Lilliberry is a tasty cocktail here, good ambience and cozy vibes. Frank Buchalski is the best give, he’d give you the best recommendations 👌

Full of drunk business travelers. My two glasses of wine were good, but for $45!!! They should’ve been superb. I would’ve appreciated being acknowledged by the bartender, but in her defense she was fending off handsy Bob and his friends. The art on the bar was lovely. Won’t return.

This was a nice bar in the hotel. Upscale made a drink to order that was not on the menu. Friendly hostess and waitstaff. Would definitely come again when im the area.

I would say this place is really 50/50. I had one of the drinks with cucumber and it was fantastic. I had the French sangria and I was quite a bit less impressed. I would go here if I was nearby but not a must go to place.

Lovely modern bar in Sofitel hotel. Bartenders are great and able to make unique cocktails. The food here is artfully prepared with a french flair and oh so good. Stop in after a long day and treat yourself.

Had the 10oz NY Steak Frits ($40) and a non alcoholic beverage ($6). The steak was very good, came with a mix of sautéed mushrooms, seasoned right and at the right temp. However it was handed to me with no cutlery, and when they did get me something to eat it with there was no steak knife. Compliments on the cut and cook of the steak that I could eat it with a butter knife. Service was attentive but also not sociable which was odd for a bar. The place is nice, well lit, has a patio, many different types of seating which might be annoying when it's busy. At least the remix of everything music playing was decent.

For such an amazing hotel, this bar sure was lacking. There were out of just about everything you asked for. And the service was seriously lacking. Getting a drink was next to impossible. But I guess that’s what you would expect when they only staff one bartender. And don’t even get me started on trying to get the bill…

I live nearby and am not a hotel guest, but this bar is a great little spot just off the Triangle. They have great French reds, good off-menu cocktails, and a really fantastic burger with fries. The hummus plate with pita and veggies is also really good.

In town for a wedding. Stayed at the Sofitel. This bar opened at 3pm. We were frequent visitors. The staff was very friendly, service excellent! Try the deviled eggs with caviar on top as an appetizer. Divine!

Good food. But slow service and the drinks are nothing special. Reminds me of a generic hotel bar that you would find next to the airport in a town like Milwaukee, very disappointing for the area

We were staying in the Sofitel, we happened to stop in for a drink before we went to our room. Keep in mind it was around 9:30pm on a Sunday, we asked a girl there if they were still open because they were pretty empty and she told us they were closing. Come to find out we went to our room and looked online to find out they don’t close till 10:30pm, so she clearly lied to us. Kind of bad customer service, and bad because she was losing business for the hotel bar considering we were ready to pay for drinks.

It's an upscale hotel bar with prices to match. The drinks were good, but could had at many other area bars for a few dollars cheaper. Atmosphere was nice, but music was too loud. Service was good. Drinks came promptly and the waitress was attentive to our table.

As a local who lives just around the corner, it's the staff, ambiance, music, and crowd that brings me back week after week. The team, Jeremy, Julian, Sydney, and James always provide exceptional service and white glove experiences with cocktail and wine recommendations, good conversation (when they're not busy), and an esteemed professionalism that is second to none. It's like walking into a hip New York bar, but buried in this Chicago concrete forrest. If you're drawn by the French-themed name, don't hesitate, but be aware that there are slim to zero options when it comes to the cuisine and wine. For a hotel with this much global presence, I truly hope to see a more robust food menu with European charm and taste. This establishment needs to give their customers (both short and long-term) a seasonal experience, keeping their curiosity thirsting for more. Note to management/ownership: Please expand your food bar bites menu. Chicken wings are meant for bars in Wrigleyville and Boystown, not the Gold Coast. Make us feel like we're fancy.

I’ll start by saying the drinks and food were delicious and the ambiance was beautiful. We stayed at the Sofitel, and after dinner out, we brought some friends back to Le Bar. The host who sat our group was very friendly and the gentlemen who filled our waters were very kind and accommodating. The one damper on the evening was our server. She was visibly curt and very impatient with our group the whole evening. We asked for menus and she rudely gestures towards the QR code, muttering under her breath as our party was deciding on drinks. Multiple people in our party mentioned how they felt that her whole demeanor was unwelcoming and cold the whole visit. She helped herself to an 18% tip on our bill, and when she took the check, she opened it in front of me and saw I didn’t add an additional tip, and muttered “really?” And walked away. Otherwise a great experience.

My wife and I went there for dinner last night and we had a great time. The staff was very helpful and accommodated all our needs. We are from out of town and they gave us some good ideas on what to do and where to go. It was nice!

Great spot to grab a quick bite or cocktail. Swing by the bar inside and as for Jamie, top class establishment.
