    Feels like a little bar in Northern Wisconsin but no Packer fans! Very friendly bartenders and great place to meet the neighbors. Fun times. Only warning is WATCH YOUR SPEED. which is ONLY 20 mph, on the roadway from Roberts Rd up to the bar.

    Nice little local spot. Nikki our bartender was amazing, attentive and funny. Would definitely go there again when she is working. 😁 Cash bar and they only have frozen za, but you can do delivery.

    It's a local place, a cash only neighborhood bar. I love it. Drinks are well priced, TV is brand new (ask about the disco ball incident) and they have one of those fancy pants internet jukeboxes.

    House bar off the fox river that rents kayaks? Yes please! Bonus that they were free for 4hours this memorial day! Service was nice at this no frills rest-a-while

    Hermann's rest a while is a small bar in port Barrington. I frequent it during the winter months to ice fish the channels of the fox river right across the street from the bar. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. It's pretty inexpensive to park in their lot if you want to go out ice fishing. At the end of the day it's nice to warm up at the bar and grab a drink and a bite to eat. I'd suggest some of their homemade chili.

    Great Little joint to stop at if you're headed south from the lakes, especially if broken oar is packed to the brim. Definitely suggest their cheese stuffed pretzel! Absolute GOLD.

😐 My wife and I just had dinner here. The food was good. I have only one complaint, why do you charge for more tartar sauce when you have an all you can eat fish fry. Imagine if Olive garden, on endless soup and salad, charged you for salad dressing on your 2nd order of salad.
