I’m not one for crowds, so I didn’t speak a whole evening here. The place was pretty lively and everyone at all the tables seemed to be having a good time. Service wise, great! My waiter worked both the front door and my table ~ I don’t know how he did it all. He was stellar and always there when I needed him. How was the food? Fantastic. I asked for some substitutions and my waiter adapted everything perfectly. Would I come back? Definitely.

This was a google find, and it did not disappoint! The staff was friendly we were seated quickly and served fast! The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere was so relaxing. I really enjoyed the old pub theme we got a kick out of the picture in the bathroom where someone drew a mustache on Camilla 😂! The prices were also very reasonable. Our whole dinner plus a beer, dessert, and a tip was only a couple dollars more than the meal we bought at the field museum bistro! Great job, keep it up!

Downtown Chicago n needed a place 2 grab a bite 4 lunch, Came across this British style tavern. Very nice décor would havta say the bar was more of a British tavern style than others I've seen. The staff were very attentive and friendly place was pretty busy for a Thurs afternoon. The food came out quickly n was very hot n tasty I ordered bangers n mashed, was kinda hopin 2 get toad-in-the-hole so I also ordered a side of the Yorkshire pudding not a very large portion but definitely sufficient 2 go with the bangers n mashed If look'n 4 British food n fair this is a great lil pub would highly recommended!

Really delicious food! Stopped by for lunch and had a great time. The staff were all polite and professional. The food was all very delicious. And you can't go wrong with a good English themed restaurant.

A lucky find near the JW Marriott! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! They do a great job of hiring and training good people. We ate there twice and both times our server was top notch! As with many restaurants in the City, they get progressively noisy as they get busier. If that's a challenge for you then go a little earlier, between 5:00 and 6:00 so you can be out before it gets too noisy or busy. The bread pudding was scrumptious!

I’ll only give it a one star for the bartender. On Sunday 9/24 approximately at noon. I had a taste for a full English breakfast. I’ve only begun to eat about 90% of my food. Before my tooth met a disturbing metal object, found in the bean portion. I then proceeded to call the bartender over. He then said he will contact his manager. Which took about 15min. When the manager Chelsea arrived she was very nonchalant, distant and didn’t take responsibility. As my tooth was bleeding. I asked her for the object she tells me that she threw it away. That she doesn’t know where the object came from. No apologies, eye contact nothing. Her whole approach was nice nasty. I explained to her how much I was enjoying the meal until this unfortunate situation. How the camera was right there. Chelsea says with a smirk that the camera wasn’t pointing at me. I’m disappointed in the events that took place and the lack of accountability. Beware of eating here you may find something in your food too!!

This place was absolutely delicious! The British pub theme was nailed! Food was delicious and the beer selection was both authentic and unique. Quite possibly my new favorite place in the city!

The best part about this is that it’s open so late! Thé that I had was really good and it’s such a nice vibe to have a drink. They have TVs so u can go chill and eat and drink and watch a game. The staff were so friendly. It’s cool because the food is really good, semi-fancy, but the vibe is super chill!

What a great little restaurant slash pub. The staff was very friendly. Faye was our waitress and was SO nice and professional. They had $5 mimosas and $6 bloody Mary’s. The Bloody Mary was excellent. Had the perfect amount of spice. I got the grilled chicken club. The chicken and bacon had the perfect flavor and the fries had just the right amount of seasoning. This would be the place to eat at least once a week here. Will definitely come back here when I get back to Chicago.

Nice. Fish and chips are filling - no need for the extra fillet. Service was outstanding! Bathrooms did not have any paper towels to dry your hands. Desert was superb.

One of the rare places that caters to people who prefer healthier, “European”, if you will, breakfasts! Very lovely and much appreciated! The other meals are nice as well and there’s something for everyone, including gluten free options. I’d say, if you’re a picky eater like I am and don’t like fried food much, this is the place to go.

This pie flight is brilliant. It was my first time here and I felt like the pie flight gave me the diversity and was still filling. Waitress was attentive brought refills on the drinks, but also brought the check before I got a chance to order my bread pudding.

A group of us went to Elephant & Castle on Adam’s this evening for the first time and we had the absolute best time ever! Our amazing waitress, Ariana, was super kind, courteous, and quick even with how busy she was. The food & drinks were amazing. My friend and I bought our own entrees and had enough to split with each other, so the grilled cheese, poutine, deluxe burger, and sweet potato fries were perfect and filling. I hope to visit again when we’re back in the area. 😍

Stopped in for lunch and a pint. The beer selection was fairly good. We started with the mini sausage rolls, which came with a spicy mustard. These were delicious & seemed easy enough that we wondered why we hadn't made these at home ourselves. I had the bacon & blue cheese burger, subbing onion rings for the fries. It was fine, nothing too adventurous. My husband had the fish & chips. The fish was a large filet that was cooked well.

