    MASSAGE : okay / good 7/10 FACILITY : disgusting 2/10 Walking in this appeared to be a nice place. Once you got to the hallway with the rooms it was a different world. The carpet was visibly old and black in the high traffic areas. Once I got in my room I immediately noticed: -garbage/dirty glove on the floor (obviously from an appointment before mine) -sewer flies on the wall - the walls were so greasy and full of grime and finger prints from product -the bedding didn’t look nice or clean.. -dirty / greasy carpet once I met my massage therapist she advised to undress and hop on the treatment table. I took my sandals off and immediately felt how gross and slimy the carpet was…. Finally getting into my massage it was cold in the room and hard to relax as the “soothing” spa music they were playing kept skipping and the speaker was blown so it was almost like static.. not a very good experience at this point. Massage therapist was very nice. Massage itself would be 7/10. After my massage was over a receptionist took me to another small room to sell me on the monthly subscription.. her black leggings were so tight I could see her underwear as well was smell her body odor from 3 feet away. Or maybe it was the lunch she ate hours before… ? Unprofessional… Not trying to bash the salon but I’ve had quite a few massages in my day. When I think of spa and massage I think of clean, warm, relaxing, comfortable.. unfortunately this place really missed the mark for me especially for the price point….

    Scored what I thought was a reasonably good deal for a last minute availability for a 60-min (really 45min massage: 5min taken in beginning to undress -despite being 15 min early. 5 min taken at end to redress, 5 min taken for who knows why he left the massage room mid-massage). From check-in, the front desk had 3 young ladies, 1 was training. Their welcome was lacking friendliness. I was offered to sit in a pre-massage waiting room w/o being told anything about the perks inside the room. Those I heard from one of the other customers orientation as he was also guided to sit in the same room. The music kept skipping & going off. It’s was the most awkward experience I’ve ever had during a professional massage. Well-intended I’m sure, he started out the massage trying to verbally offer me unsolicited exercises/stretches that I could do at home. This lasted 10 minutes before he took a breath & that’s when I did my best to ask him “can we please have some quiet time? I don’t mean to be rude, I appreciate your rationales /teaching but this would be most helpful for me right now.” He didn’t reply at all. It felt like I offended him but I don’t know many people who want to be talked to during a massage. Maybe he was new, idk. After that, I didn’t know how to salvage the massage so was at the mercy of his recovery from that awkward moment. His hand /knuckle pressure was firm which I appreciated however, the speed of his massage was so fast I felt like I was a going through a car wash or a mixer. Mid-way the massage someone knocks on the door. The Massage Therapist says, “occupied.” A minute later, again, someone knocks on the door. This time, the therapist actually got up and left the room for a few minutes. This has never happened to me while getting a massage. He started to explain why he left the room as someone has confused who they were looking for in the room we were occupying. Bottom line: This particular location could use guidance in customer service & some tips in professionalism. While I tipped more than 20%, I am thankful I don’t pay full price & NO, I won’t be back to this location (Massage Envy Frankfort, Il).

    Wow. What can I say, I thought my first visit was just a fluke. So, I thought I would give it another go. I didn’t expect my second visit to be need worst. First off, my massage therapist burped during my massage. I understand sometime we cannot control our bodily functions but this just felt…uncomfortable. I asked for a deep tissue massage and he used SO MUCH OIL. I was literally dripping. He then proceeded to open palm just vigorously rub my body. It was not was I asked for (he was listed as accepting any type of pressure, btw). It was also the opposite of helpful or relaxing! I’ve actually never had a professional massage quite like this. I don’t fine the place to be very great. It feels like a cash grab and a way to talk people into subscriptions. Go to a spa. The price difference is not much and I promise you will enjoy your experience so much more. I will say this though, the staff has been extremely nice both times I visited. They are very sweet. It just truly was not an experience worth investing in. Especially for their prices. On another note, I asked for a refund after I called to speak about my issues. I have yet to hear back.

    Angel gave me the best massage I've ever had. She had the perfect amount firm pressure and really focused on the areas I told her were bothering me. I will definitely be scheduling another appointment with her. The only think I don't like about massage envy is the annoying sales pitch at the end trying to get you to sign up for a membership. I just had a nice relaxing massage, let me pay and leave. Otherwise great experience.

    My massage therapist, Jay, was great. He was very attentive to the areas that I specified and I was very pleased. The facility was nice and so was Darlene at the front desk. I didn’t like the hard sell when I was checking out but everything else was great.

    Love this Massage Envy location. The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. Shout out to Darlene. Dave is the absolute best massage therapist ever! I always ask him to concentrate on my back, and he delivers 110%.

    My massage with Angel was amazing! I really needed my neck shoulders and lower back worked on and she was able to release that tension in those areas! 10/10 recommend if you need a deep pressure massage!

