What amazing view from all four sides of the building. The price is not cheap, especially if you add the tilt but it will be worth your money for sure. We went up about 45 min before the sunset. This was a perfect time. You can see the city and lake with daylight, watch a beautiful sunset over the city and then see the lights as it gets dark. The sunset reflecting off the lake was absolutely breathtaking. It was not crowded and could find window front views. The line to the elevator was long but moved quickly.

Back in 2009, I visited this spot and recently had the chance to share my thoughts. The panoramic view of Chicago from the 103rd level is truly remarkable. I skipped the thrill glass ride as it didn't seem too scary. Instead, I opted for a drink at the cloud bar—decent drinks and service, but the highlight is the stunning view. There's also a gift shop for those interested. Overall, a decent spot, especially for newcomers in town.

In my opinion, this is the best view of downtown chicago as well as the north shore and Lake Michigan. Mondays are tripod days and on all other days you will not be allowed to take your tripod up. The views are best during the 30 mins window before and after sunset. The ticket is currently at 30 usd but for 37 you can get a drink. Honestly the drink is very meh and not worth the additional 7 bucks. (I did buy the 37 usd ticket and try it). The “free drink “ menu at the bar is different from their actual cocktail and drinks menu. I would rather get an actual cocktail than the pretty much pointless “free drink”. But to each their own. 30 bucks is a bit expensive but that is what most viewing decks in other cities are charging these days. The tilt is an additional 7 usd. I did not do it as I figured there wasn't much adrenaline in tilting by a few degrees. There seems to be a mixed opinion. If you feel like you may miss out on something, I'd suggest you do it so you don't go away feeling bad about it. It's after all only 7 usd per person. But if you are a family of 4-5 then it can quickly add up to a significant number. There is some nice trivia on the city as well and there are touch screens to guide you (not accessible due to covid). The photos that you may see on Instagram with pink skies and fiery red skies are pretty deceptive. This is what it would look like to your eyes (the photos are captioned so you know what you are looking at). Have fun and enjoy the view. Definitely head up there if you haven’t and if you’re visiting Chicago, it is definitely worth putting this on your touristy list of things to do. You won’t regret it.

A must see attraction when you visit the city. As the name says you get a 360 degree views of the city and get spectacular pictures. The price is $35 per adult and this includes only the ascend and unlimited time. There's a package that includes a drink and also a tilt but I honestly didn't feel compelled to give it a try. Expect to spend at least an hour at the top as there are a lot of visitors and it is not that easy to get a clear picture shot. Some friends recommended to go to the Signature lounge but on Sundays it opens after 3 pm. Bathroom available upstairs

It’s a must see attraction when you’re in Chicago. You can look outside the windows for hours if you wanted to. The views at night are surreal. The Tilt was the only feature that was underwhelming but you should give it a try.

Not worth the price... The view is nice. But they manage the entry so bad it ruined everything. We pay for a slot but they never check your time ... we payed for 7pm and finally arrived at the top at 7.45pm.... you have to take a huge queue and only 1 of the 3 elevators were working. And the same queue to go down. That is crazy. Don't pay for the tilt, keep your money trust me. The view was nice, the experience a nightmare.

Had 7pm reservation. Crammed every inch of the elevator with a body, which was uncomfortable and not enjoyable at all. Reaching the top, lots of children, running around, and a bit difficult to get a view due to lots of people everywhere. We waited for about 20 minutes, so that we could squeeze in between others. View is amazing. In every direction, it's breathtaking. They had a DJ playing an it had a fun vibe. The Cloud deck was a great addition. Being able to feel the open air up that high was a bonus! They sanitized the Tilt between each group which was nice. Totally worth the view at night!! Would come again.

Definitely a must see the view with the water. The sunset just relaxing. The sky bar is a beautiful touch just to chill and wind down from the busy day.

Great experience! I had a short time in Chicago, and wanted to find something nice to do on my solo trip. 360 Chicago didn’t disappoint. The staff was nice the views were beautiful! I could stare out these windows all day. I ended up at cloud bar which has drinks only and minimal food, but the old fashion I had was well made. I’d recommend coming to 360 if you’re looking for something to do while in Chicago.

A great experience. The tilt platform is only $8 and it tilts you out in 3 progressive increments and looks cool. Definitely recommend, especially at the twilight hours

Nice 360 degree views from all around the 95th floor. The restaurant and souvenir shops are good as well. As for the Tilt attraction, it is not up to the hype. It falls short of the expectations. Firstly, it is too short of an experience.. (might be a minute to two at most). Secondly, the actual Tilt is not that much.. It should be at least 60 - 90 degrees to have some adventure and thrill aspect in it. Given the high prices and expensive photos, it doesn't just cut it.

I loved my experience. I went at night around 8 on a Sunday. I assumed it would be crowded but surprisingly there were very few people. Was it worth the 35$ (weekend)? Maybe not. But definitely worth going at least once and enjoying the amazing views. I did not do the tilt as it's 10$ for about 20-30 seconds of tilt at 30 degrees which feels like a gimmick to me.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! For sure a must visit while you are visiting Chicago or a long time resident! The price was very reasonable for the experience you receive! The views were spectacular and a beautiful sight to see. Highly recommend visiting during the evening hours, near sunset and well after and you can just watch the city glow! Bar is well stocked with many drink choices and a variety of beer and liquor to choose from! Overall exceptional experience and well worth the wait!