I was excited to come here because the vibes seemed cozy. It was for sure. Happy hour menu is very limited. Only wine and 3 types of beer. Picture posted of their happy hour menu. When I was seated it definitely took a while for someone to ask if I wanted to order something (15 mins?) so the service was a little slow. They were out of the Shock Top beer, which is what I really wanted - 5 bucks on happy hour. I asked the waitress since that was out, can it be substituted for something else that’s similar. She said No and that was a little disappointing. We had the fried pickles and sausages wrapped in a pastry puff. Can’t complain about that. Very tasty! I’d come back again especially if it was to meet people after work like yesterday was.

Service was a little slow, but the food was quite good. I was a little worried that the food would be a little too authentic, but it was very flavorful. I had the pie flight and each pie was great. The fish and chips were good too. The coleslaw was crisp and fresh. Decor was nice too.

I paid $2.5 extra for seasonal vegetables. This is not seasonal vegetables. The container is not even filled. It’s also uncooked. Also. I ordered a medium rare burger. Take a look at the photo, it’s just fully cooked. Why bother giving an option if it’s just gonna be fully cooked. Will not order again.

This place had some of the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. Bartender made me an excellent old fashioned. The place was clean and had a great selection of TVs to watch. I sat at the bar and the food came quickly and at a great temperature. I would highly suggest if you are a fan of fish and chips to grab a seat at the bar and enjoy! Thank you!

Unique selections, I'm not sure I've seen listed anywhere else and combinations I would have not considered had I not seen them on the menu. I ended up ordering the "slum dog" panko crusted hot dog with all sorts of accouterments including yogurt, naan bread, butter chicken sauce and more, fried pickles with dipping sauce, wurst wrapped in fried dough with curry ketchup, and a side of poutine and chips. Great adventure in eating.

I ordered takeout while staying at Club Quarters - the beef and mushroom pie, mashed potatoes, and the cheesecake. I was pretty disappointed and only took a couple bites of each item. The pie was so salty that I couldn’t eat it, the mashed potatoes were flavorless, and the cheesecake was lumpy/chunky, and had no flavor aside from the chocolate drizzle on top. There are so many good reviews, that maybe this was just an off day, but I don’t think I’d return. Good points - ordering online was quick and easy and the host was pleasant and helpful.

Excellent place to dinner (good option if you are looking for something to eat late night). Services was very good, place was not crowded and food was better than expected. Ordered one Grilled Chicken Club and one Bacon and Blue cheese burger. Both dishes were very tasty especially the cheese. Beers were ok and the atmosphere too with a lot of photos and decoration themed to the UK.

I go there before dinner rush. Fish was cooked to order. The waiter did a great job in guiding in beer selection. Mash had peals in it. Personal preference is no potato peels. Mash was also on the dry side.

I've had fish & chips, the big Ben brownie and eggs Benedict from here. they're a little on the pricey side, but we were staying in the hotel connected to it. the food was splendid, very flavorful and quality. super fresh food & wonderful, kind staff are the people you'll encounter.

Stopped in here on our Christmas trip to Chicago. Walking distance from River Hotel where we stayed. Had a drink at the bar before we ate dinner. Prices were reasonable, food was fantastic, wait staff very friendly and food came out right away and accurate. Atmosphere was beautiful. Definitely will return.

Good service, pretty.good food. I liked the salad quite a bit. Also had the mini pie flight. Never had British pies so not sure how to rate. Tasty but not my favorite. Maybe the shepherd pie but regular size?

Very nice Ambiance. We dined outdoors, and Denise took very good care of us. She was very attentive and happy, we loved that about her. Plus we have the same name lol. Now the salmon was a little bland for me , but I enjoyed the mash potatoes and green beans. The big brownie for dessert was delectable!!!! Overall👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

I have gone here three times, always for the fish and chips which is very good. If you're hungry, get the extra piece of fish. Good beer selection too.

Our server Shereen was impeccable. Very fast, friendly and checked up on us multiple times exactly when we needed something. Bus staff was excellent clearing our plates and bringing us a pitcher of water which was great because I was drinking an obnoxious amount of it. The food was awesome and a great alternative to the style of places we usually go. The patio was comfortable and inviting. I would give it a 7/3 if the scale only went up to three.