    Angel has great pressure and stretching. Perfect massage for relaxation. I'm been back several times in the past month for increased stress. Angel is the only once that could relieve the tension in my face. I've been going to the Frankfort massage envy for years. 4 stars because the facility needs to do some updating.

    I will start by saying the massage was great - pressure, focus, technique was all good. Due to the client before me, I was brought to the room more than 10 minutes late, yet the massage ended "on time". The room was cold. The linens were thin. I could basically feel the plastic of the table under the sheet. The music had static and cut out every few minutes. Hot stones & aromatherapy are add-ons. The non-member price for a $90 minute massage is $50 more than a neighboring spa that has cupping and hot stones included in the price. The whole experience was cold & unwelcoming. I will not be returning.

    Taylor was fantastic. Regained my confidence in this location. My last experience was a disaster. But Taylor was exactly what I expected in a massage therapist. Will ask for her again.

    This was the most thoughtful and therapeutic massage I’ve had in many MANY years and I get about 3 massages per month!!! Dave is a gifted healer. He completely heard and addressed my concerns with skill and care. I will be a regular of his now!!

    Angel was good with the deep tissue massage. She asked about pressure and reminded me to release (exhale). Angel is also good with conversation if you are into that during a massage.

    When we started using massage envy, service was ok. The last 3-4 times have resulted in a serious decline in personal service. Once upon a time water awaited you with the question of how you feel, did you enjoy the massage and suggestions on future treatment. Now you can find your own way out!

    Upon entering the facility I was greeted by friendly faces to check in. I observed the cleanliness of the facility and was impressed. It was a very relaxing environment. Lily was my therapist and she was absolutely amazing. She listened to my needs and targeted all my sore spots. The environment and service was absolutely amazing and I will return.

    Had a 60 minute massage here this past week. My therapist Vanessa was excellent and found all kinds of knots and stress in my upper shoulders I had no idea were there. Would recommend this place highly. I will be back.

    Angel has provided me with the best massage I have ever had. She definitely knows what she is doing. It’s a very relaxing and calming experience. She even put me to sleep a few times. Highly recommended!

    I hate coming here but my husband bought me a gift card so I wasn’t gonna let it go to waste. I asked if she could concentrate more on my neck and shoulders because that’s where my pain was. I don’t need my legs massaged although sometimes I do enjoy the full body. The therapist said well your booked for full body so I have to do full body. I’m sorry but I go monthly for massages (not here) if I ask them to concentrate on a specific area and skip a specific area they always do what I ask. After all I am the one paying for the service. Her massage strokes were deep like I asked but it was like she was in a race. It was such fast motion I felt like she was rubbing my skin raw. Then after they wanna try to sell me their packages and specials. I responded with that’s ok I won’t be back. Next time someone gets me a gift card here, hopefully never, I will be passing it on to someone else.

    I came in for a facial with Brianna, she was very knowledgeable about how to properly care for your skin & gave excellent advice on what products works best for your skin. While she was doing my facial she was explaining every step and made sure I was comfortable at every point. When I entered the building the young lady at the receptionist desk, sorry I don't remember her name, was very helpful and explained the process of how things work in great detail. I will be returning.

    David is wonderful!!! It took a few tries to get a massage therapist that is so great but I will continue to go to David! He focuses well on problem areas and makes sure to advise of any concerns. Great pressure and always feel great leaving my appointments!

    Always a good and relaxing experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. They also have availability that usually fits my hectic schedule. And I love my monthly facials with Brianna! I have definitely seen changes. I recommend this Massage Envy location. Great job!

    5 star facility!! The staff is wonderful! The assistant manager Darlene is super helpful & kind too! All of the office personnel are all very polite and friendly! I had called and Mikayla helped me out most of the time and she is just the sweetest ever! As for the massage, IT WAS FANTASTIC! I’ve been going to Demond and he is GREAT! Not only does he make sure to focus and healing the whole body but he also makes sure you are comfortable throughout the whole massage! Super pleased with this specific location and will most definitely continue my massage therapy with them!

    My husband gave me a membership to Massage Envy a few Christmases ago and it’s the gift that keeps on giving. David S. is a phenomenal massage therapist. I look forward to my monthly massage very much and month to month he makes sure to ask me what’s going on, do I have any pain, etc. I love that he doesn’t talk throughout our session, because in the past I have had therapists who talk & talk, preventing me from being able to relax. Dave knows this is my time, and his silence truly allows me to relax and escape for 90 minutes. He’s the best! 👍🏻☺️💆🏻‍♀️

    Therapist was good, but this location really needs an update. The walls in the rooms are disgusting. They need to be painted and there are liquid stains all over the walls. Very gross and dingy. I cannot believe I was in Frankfort, IL. I cannot believe this place can operate under these dirty looking conditions. Also, the hallways are loud and you can hear and feel the doors opening and closing. Please update or you will lose a lot of clients to other locations or other companies. I can barely give this location one star because it is so gross.
