Went to Chicago Coin Company Today and was very dissatisfied with the service. I read a couple of reviews afterwards and I must concur I hope I was not treated the way I was because of my ethnicity I'm Black. The tall female was very rude and belligerent. Glen was ok. It was a customer after me that was buzzed in immediately (he was Caucasian)But probably won't be back and won't refer anyone there !!!! Customer Service Goes a long way and fairness means alot. You never know who you're shunning away just a word of advice 🤔

On my birthday my wife wanted to offer me any coin of my choosing and price was no limit on this. We made our way to this shop and really disappointed 😔 by the customer service, without allowing us to pass the entrance door to even look at the register, not even taking the kindness to engage and answer some of our questions. This whole experience touched me so much that I was so sad on my birthday as I was looking forward to add an amazing coin to my collection. I would recommend this show or owners to review or train the staff in customer service, to never neglect or under estimate a customer because you don’t know how valuable 1 customer can be and how much their review and opinion can catapult your business to the next level. However from my perspective, I cannot recommend anyone to go near this business, they do not care about being kind, building relationships with customers, nor having their loyalty so they can always go back to them for their next purchase. Being in the coin word for some years now, I know the first thing to learn is to be kind and nice to the next person approaching by far we are all learning something from the next coin collector everyday.

Went to try get something for my husband and immediately there was just some awkwardness from the way the young lady ran to the back to call some guy with out saying good afternoon how can I help you. We were no allowed the back saying then do not let people back to see the coins to choose they have to show from a window. But there was a white man who was in the back before us probably receiving exceptional service. The business needs to revisit they security protocol towards people of color because it’s rude and insulting the way you are treated there. It’s 2022 people of color work hard for their dollar and coming to support your business is not suppose to be a uncomfortable experience. Disappointed. Zero stars would be appropriate for this place. Never going back.

I was thinking of coming to this store to add to my silver stacking and try local coin shops to see what can they offer, but due to the latest reviews of their costumer service, thank you for saving me a trip to this place!

( black guy) I went in the guy was all buisness/ professional very informative and helpful ..I'm happy..also he csnt let you in the back because they have they inventory out once you go past the door..the way he do it is sufficient though and he puts your metals on the tester for you ..I will be back

I bring a huge collection of my mom and dad's going to there and I was happy with the price at first what they only pay you for the weight doesn't matter what the dates are they don't consider whether you have diamonds in rings or necklaces and I wasn't thinking at that time but I took a huge loss I mean a huge laws they took advantage of me I would not advise anybody to go there

I called in first before going in great customer service. Needed some jewelry checked for quality of karat, they have an xrf scanner. Also had some other jewelry that im looking to sale checked and (they offered me a great deal). Who would have thought, some straight up fair business in the Chicagoland area lol. Highly recommend them, also going back to pick up troy ounce bar great price if your in the area.

Shows Canadian coins on the cover photos doesn't buy Canadian coins doesnt know that a 2006 ones could be valuable and will try make your other country coins seem worthless when they are worth 100$ a price at min

Been going there for years and there there best in the business. Glen, Stacy, and Melissa are the best in the business. They are the best around for buying and selling.

They are friendly but alls they care about is if you only have gold or silver they really didn't care if your other coins are valuable or not
