I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT Myself and 8 other people visited this restaurant yesterday 3/3/22 to celebrate my sister birthday. The overall experience was terrible. First, when I arrived there was only 1 valet driver with a long line of people also waiting for valet. Secondly, the pork chops I ordered looked undercooked so I politely asked if can have it cooked more so that it’ll be well done. I also politely asked if my lobster Mac and cheese can be taken off because it was gummy and overcooked. As many restaurants that I have been to I’ve learned to never send food back (but you’ll see why in the photo below) I feel it’s a insult to the chef and you never know what a person may do to your food. But I wasn’t go to pay $50 for a undercooked pork chop and $30 for overcooked lobster Mac and cheese. The meat was cooked a little more and brought back out then a little bit later the general manager bought the Mac and cheese out in a bag for me take home. I told the manager that I didn’t want the Mac and cheese he replied very loudly in front of everyone “I know you didn’t want to pay for the Mac and cheese so I took it off your bill but I gave it to you anyway because there’s no point of wasting food” I was humiliated and asked to speak to manager not knowing he was the manager. The issue wasn’t that I couldn’t afford my food, I had already read the reviews and viewed the menu for this restaurant the night prior so I already knew what I wanted to order. I should not be talked down to and humiliated in front of the entire restaurant because the food wasn’t to my liking. The bill came out to $911 with a $25 cake cutting fee that no one mentioned to us. It’s a beautiful place to visit but the manager and the food is terrible. Nonetheless, my sisters and I did not enjoy our evening and it was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced especially coming from a manager.

BLVD Steakhouse is an exquisite American restaurant located in the West Loop of Chicago. As you enter the venue, it feels as if you're in a time machine, taking you back to the glitz and glamour of the 1920's with a sparkling ambience dripping in crystal chandeliers, black and metallic seating, dim lighting, and an alluring spiral staircase BLVD spares no expense on setting the tone for an elegant evening. The soft music in the background also assists with creating an experience to remember. Dinner was wonderful! It included: Grilled Octopus, The Crab Cake, Organic Half Chicken and German Chocolate Cake. The cocktail was Churchill's breakfast; my first time trying Scotch! Everything was flavorful, seasoned well, and delicious. The only thing I felt needed a little improvement was the presentation of each dish. I realize this doesn't matter to most people, however, I love all aspects of fine dining, to include culinary artistry by presenting the food in attractive and creative ways. Nonetheless, this does not take away from my overall experience and I genuinely enjoyed my visit. I would certainly recommend this establishment for a luxe evening on the town. Perfect for anniversaries, birthdays, dates, or just a night to enjoy delicious fare in a refined venue.

The ambiance was beautiful, including the music. The food was average. The service was not good at all. I ordered two drinks, a Caesar, crab cake, bone in ribeye, lobster Mac, corn, Brussels sprouts, and a desert. The ribeye (medium) was not hot or juicy which seemed as if it had no marbling. Lobster mac had more of a cream (watery)than cheese. Our server (Jessica) frequently stopped by the table and asked if things were okay. Two of the times i expressed that I was dissatisfied with an item, and both times she just walked away without offering any type of resolutions. I know gratuity is included but jeez! I had high hopes for this establishment , but I’ve never been able to overlook bad service. Especially with a $430 price tag attached to it.

For our anniversary I took my wife to this restaurant and we ordered two entrees, one starter, one side and a few drinks. The total was around $230. It was worth it. The service, especially by our waiter Gary, I was impeccable. I can't remember how many times they cleaned our table but it was a lot. The recommendations were great, the ambience was world class and the overall experience was better than anything we had in Hawaii. Just a caution, the food might run a little bit salty for some. But I'm not removing any stars because the experience was six stars by itself. If you're thinking of a date night or an intimate group dinner then look no further this is a place for you.

Compared to other steakhouses in Chicago I would not recommend BLVD. The ambiance is beautiful, everyone was very friendly (especially the hostess and the bussers and food runners), our server/the service we received definitely was lacking, the food overall was fine, nothing spectacular. The cocktails were a huge disappointment. I ordered an old fashioned with Bulleit, it was served in a dirty glass (which the bartender should have noticed), it was watered down, unpleasantly sweet, and missing a luxardo cherry - it was the quality I'd expect if someone ordered one from a dive bar...three others in my party ordered different cocktails and said theirs were not good either. By the end of the meal I was wishing we had gone to Swift & Sons or RPM Steak or Perry's where I've always had a flawless experience from start to finish, not only is the food phenomenal, but also the cocktails are made correctly and are amazing (and never once have I been given a dirty glass), not to mention the service is always impeccable. Nothing wrong with BLVD per say, but there are definitely better options for a steakhouse in my opinion. P. S. We told our server we were celebrating our friends birthday that evening and aside from a brief "oh happy birthday" acknowledgment, which seemed very non authentic, that was it - all he had to do was stick a candle in the dessert for her that we had ordered and that small gesture would have gone a long way. It's the little things that make for a memorable experience.

