A lovely end to our Chicago trip. The service was excellent and the drinks were fantastic. Loved the vibe and the music. We ordered the shrimp shumai, karaage, and takoyaki and enjoyed them all. We will definitely be back when we're back in town!

Came for a late night drink. Loved the environment at the bar. Had a DJ that played relaxing music. Drinks are strong and the staff were lovely. We’re laid back, romantic, relaxing bar area. Felt like I was in another dimension.

Great selection of sake and whisky but I would highly suggest not to eat here. I kinda can't believe a Japanese owned place can serve hard boiled eggs in the ramen. Everything in the ramen is super average. The atmosphere is cool though. Go for drinks and karaoke.

Nice dark atmosphere that plays 80s Japanese city pop and current day modern J-pop. Their cocktails are all blended with Japanese drinks that’s unique to the bar. Prices are little bit on the higher end, but friendly service and drinks makes up for it. There’s also a karaoke room you can rent out with friends.

Very authentic Japanese venue. The food and drinks are delicious, and the employees are polite and friendly. The karaoke system was very easy to use, and the price per hour for the karaoke room was ridiculously cheap considering the location.

This place is a portal into Japan. It's a small, cozy bar, full of interesting colors and characters all with their own story. They play City Pop music some times and it's amazing.

Great private karaoke room, great selection of drinks (namely Japanese spirits, sake, and Asahi/Sapporo beer), amazing upscale vibe/atmosphere and decor, in addition to superb service. Would definitely come again! I would recommend parties of 4+ come here to hang out and book 2 hours of karaoke since 1 your is way too short. Must visit for sure. Bathrooms are nice too. Not too crowded either. I liked this place a lot, had a great time! Absolute banger place.

Really cool spot. Loved how relaxing the atmosphere is! The drink menu was very extensive. I don't know what kind of sake I had, but it was the best I have ever tried. Loved that you could get flights of sake as well. Servers were very friendly and answered all of my questions. This was the last location we went to while in Chicago. Definitely a nice place to reflect and end our trip. We will 100% be back! Hoping to do that on a Monday night so we can catch their stand up comedy!

Awesome Sake Bar with a nice selection of Japanese whiskey, beers, wines and sake. The bartender Allie was very knowledgeable, explained the various drinks and provided fascinating background information which was a very nice experience. They had a dj on the night I went, and the music was great, providing a nice hip atmosphere. They also have small plates available and a room in the back which can be reserved for karaoke.

Stunning selection of sakis that will pique palates of anyone, well versed in sake or merely fascinated as I am by the incredibly diverse selection of alcoholic beverages worldwide. The decor with its magical mix of light and shadow and color is out of this world, creating a one-of-a-kind experience. A must-see mini wonderland even if you have never touched and never intend to touch an alcoholic beverage! Plenty of good Japanese whiskeys as well. I wish I could spend hours each day for a week sampling everything. Mind you, I experienced this tiny universe (possibly existing here only because of a time-space wormhole direct to Tokyo??) in March 2018 (it's December 2021). The impression is indelibly stamped!

The ambience is wonderful! Stylish, cozy, and tucked away. Service is very welcoming and attentive. Great prices. I tried this place for the first time and ordered the strawberry nigori sake which was so delicious I'm going to buy my own bottle! For food, I ordered the ramen which was underwhelming, which is why I'm taking 1 star off. I had the pork belly and it was dry. The ramen was that flavorful either. I wouldn't mind coming back to hang out with friends and explore the menu!

Beautiful staff who are on it if you know what I mean. Great vibes and the DJ Van is so funny and friendly. I stumbled on this place tonight and have no regrets. I've lived here for 22 years and think I've found a place to visit once in awhile. So relaxing.

Always passed by this spot and finally decided to stop by on a very cold Wednesday night around 7pm. Did not get a chance to snag photos of the spot, but very chill and the layout and spotlights on furniture, is reminiscent of a furniture store, even though the lights were dim. Kind of bummed their kitchen was closed but had some flights of sake and whiskies over conversation. Also thought they had karaoke but did not see that available either. Would like to pop in another time.

Came here for karaoke. Loved having a private room and had a lot of fun with friends. The tablet was a little difficult to use and the room was very warm. The drinks were just okay (not my typical kind of drinks). Overall a fun time!

This place is truly a hidden gem in our beloved city for Chicagoans craving a Japanese atmosphere to brush up on their language skills or take a break from an American reality. A sincere thank you to Allie, Motoi, and the other staff for great conversation, great music, and drink recommendations. Staff here are kind, cordial, charming, welcoming, and compliment the atmosphere of the lounge. Thank you again for helping myself and my friends to a wonderful night! We will definitely be back.

Fantastic sake bar that we will be returning to regularly! Great selection of drinks, all flavorful (and of course strong), plus food options that taste delicious. They often have a live DJ as well which really adds to the atmosphere.

Very cozy whiskey and sake lounge with a wide selection of drinks and snacks. We enjoyed a variety of whiskeys and cocktails while spending about 2 hours here. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well. If you would like food, make sure to arrive earlier in the evening as they close the kitchen before 9 pm during the week.

The food was delicious but the drinks were overpriced and not. The karaoke is small and uncomfortable and the machine was hard to use. The actual bar has a nice atmosphere but if you are doing karaoke it took over 10 minutes to receive your soda order.

Went for drinks but they also serve appetizers. Very relaxed atmosphere. They also have a karaoke room
