GREAT VIEWS, OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS FOOD!!! Details below: Amazing experience from begging to the end. It was my moms first time in Chicago and I wanted her to see the best views . When I made the reservation I asked for a nice table by the window they said that it’s not guaranteed but they will do their best to accommodate my request. When we got there the hostess was extremely polite and genuinely smiled, she told me right the way that she has a very nice table for us and hopes we have a great time. The table was really was one of the best in the restaurant and I was already satisfied and didn’t expect too much from the food and service because usually at places with unique views the food and service is not that good- you pay for the views:) But I was wrong in this case THE SERVICE THE FOOD AND THE VIEWS WERE OUTSTANDING!!! Our waiter Victor came to the table quickly told us the wine specials and made really nice wine recommendation - he didn’t try to sell us the most expensive wine as they usually do instead he offered very good quality wine at a normal price. We ordered and then his assistant Juan came and made so much effort to make sure we are having a great time . He was always close by the table for any request…. He was very attentive and on point the whole time . He gave us so much service without interrupting our dinner and experience. I go to nice restaurants all the time but Juan added a lot to what I thought it’s a good service. The food was very delicious as well .We started with scallops and then I had the New York Strip Steak that was served with very good wine sauce and my mom had Lamb which was not only very delicious but it was a very generous portion too. Dessert was awesome too. We will be definitely back when we are in Chicago Again!

Let me start with the most important part. You are paying for the experience. The food was good, don't get me wrong! But if your looking to pay a lot of money for just food, there's better places :). The view however is absolutely worth every penny! Combine that, with the decor, service, and still really great food, and you have an amazing place! There is a dress code, and you really do need reservations for the most part, although I was lucky. The staffing was friendly, overall a great experience and would recommend!

Amazing views and great service. We showed up about 90 minutes before service and took the 1000 foot elevator ride north to the gods and sky. The line took about and hour but they had a manager placing people as quickly as possible. Once seated we had drinks within 1-2 minutes and enjoyed the lovely sunset. They even dims the lights inside to enjoy the show outside!

Everyone should visit this restaurant at least once in their lifetime and make sure to go around 5pm. The view is absolutely breath taking. The ambiance of the restaurant is so peaceful. The food was great and I literally don't have 1 complaint. Very upscale and intimate setting. Definitely recommend!! ❤️

An absolutely amazing experience! I came here with my wife for our 1 year wedding anniversary and the staff was very accommodating and very friendly! Received and window seat (and completely worth it). The food was excellent and the atmosphere was incredible. Definitely a great place to go if you're looking for something unique to do in Chicago!

It was our first time and definitely not our last. Recommend getting a reservation and don't forget to tip generously. They made my birthday so memorable. The host to the waiter were incredible, I have no complaints what so ever. The food was amazing, lets not forget the desserts. They literally melted in your mouth and they made this cute little design around the plates to make my birthday so special. I would say to arrive early it's really busy, and if you have no reservations then you'll be stuck waiting in line not just for the elevator to go upstairs but for a table to be seated. So if your stuck waiting, its on you. Once again you guys are ALL truly awesome such a beautiful experience and marvelous views.

Amazing lounge overlooking Chicago downtown and Navy Pier. Great to take pictures and enjoy a drink while taking in the view. Night views are even better. Would say it’s a must visit. Weekdays aren’t that crowded so if you are visiting Chicago, definitely be there as soon as it is open. Good selection of wines and cocktails at reasonable prices. Has a policy of 1 drink minimum.

Absolutely stunning views of the city. They aren’t joking when they say it’s the restaurant that all of Chicago looks up to! The food is good, but as others have said - it’s the experience and the ambiance that you’re buying. We had a table right on a south side window, and you could see for days. We left just as the sun was starting to set and it was beautiful. Worth it, if you can get a reservation.

Delicious food, good vibes and perfect service. The staff is very attentive and kind. The view is just magnificent! Halibut is a pure delight! I can’t give five stars only because of the dessert with a tempting name “Blueberry crisp with coconut sorbet”. This is a mistake and they should take it out of the menu. If it is offered for breakfast in 2 star hotel, why not but in such restaurant it is a shame. It tasted like cooked blueberries with morning granola. And yes, they forgot the sorbet!!!