The Blvd offers a Unique and elegant atmosphere that will catch your eye instantly as you walk in. The ambiance is flattering. The soft music, the dim lights, and the candles give it the perfect romantic feel. The food on the other hand was just OK. There was nothing that made me go I can't wait to come back! Maybe it's just me, but when I spend 500.00 I wanna be like wow! This place is all for show and looks, if your looking for amazing food try somewhere else! Party of 5 we dined on! 8oz Rib Eye- If you don't kike Chargrilled flavor don't come here! My friend enjoyed it and it was cooked perfectly! risotto with asparagus- Very good! Nothing over the top average! The grouper- Cooked perfectly lacked seasoning! Lamb chops- Cooked perfectly, nice portion just no unique flavor Half of the chicken- Juicy yet tasteless Sides- Mash - Instant not from scratch Crab/Corn- Best Side on the menu Broccoli🥦 - Taken straight out of the field and added to a plate with no seasoning Mushrooms- Decent Mac and Cheese- If you like tasteless cheese this is for you!! Drinks range from 14.00-20.00 They will hack a service upcharge of 4% of the bill on your ticket and if you don't say anything you'll pay! When asked was told for Covid but yet never told at the beginning!! 👎 Overall 7/10 will not come again! I'm giving 4 stars because it was cute!!

Went here for dinner with family, and the decor inside was super romantic. Our waitress was fantastic and gave us recommendations. As you know I went with the old-fashioned cocktail, which was 8/10 well mixed and balanced. We ordered a few appetizers which were fantastic. Finally ordered the ribeye, which was just okay, when it should have been the star of the show. It was too charred and overcooked when I ordered it for medium temperature. Really this is the only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars. Other than that it's a nice restaurant in the west loop. Would go back again but try something different.

I was excited to try BLVD for my birthday dinner. I was mostly disappointed. I have to say the service of the staff was excellent⭐, but the food was not that great, especially considering the price. It was weird to me that they put pork on almost all the side dishes... Mac& Cheese, Cream Spinach, Twice Baked potatoes... excessive pork...that didn't improve the flavor profile 🤷🏾‍♂️. I had the 20oz Sirloin steak 🥩. I ordered it medium, it arrived well done with so much char on it I could not enjoy the flavor... all I could taste was burnt crusty char... very disappointed ☹️... I sent the steak 🔙. Desserts... the part that should make you the happiest, was sad 😢. I had the carrot cake, which was less remarkable than a slice I could get from Jewels or Mariano's... the frosting was platable, but the cake had no taste and was dry... carrot cakes should be moist and spiced... We also had the creme brulee which was tasteless and basic. Last year me and my friends went to Steak 48 for our birthday dinner and honestly they set the standard high for high end steakhouses, with an amazing steak, delicious desserts and excellent service. I talked about their steak for months and couldn't wait to go back... BLVD did not create that culinary experience and I would not go back.

Hands down best dining experience I have had in Chicago. I came in to celebrate myself and some big news but solo. I added that snippet on my reservation as I know solo diners might be annoying. Immediately when I came in someone was like oh I remember you, congratulations! How exciting on your news! That really set the tone for the night! Another manager came up to chat with me and congratulate me and share our experiences. My server Mark was unbelievable - super fun, passionate about what he does and the food, and just ON IT. The whole front of house staff were top notch, filling water, asking how things are and checking in, casually making me feel at ease. They could have easily sat me upstairs and out of sight but they really took care of me. Top it all off - the food! The special monkfish starter was so delicious and followed by best burger in Chicago. Thank you for an amazing experience, I will be singing your praises as much as I can. Thanks again!

Absolutely stunning restaurant in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. My friend and I came here after a spa day 🧖🏻‍♀️ as a last minute dinner booking and it was the perfect way to celebrate 🎉. Highly recommend for an anniversary, birthday, special occasion or just date night. I ordered the clams as an appetizer and we each got a drink. I got the Ferrari and my friend got one of the spirit-less drinks. We split the wagu steak 🥩 and truffle mac and cheese which was both yummy and very filling. Gorgeous place!

