This place is not cheap but it delivers the quality. There are 4 types of beans to choose from - 2 light roasts, 1 medium and 1 dark. For someone who dislikes the dark roast favoured in Thailand, this place is a welcome change. My medium roast was good - just the right mix of fragrance, acidity and body. The baked items were not cheap too. I ordered a croffle. The texture was nice and it had the right amount of sugar on it (not too much). Worth the money spent.

If you’re looking for a great selection of specialty coffees, The Roastery is the place to go (albeit a bit pricey relative to other cafes). Really great community vibe and lots of great specialty paraphernalia to see. I come here whenever I’m in town. The Roastery also runs events such as coffee cuppings from other origins, recent events include Tanzania and Mexican coffee tasting.

The best long black/americano I have had thus far in Thailand. Excellent cafe with very friendly and attentive staff. They roast their own beans, and the coffee is superb.

As there are many coffee roaster shop popping up everywhere, there might be one new best among the new comer but we may have to relied on the one that founded to be best during the time of searching. The Roastery by Roj, is a the one founded which can be rely on a good coffee supplies or just a cup of joe on the go. From a good blend to the great blend, there are variety of bean origin to choose from; import and domestic. So, if a cup of joe is what you need this is the place to go.

One of the best coffee house during my week stay in Chiang Rai. For a tourist it is not easy to locate unless staying around that area. Good service. 👍 Gave me a perfect last cup of iced latte Extra shot more milk less ice. 👍 Brighten my day. Got myself some local coffee beans to bring back. It roasted by them.

Good tasting coffee in general. The dirty coffee was made with just milk and I prefer some cream added to it, but I suppose they are in the majority anyway. The piccolo latte was very nice. The carrot cake was also very good. No food other than a few cakes and cookies but a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee.

Definitely a top rated coffee joint. They are actual coffee experts that try unique coffee combinations and compete throughout Thailand.

Best cup of coffee in Chiang Rai. Coffee and barista courses look really good value. Great atmosphere and amazing staff. I left my wallet and a young barista ran up the road to return it to me. Legend!

A serious speciality coffee shop with a wide variety of coffee varieties and roasts. Friendly staff, relaxed comfortable environment. More expensive than the average place at 65B for a hot black Americano but our medium and dark roasts were superb. Would be interesting to try one of their coffee related training courses.

Very mediocre filter coffee. Pretty sure thai coffee beans are just low quality. Medium roast tastes Dark and bitter with close to no pallet. Served in a take away cup at 16.30. Can recommend an ice coffee though.

Delicious cake, good coffee and a very nice atmosphere. We fell in love immediately :) the Italien soda is also very good. Try the mochito mint!!! 😍 You can choose local coffee beans, so have a look on the menu. You can’t find it on the boards hanging on the wall... you pay less for the local one, so have a try! :)

Light roast from Northern Thailand. Delicious, fresh, and obviously born of a passion for fine coffee. They also have beans from other well-known coffee producing regions around the world. Kenya, Ethiopia, and Guatemala on display. Good place to stop for the coffee aficionado.

A cute coffee shop recommended by other local cafe. It roasts beans grown in the north of Thailand. The specialized light roast beans taste are their signatures. The staff is very helpful and knowledgable supported us to choose the right flavor.

Ha ha I saw some almond croissants and ordered one thinking it came with the coffee as a set for 165B but only to be asked for another 80B for the latte. Oops! To be fair, the croissant was very good price aside . The latte was medium light roast beans from Pang Khon which has edged Doi Chang from my last four weeks of coffee tasting. While it was good my favourite latte is still from Soyi for 40B. 17/1/22 came here for a latte as Soyi and The Roaster were both closed. Frankly the latte for twice the price of the rest does not come close. The decor and furnishing here is hard to beat so maybe it caters for a different clientele. You be the judge.

🫤 Coffee is good, atmosphere is good, staff friendly and helpful. After buying freshly roasted beans, and having them ground to specification for over 3½ years, the owner removed the coffee grinder - thus removing the reason for this ex-customer to visit the shop.
