The food was very good. I came in around 8:30 and ordered my steak medium. And congrats to the staff, they actually know what medium is and sent it out that way. I paired my meal with the gold mashed potatoes and a glass of red wine. Spot on and very satisfied. You are in Chicago and in a nice hotel so you will pay for the meal. I spent $62 with tip for one person but I was also very full and satisfied

The service was very good, the waitress was friendly and the staff was very fast with refills and bussing the dirty dishes. The prices were definitely high and while the portions were decent, the breakfast dishes a lot of the little extras that you'll find in most places. The Bourbon bacon and the sausage were great but $2 each on top of a $13 plate was a disappointment. $4 for a side of hashbrowns and $3 for 2 pieces of toast.

The most expensive Breakfast and the absolute worst experience I've ever had by far. How does a customer build their own omelette and that comes out wrong. Nothing I order was cooked the way I asked for it and the staff didn't care to fix it. I sent items back which never returned and the other items which were also wrong I just had to eat them, and trust me I was definitely charged for everything all though some of it I never received or tasted! I believe and I could be wrong, but because of its location in the McCormick place and the Hyatt they can care less about satisfying customers and building repeat business. Due to the Many visitors in and out of these two establishments. if I could I wouldn't give them a star period, let alone the third star. As a former restaurant owner this is the first time in my life, I left a restaurant without tipping!

I took pancake and it turned out to be bacon pancake. No mention no label of that. Then staff didn’t apologize either. Breakfast buffet was a big time disappointment.

Food is very good but service is very slow. Convenient if you’re staying in the hotel.

The service was very good in spite of getting there a little late for breakfast and the food was much better than the Marriott breakfast next door.

Gorgeous setting and good service. We had breakfast knowing it was pricey. And it lived up to the pricey. Food ordered from the menu was only of average quality, and that is being generous. The breakfast bar had a good variety of items, lots of choice, and a bit above average taste and quality. Probably won't eat here tomorrow morning even though we are staying McCormick place.

This place seems to have changed since some of the other reviews. It was $30 for the buffet, which was too high in my opinion. No prices listed, so we had no idea until we were seated and the waitress told us. Even though it was a buffet, drinks were brought directly to the table. And, there were custom omelettes, but you had to flag down a waitress to order and they were small and not too good. The buffet itself reminded me of a typical high-end hotel buffet, instead of a restaurant. Overall, disappointing. Would not recommend.

Just an over priced hotel breakfast buffet. Maybe it used to be something more.

Tina the chef and Tony provided above and beyond service. They were so friendly and helpful. They came to talk to us, asked us genuinely if we needed anything. They got us personalized omelette, and each a latte for Free. Well this was part of the international breakfast buffet. The ambience is fantastic. Beautiful big grand and super clean. The assortment of pastries 🥐, fruit 🍉 🍌 🍎 🍉 , lox and capers, bacon 🥓 eggs French toast. All so tasty. All of this for $24 buffet breakfast. Nice!
