I
went
to
the
Emergency
Room.
I
told
the
woman
at
registration
I
wanted
to
get
seen
for
having
severe
chest,
throat,
and
head
pain.
I
had
more
symptoms,
but
she
stopped
me
and
I
saw
her
call
it
in
on
the
phone
and
said
chest
pain.
I
got
called
for
vitals
2-1/2
hours
later.
When
they
asked
me
what
I
was
feeling
I
read
off
my
symptoms
that
I
had
texted
on
my
phone.
I
had
severe
chest,
head,
and
throat
pain.
Abdominal
pain,
chills,
stiff
neck,
vomiting,
body
aches,
stuffed,runny,
and
bloody
nose,
lightheadedness,
dizziness,
eyes,
ears
burning,
lack
of
bowl
movements
for
the
last
two
days
even
with
taking
medication
to
help
me
have
a
bowl
movement,
vomiting.
They
took
an
EKG
after
getting
my
vitals,
swabbed
me
to
test
for
COVID/Flu,
and
then
put
me
back
to
the
waiting
room.
After
another
couple
hours
they
took
me
back
to
a
room
to
wait
for
the
doctor.
When
the
doctor
came
in,
she
was
a
tall
(maybe
Indian)
woman.
She
came
and
said
you
have
the
flu.
She
asked
what
are
your
symptoms
I
read
the
list
that
I
had
read
to
the
nurse
during
vitals
earlier
and
tried
to
explain
with
more
detail
what
has
been
going
on.
She
didn’t
seem
attentive,
but
was
more
looking
down
as
if
unconcerned
or
careless.
Then
she
said
she
would
prescribe
some
medications
for
pain.
I
asked
her
if
it
was
okay
to
take
with
the
medications
I
am
already
taking,
then
she
asked
me
what
am
I
taking.
She
didn’t
check
my
medications,
I
am
asteroid
respondent,
imagine
had
I
not
asked,
what
could
have
happened.
Then,
she
seemed
as
if
she
wanted
to
leave
the
room,
but
then
reluctantly
came
to
me
with
her
stethoscope
and
asked
me
to
take
two
breathes
in
and
out.
Then
she
left.
And
released
me.
I
asked
the
doctor
for
a
letter
for
work,
which
she
didn’t
provide,
so
when
the
nurse
came
with
the
discharge
papers
I
asked
her
for
the
letter
for
work
and
she
provided
one
but
said
I
could
return
to
work
in
two
days.
Which
confused
me,
how
can
I
return
in
two
days
when
I
am
highly
symptomatic.
So
the
next
day
I
reviewed
the
notes
through
my
chart
system
and
realized
the
doctor
had
lied
alot
on
her
summary
notes.
She
didn’t
examine
me
for
anything
for
example:
I
said
I
had
abdominal
pain
she
never
pressed
on
my
abdomen.
I
told
her
I
had
chest
pain,
she
noted
no
symptoms
of
chest
pain,
she
said
no
to
dizziness
and
lightheadedness
and
I
said
I
did
have
those
symptoms.
And
the
doctor
didn’t
even
inform
me
that
my
blood
pressure
was
high
and
that
my
resting
heart
rate
was
high.
It
was
at
95
when
it
is
normally
60-77.
This
is
sad
how,
no
one
is
holding
these
“medical
professionals”
accountable.
I
did
file
a
complaint
with
the
patient
advocate,
but
nothing
ever
gets
done.
Also,
the
nurse
who
handed
me
the
discharge
papers
failed
to
identify
herself.
Who
ever
is
in
management
needs
to
go
and
see
for
themselves,
or
maybe
they
are
the
reason
for
the
problem.
They
don’t
even
staple
your
discharge
papers
they
just
had
you
a
bunch
of
papers
no
folder
or
anything.
Also
there
were
four
security
guards
talking
in
the
desk
and
none
were
attentive
to
what
was
going
on.
The
room
had
reached
full
capacity
and
people
were
standing,
it
took
the
security
guards
a
while
to
say
something.
Then
when
they
did
they
said
it
one
time
that
if
you
are
not
a
patient
you
must
go
to
your
car
because
we
are
at
full
capacity.
No
one
moved
the
security
guards
did
not
care.
They
had
pizzas
delivered
to
them
and
were
chatting
and
laughing
with
each
other.
Three
African
American
woman
and
one
African
American
man.
Then
they
made
the
announcement
again
about
30
minutes
later
and
still
no
one
moved.
They
didn’t
enforce
anything.
And
there
was
patient
who
wasn’t
wearing
mask
the
whole
time
he
was
in
the
waiting
room.