The Signature Room is a charming American restaurant located on the 95th floor of the John Hancock building in the infamous Windy City, Chicago, Illinois of USA. 95 floors in the sky allows for a breathtaking, panoramic view of the illuminating Chicago architecture. The contemporary art decor, high ceilings, and dim lighting provide an elegant atmosphere for a fine evening in the heart of the city. Dinner was satisfying! It included: Seared Scallops, Sorghum Glazed Salmon, and Chocolate Mousse Cake. The cocktails were the PAMA Kiss and Signature Room Punch. I would recommend this restaurant as a Chicago tourist “must visit” for fascinating ambience, good service, and delicious American cuisine.

I celebrated my birthday at the Signature Room prior to experiencing Beyoncé on the Renaissance Tour. The view was amazing. We could actually see the jumbo tron at Soldier Field from our table. The personalized menus are a nice touch. The food was average but not terrible, but in all honesty, you're paying for the spectacular view. For the price, I actually expected the decor to be much better than it was. The dining room is very dated and I was disappointed to look at the table across from us and not only see the legs of the tables because the tablecloths don't go to the floor, but the legs had duct tape on them as well. That was extremely tacky. Our waiters were fabulous. We were pressed for time because the concert was supposed to start at 8 p.m. so we had a 5 p.m. reservation. We were finished with dinner and dessert by 6:30 p.m. even though we weren't seated until 5:30. We had to wait 3 rounds for the elevator, so you should probably get there at least 15 minutes early to avoid being late. I prepaid for parking ($16.50) after seeing that someone paid $68 by parking day of. All in all it was a wonderful experience and I would go again just to see the sunset.

Do you want an awesome view but you're not a kid anymore so there are certain attractions that paying $30-$40 make no sense to you? Then visit the Signature Room and spend those $30-$40 in a few drinks as you watch the sunset or even less than that! You will not regret it. This was our favorite lounge in Chicago they have small plates if you get hungry or you can eat at the restaurant on 95th floor. We even got to watch the fire works from here! Really you will not regret it! Our drinks were never empty and we had an awesome time! Drinks are well priced considering the spectacular view they have beers, wine and cocktails! 👌

I liked it. The views are amazing, it is SO busy. We missed our check in time and didn't get the window seat as promised, but it's ok. I loved my steak. The drinks were good. Very classy, love the décor here. This is just a must do, for any special occasion or just to see lovely Chicago. You have to do this at least once.

It was a great experience. No cost to get in there and no dress code for the bar. We initially wanted to go to restaurant but my husband was wearing shorts so they didn’t take us. But it was still worth it. Drinks are nice , snacks are good.

A really nice restaurant up on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Tower. Dress code was something we were panicking about before hand because we didn’t want to appear over or under dressed. From what we saw it seemed like it generally was business casual. Food was great! Service was great too! Very accommodating to our needs, we came here for our anniversary and it was splendid. The only thing that was upsetting was the weather! It was foggy so we couldn’t see anything out the windows. By no means is that the restaurant fault we don’t blame them for that at all. If anything it gives us another reason to comeback in the future.

The wait for the elevator was quite long both going up and down. When you first enter, you overlook a beautiful restaurant with two story floor to ceiling windows. Lots of modern décor, mirrors and pristine white tablecloths. Then you walk to the lounge and it's like entering a dive bar from 60 years ago. The lounge definitely needs to be updated but people go for the views. I spent $41.48 including tax and tip for 2 cocktails and we left about 30 minutes later. The drinks were standard nothing great and the views are nice from the seats by the windows. If you plan on going to Chicago 360 then don't bother going to the Signature Room but if you aren't it's worth a visit.

First time here for our anniversary the food is very fresh so the dessert is delicious. Would highly recommend anyone like the upscale high floor vibe, however reservations must do as the restaurant is packed.

