The
selection
was
quite
neat,
if
not
a
little
overpriced
on
some
items.
However,
the
cashier
did
not
scan
all
the
items
we
intended
to
buy,
nor
did
they
pay
attention
when
the
items
were
bagged.
We
know
this
because
something
triggered
the
censors
when
we
went
to
leave.
My
sister
grew
concerned
and
came
back
with
the
bag
to
look
through
it
to
make
sure
it
wasn't
anything
in
there,
taking
the
items
we
purchased
out.
The
cashier
points
out
some
items
that
were
not
on
the
receipt
(which,
I
will
point
out,
are
similarly
colored/branded
to
the
items
that
were
on
the
receipt
-
this
is
why
I
assumed
they
overlooked
them),
and
instead
of
asking
if
we
intended
to
purchase
the
items
in
the
first
place
or
wringing
them
up
properly,
take
the
items
back.
The
next
time
I
entered
the
store
myself
that
day,
the
cashier
had
approached
me
and
said
in
a
quite
condescending
way
that
if
I
didn't
buy
something,
they
were
going
to
ask
me
to
leave,
due
to
what
happened
earlier.
I
understand
that
the
cashier
needs
to
look
out
for
the
store,
but
we
stole
nothing,
even
going
out
of
our
ways
to
ensure
we
wouldn't
when
realistically,
most
people
would
have
just
kept
walking.
But
rather
than
addressing
the
mistake,
the
cashier
behaved
in
such
a
way
that
gave
my
sister
so
much
anxiety
and
embarrassment
that
she
did
not
want
to
be
anywhere
near
that
store,
and
then
she
wants
to
treat
us
like
thieves?
I
*did*
end
up
buying
an
item,
in
fact.
But
both
times
we
were
there
would
have
been
more
lucrative
for
the
store
if
their
employee
had
owned
up
to
their
error
the
first
time,
and
exercised
better
behavior
the
second.
I'm
sure
this
store
some
excellent
people
on
their
crew,
we
were
just
not
fortunate
enough
to
meet
them
this
visit.
