The Marq hit all the marks for a fabulous restaurant. (See what I did there? 😆) The place was sleek without being uncomfortable and their sitting area was a great place to have a cocktail before sitting down for our meal. The oversized couches from Restoration Hardware and the custome oversized coffee table gave it a nice touch as well. But on the food!!! I can honestly say everything I ate was excellent. Our group had the variety of sliders. (Cheeseburger, falafel, carnitas, and the fried chicken) Then there was the BEST fried pickles EVER!!! Seriously people it’s a must try! Shrimp tacos were beautiful to look at and our group obviously enjoyed but I couldn’t eat or I would 😵. We also got a charcuterie board, corn risotto, salad, and the yummiest sweet potato fries with just the right amount of flaky salt. Honestly this place doesn’t disappoint! I wish they were open on the weekends. Sorry I forgot to take pictures of the shrimp tacos, corn risotto, salad, and the sweet potato fries 🤦🏻‍♀️ by that point I just wanted to do more eating and less pictures 😂

Food was amazing, the drinks were delicious and the server we had was one of the best I've ever had. Will definitely stop again.

Awesome brunch here today (served until 11:30am). The avo toast with poached eggs was very well cooked, tasty and perfectly on point. The olives and herbs were a lovely touch and accompaniment. Green tea and a fresh OJ & Grapefruit juice to wash it down with were also good. Great value overall. The server Jenna was polite, kind and speedy. What more could you ask for? She even went so far as to offer some helpful breakfast spot suggestions. Thank you Jenna - Great job, keep it up!

Great place for an after work happy hour! Charcuterie board had really fresh meats and cheeses. All the appetizers were really good and the specialty drinks were tasty.

Such a fun find! We got there early and sat in the back....and what started with a few tables of people turned into people everywhere. What a fun vibe! The food was super tasty and filled the belly with large portions! The humus was so tasty and topped with all kinds of wonderful served with yummy warm naan bread. We got the falafel with fries, the Mac and cheese with added bacon and tomato, and finished with the cookie ice cream sundae situation! Left with a smile and the service was delightful!

The food and service were absolutely amazing!! I got the nachos, which were hands down the best nachos I have ever had, I would definitely recommend The Marq to anyone looking to visit Chicago :)

We came here for a team dinner visiting from Atlanta for a conference. Setting up the reservation was easy, the food and service was impeccable and we had an amazing time together.

Good atmosphere, great apps, and an excellent entree. I had the wagyu burger. Would recommend! Fries are amazing. The hummus appetizer was definitely a crowd favorite. The chicken sandwich sliders were a close second. Sadly the only pic I got was of the best non-alcoholic beer I’ve ever tasted.

The Meeze Plate was the star of the show. But, the Carnitas and Shrimp Tacos were incredible and surprisingly inexpensive. Generous portions, delightful ambiance, friendly and efficient staff. We will be back.

Honestly the breakfast/brunch offerings are amazing. So many good choices it was hard to choose! I ended up going with the French toast. It’s definitely for you if you have a sweet tooth. I also got a mimosa. It’s made with fresh squeezed Orange juice, so you know it’s good. Great service, great food, and wonderful atmosphere. What more could you want?

Outstanding experience. Love the atmosphere, the food was very good, and our bartender was by far the most knowledgeable person I have yet to meet regarding beer varieties and spot on recommendations of which selections to go with along our culinary journey. Yes, I am gushing, but it truly was a wonderful time spent there.

This was a great place for a group of us to grab some dinner before we went to a show at the CIBC theater. This is a hustling and bustling after work style bar and restaurant, the wait staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had a group of nine and we were able to get our food and drinks served quickly and correctly and zip out to the theater for our show.

Great early spot for some avocado toast, a tasty bloody Mary and a local craft beer.

While in Chi-town planned to go to ZOUP next door and decided try this place since the weather was nice and they had outdoor seating. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. We sat in a partially shaded area and she came out and moved us to a shaded table‼️ Loved that attentiveness‼️ The waiter was great, the service was great, my Waldorf salad with shrimp and Lemon Aioli roasted potatoes were great but my companions chicken bites and Caesar salad were just ok. May come back again when in Chicago.

Great place for an upscale breakfast for two. Menu had a variety of offerings and coffee tasted so good. Our server, Emilie, was attentive yet not overbearing. We'll be back on a non-rainy day to enjoy the patio seating.

Had an after-work corporate event here. The food was served buffet style and was really tasty. Sliders were excellent, not dry at all. Beef flatbread had lots of flavor. Staff were great, very friendly, and gave prompt service for drinks and topping up the food. Highly recommend if you are looking for an after-work get-together place.

The food was delicious, and our team had a wonderful time there, our server (Jenna P.) was on top of things and was very organized despite having such a big group she took care of us fastidiously and with the utmost care. We all came out very satisfied with the food, service, price and ambiance.

Great twist on American classics, the breakfast is awesome, great classics made uniquely, excellent price for how fresh and delicious the ingredients are. One of the few breakfast restaurants left in downtown. Definitely check it out whether you work in the area or visiting.

My husband and I had lunch at the Marq while in Chicago. The food was excellent. The ambience was lovely. The carrot cake is a must for desert. What a great place to eat!

Nice setting. Not too fancy. Great prices. Decent menu selection but simple. The Marq slider was delicious with their signature aoli. The ceviche was on point. Marq slaw was less than average so I put the ceviche on top and made a bomb salad that is keto.

Really great food and a very unique drink menu with handcrafted cocktails. Beer and wine too.

Charcuterie board and Buffalo wings were the perfect appetizers for two people. 1/2 Burger + Mac n Cheese made a good combo for the entree.

What an incredible gem! My wife and I loved our breakfast here! Breakfast is a tough meal to differentiate a restaurant, but their take on biscuits and gravy and the huevos ranchers was totally different from anything we've ever had,,, and both dishes were some of the BEST we've ever had!

Always good food and drink with friendly staff. I am so glad this place made it through the pandemic! It is a loop lunch time staple. My company also had a party here and they did a fantastic job keeping up.