Restaurant located towards upper floors overlooking Chicago, providing an amazing scenic view. Entrance is located bottom floor lobby and you take an elevator to the restaurant entrance. The restaurant is dimly lit providing a scenic view of the lake and city skyline. You are greeted by receptionist and reservations are highly recommended. **WARNING** THIS SPOT HAS A VERY STRICT DRESS CODE. PLEASE BE SURE TO DRESS APPROPRIATELY BEFORE BEING TURNED AWAY AT THE DOOR, EVEN IF YOU HAVE RESERVATIONS. The bar area is located upstairs where you may be seated in front of large pane windows to oversee Chicago's beautiful city. On a work trip, we had reservations and showed up, luckily the group that entered showed in button ups, professional attire. One of our team members met up with us a little later, however, was turned away at the door for not wearing a collared shirt. He was wearing dress pants, dress shoes, and a nice sweater. He was not the only person turned away, when we first arrived, an older gentleman who was well dressed but had a sweater on was also turned away, even with a reservation, they will turn you away if you do not have a collared shirt. Now, given the situation, this did not effect the food aspect of my review. Let's just say we spent the week at different establishments for dinner every night, while the atmosphere was amazing and the view spectacular, this did not offset the food for cost compared to other locations. Dinner was OK. The receptionists were courteous and waiter was respectful. We had a fairly large group and I believe they did their best. The Bar side we were seated in, we witnessed people without collars and very disappointed with this spot. However Bar service was quick and courteous.

My husband and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary here and had a wonderful time! It may be important to note for those who have never visited, that you will need to wait to take the elevator up with a staff member, so I suggest arriving 10-15 minutes before your reservation time. Once arriving we were seated shortly and our evening was personalized with rose petals, wine my husband chose ahead of time, and personalized menus. Our waiter was unbelievably attentive and provided wonderful recommendations. We ordered dessert and were surprised with a lovely chocolate message and candle. The food was not anything significantly superior to other fine dining restaurants in Chicago but you’re paying for the view and quality service. Wonderful for special occasions.

We went to dinner for my birthday on the day after Labor Day and had a great experience. It was a Tuesday so not very busy. The view is amazing. We did this instead of paying to do the 360 view (which I heard is a floor above or below this restaurant). We had a reservation and were sat right away upon arrival. We got a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced for a nice restaurant. My mom got the seafood pasta and a side order of bread, I got the Miso Honey salmon with a side of mashed potatoes. For dessert we got the chocolate mousse cake and it came with a birthday message on the plate. The food was excellent. Our server Raul was kind and friendly. He took multiple pictures for us. The food came out quickly. We really enjoyed everything about the restaurant.

I can't recommend this restaurant anymore. I have been coming here on special occasions for years and my last visit this summer was such a disappointment. For my birthday I put in a 2 top window table request on my OpenTable reservation a month before coming and we checked about 15 minutes early. While speaking to the host manager he told me that "everyone wants a window table," I get it, I said "that's fine we would wait even if it pushed my reservation back to get the table we want." He called our table and sat us in the very back as far from the window as possible completely ignoring my request. I was already frustrated at this point then our server was not attentive to our needs and the food although tasty came out looking like it should be served in a cafeteria. I was not impressed. I watched other people getting the special occasion deserts and for MY BIRTHDAY I got nothing. By then I had written off ever coming back to this place. I paid my FINE and left.

So although this spot was highly recommend by many others, it wasn’t my favorite experience. We asked for special seating a month in advanced for our anniversary, however, it was not accommodated. We tried the Salmon, oysters, creamed corn and broccoli, but we only enjoyed the Salmon from everything we ate. The drinks were fairly okay, it’s a bit loud and crowded in the restaurant itself. People are always up and about trying to snap photos of the view.

This was our 1st time dining here. From the reservations to the service, everything was spot on. I planned our 1st wedding anniversary dinner here. I had great help from Kate on the customer service side of making sure to get something special done, custome writing on the menu for the occasion. Our server was amazing and our drinks were never empty. Not only that but the food was fantastic, from the appetizers to the soup and to the surf and turf. All cooked exactly how we requested and tasted amazing! Great work The Signature Room team, keep on being top tier! We look forward to coming back!