I made reservations for this restaurant while searching for a steak house to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. The gorgeous pictures of the main dining room caught my eye and after looking at the menu, made me decide to go with BLVD for our restaurant on the night of the celebration. Upon arrival, we were told we would be seated in the atrium. There are little to no photos of the atrium online so this took us off guard initially. The atrium room was very nice, don’t get me wrong. But then we were sat directly next to another couple. Despite there being other tables that the staff could’ve spread us out a bit more, we were directly next to another couple in a room that we were completely unexpecting. The staff was amazing and very friendly, but these unexpected surprises of our seating arrangements, especially after having a reservation and being excited to sit in the room with the gorgeous chandeliers, really disappointed us. To the point where we ended up ordering a drink and then venturing somewhere else to eat. They did still accommodate ice cream for the birthday and the drinks we had were delicious. I’m sure the food is good, too. We just were sadly disappointed with the experience that we had because it was not at all what we were expecting or planned for. We were expecting a more intimate dinner in the “main” dining room and were made to feel like an afterthought in the other room despite having a reservation. Again nothing against the staff and I really can’t speak for the food, just did not enjoy that experience

Went here for our anniversary and it was a lovely experience. My man originally booked for an upstairs dining experience, they didn't have it available anymore once we got there. It was a bummer but they did give us a beautiful booth to dine in. The house gave us complimentary champagne glass for our anniversary. The atmosphere was busy but not overwhelming. The drinks were refreshing and their bread was perfect. The salads we both had were superb and the entree course itself was delicious. Their chandelier in the middle of their restaurant is the star of the show. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful date night!

Mother's Day was very nice at this beautiful establishment. Delicious cuisine, great service, and you won't be disappointed with the drinks. My daughter and her boyfriend did well with this choice. I'll definitely share and return for a visit.

I was apprehensive at for bc the hostess was rude and dismissive but it got better. I went here for my birthday and my waiter was extremely kind and took amazing care of me, the food was delicious, the cocktails were great, and no detail was missed. Even the bathrooms (yes the bathrooms) were sexy and had a nice aesthetic to it!

Beautiful atmosphere. Nice place to take pictures and selfies. The food was okay. The broccoli side was just the stems. The steak, blackened salmon, and burger were good. The lobster mac and cheese and roasted corn were taken off the menu. I would suggest adding new and exciting cocktail drinks to the menu as well.

Me and my boyfriend came here for our anniversary dinner last night and had an amazing time. To begin, Kira (sorry if spelled wrong) the hostess really set the tone for service. She was absolutely wonderful and sweet. Our server Maggie was the same. Very detailed in explaining the menu. Very knowledgeable if we had any questions. She came over to check on us throughout the dinner and the food was amazing. Highly recommend

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Amazing food, amazing service and amazing atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

The atmosphere and service was amazing. My party and I were treated with the up most respect, paired with the beautiful atmosphere it was truly unforgettable. But for the food I wasn’t impressed. I got the bone marrow and it was not the best. I also got halibut and it was extremely salty. I tried the steak that my party ordered , they were good but fit my liking it wasn’t flavorful. I would say the best thing there was their strawberry cheesecake!! So creamy and delicious

Beautiful restaurant from the interior as well as outside. The hostess seated us promptly, amazing seating. They have valet it was $18 for the first 3 hours. We were there to celebrate a birthday. Little birthday treat for the birthday girl after dinner. The food was great. Tried a couple of appetizers and did steaks for the main course. The sides are made to be shared. Recommend the steak tartar. Added photos for reference.

To celebrate my sister's birthday, we came to this restaurant with excellent caviar service. The steak is a bit salty, but it's delicious. they also gave away birthday desserts. Believe me, you won't want to miss their restroom, which is perfect for taking photos

The steaks were very good, but the sides lacked flavor. The wine was fantastic, but we paid for it. Dinner for 3 was over $600. An 18% tip, tax and a 4% "inflation fee" was also included on the bill without warning.

This place is beautiful and so sexy. Very knowledgeable and experienced servers and the food...!!! Top notch the buttery, melt in your mouth flavor of the wagu is exceptional. The lobster tail with the thermidor topping. The corn and crab and Brussels were perfection. I will definitely be back.

This was a great experience. Went for my best friends birthday. The drinks were great, food was delicious seasoned perfectly, a nice birthday dessert that was tasty and should be on the menu and a nice dessert. Definately recommend for a celebratory dinner.

The French onion soup here was great. I would definitely recommend ordering the steak tartare. Overall experience was okay. The service was extremely slow on Saturday night. Waited 50 mins for a filet mignon to come out the kitchen.

When we walked up to check in and saw the design in this space is was like 😲 Very impressed The waiter was excellent, gave great recommendations. The food was amazing, rib eye cooked to perfection. Highly recommend desert. You cannot go wrong with the chocolate cake or key lime pie.