Second time coming here and i have to say: the food got improved a lot! We got Caesar salad, it was good we liked it, also we got the Sorghum glazed salmon perfectly done and tasty. Lastly, we got roasted rack of lamb with a side of fries and the lamb was my favouriteeee! so tender and juicy, loved it! 🤤 The atmosphere was calming, the view was amazing and it was an overall nice place.. Portions are small but tasty and that it is what’s important for me. Also, friendly staff and good service. I do recommend this place!

This was a cool spot. We got seated at an inner table, but still had a view of the city from the large windows. The service was good. The cocktails during dinner were not that great. I ordered an Old Fashioned and it was not very good. Tasted very generic and watered down; too sweet. Also got another berry drink and it tasted like pure simple sugar in a glass with a little alcohol; too sweet. We decided to forego the cocktails and try the wines. Wine was pretty good and paired well with our dinner. We ordered the steak and also the sword fish. Both tasted excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. The sword fish was light, but cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were good, but nothing special. Honestly just tasted like whipped powdered mashed potatoes. The scallops were good, but you only get 2 scallops. The bread was decent. The cocktail lounge here was pretty good though. The drinks were much better for some reason, maybe a new bartender had started their shift? The views from the lounge were great. Got seated at a window side table. The service was quick and friendly. This place is great for the wow factor and views. The food is good, nothing special. The drinks/cocktails could be better. I would recommend this spot though to try atleast once. The experience is pretty fun. I would recommend making reservations ahead of time.

A perfect way to catch the gorgeous views of the skyline, albeit not as easy to wander and take in various views as most of the windows have tables and they were very busy. The drinks were solid, nothing to write home about. But the experience is fantastic. The elevator ride was surprisingly quick which gave us a little vertigo, but nothing that wasn't shook off quickly.

Defiantly worth a brunch at the signature room! Brunch makes the prices more reasonable! Let me get into it! Food: Hands down worth every penny. The quality and the presentation are beautiful in every way. The taste was even more amazing. I personally liked the Risotto and my brother ordered the oysters! Simply amazing! Service: Unlike any other place I have been. How graceful the waiters and waitresses were made me feel even more confident. And they recommended dishes to use which was pleasant. Atmosphere: Or ambiance like I call it! The most beautiful view of down down as you sit near the widows. The decor matched every bit of the experience!

The Signature Room at the Hancock. There’s something to be said about a fine dining experience and the SR certainly hits everything you could hope for. Staff, food and atmosphere. Check check check. I’ll keep this review short and succinct. Get reservations early (weeks in advance.) Make sure your wallet is ready. Enjoy. It’s a must-see/do. Think about it as saving whatever money you’d spend at the Sears Tower anyway.

A wonderful place for a date night or celebration with breath-taking 360 views of Chicago from 95 floors in the air. There’s really nothing that compares to a dinner like this. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious and well worth the price tag. The staff was incredibly kind, taking note of and acknowledging and birthday, anniversaries, or other milestones. They were always offering to take pictures of customers and doing their best to accommodate their needs. The only opportunity here is the tight squeeze with the tables. Sometimes it can feel a bit tight with a lot of people dining in and servers running back and forth, but it is such a minor detail that I do not think takes away from the overall experience. Highly recommend you try this out at least once if you can!

Wonderful dining experience. Not to mention, the view of the city is absolutely stunning! Huge shoutout to the hostess, Joelle. He was super accommodating and was able to move us (my partner and I) to a window seat once all the guests were seated. Truly, I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. I will definitely be coming back the next time I'm in the city!

This place was amazing. The views are breathtaking! We had a dinner party here for my daughters 30th birthday. The seafood tower is Ahhhmazing!! The reasons for 4 stars are: entrees were okay but quantity and value made them feel very underwhelming. It’s a requirement for each person to order an entree but I suggest giving an amount minimum per person rather than entree per person and/or upgrade the entrees with size, taste, and more options. The other thing is that we did not expect to have a wait for the elevator. That should be on the website or stated when making reservations. Overall, it’s an amazing experience. Our waiters, especially Javier, were exceptional!! My daughter was thrilled and we had a great time.❤️