Absolutely a must-see in Chicago! This tower is pretty amazing. The entrance is pretty cool with all sorts of amazing Chicago facts on the walls. I love how the criss-cross beams that make up the structure are visible on the inside as well. We went on kind of a cloudy day, but even still the view of the city was awesome. Excellent viewing opportunities on each 4 sides of the building. There's even a bar if you want to get something to drink! We did the Tilt which was so fun, and freaky at the same time. I honestly was not expecting to tilt out as far as we did but that made it even more fun! 100% recommend everyone does it. A weird little oddity that was both terrifying and cool at the same time was the amount of spiders that make their up up that high on the building. A lot of the widows are just covered in them, and it's so strange since they're so high up, but was kind of neat. There's a wonderful gift shop with mostly reasonably priced items for your Chicago merchandise needs.

Spent four days in Chicago from the UK and this was the first place we went. What an amazing modern building that definitely stands out in the Chicago skyline. We went up the building about mid morning. The price to go up and for tilt are pretty reasonable. There weren't any queues as it was a Thursday, so we went straight up. It's amazing how quick the lift is to the 94th floor. The views are just spectacular! There are digital maps so you can zoom in and out and scroll around so you know what you're looking at. Tilt was fun. It makes you a bit nervous as you start to tilt out and face down, but it's definitely worth it. The staff are friendly, welcoming and happy go help. Definitely worth having a drink at the Cloud Bar while you relax and take in the views. I would definitely recommend visiting!

Fantastic lady at the front and helpful gentleman in the store. Great customer service there! Beautiful views all around the building. I went first thing so there wasn't much of a wait, just for the elevator because it has so many floors to climb. 😁 I really loved the tilt experience. I don't get scared but I actually felt my stomach turn upside down during the 2nd tilt. Such fun! If you buy the pics and/or video be prepared to wait 24 hours for the upload because of the app they use. Bonus: they offer a military discount on the entry fee. 👍 Thank you for that 360 Chicago.

Great view. It is a bit pricey, but the atmosphere is worth it. I did the visit with the drink ticket and it was fun. I spent about two hours up there. When it's dark out the city view is really incredible. I did not do Tilt, but it looked cool and was surprisingly affordable.

I think it is one of the best places that you can have elevated view of Chicago. I suggest to go there close to sunset, the view is awesome when it gets dark. It also has a tilt window, which you need to pay extra, but worth it. It also has a part as sky walk, where the don't have windows and you can feed the wind. I really enjoyed visiting this place.

Definitely recommend going half an hour before sunset. Tickets around that time sold out fast so I'd recommend buying in advance. The line wasn't so bad, it was a 5-10 minutes wait for me when I went on a Thursday evening. lt was so worth it! The sun setting down on the skylien is a magical moment. They have the bar ready if you want to watch the sunset and sip a drink or two.

Feb 2022 review - I loved the experience. I did the full package including the tilt and drink. I would say the tilt is not great, didn’t feel anything special. Otherwise the views are superb, you will get this 360 view of Chi only from here. If possible, book a time close to sunset, so you get both day and night views. @ajitho.photography for more pics

The observation deck on the 93rd level offers a mesmerizing panorama that transcends mere sightseeing. The breathtaking view, spanning cityscapes and natural wonders, instills a profound sense of awe. The meticulously designed space allows visitors to immerse themselves in the grandeur of the surroundings. From sunrise to sunset, the ever-changing hues paint a masterpiece in the sky, making the visit to this lofty vantage point an unforgettable and contemplative experience. (37.50 USD for general admission)

Overrated in my opinion. I did the cocktail and an view package. It listed it included a cocktail beer or wine on the page but no specific menu. When we went to choose it off the menu that was online we were given a different menu that wasn’t as nice. That would have been fine but would have been nice to have been specified. The bar itself didn’t appear as a bar it looked like a run down snack cafe. They used disposable cups and didn’t have much ‘bar’ area to sit at. The elevator ride was quick but shaky the whole way up and down. The interior seemed a little outdated. As far as the view itself, it was worth the price. You can see the city 360 degrees and it’s roomy enough that it didn’t feel overcrowded.

Even though visibility was limited, this was still absolutely worth the money! I purchase general admission ahead of time online, and had an amazing time. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming. The views are amazing, and the seating is ample for sitting and enjoying the view. On the way in, you walk through rooms with tons of Chicago facts and history. There are also tons of souvenir options. All in all, it’s a fun experience for any tourist.

Gorgeous view definitely recommend it; the night time view is absolutely stunning. The tilt itself was okay, not scary at all. The staff is super friendly. Drinks and souvenirs on the pricey side but to be expected. The elevators are fast so be prepared for some light ear pressure and popping. I recommend you buy tickets for activities through Go City and even better if you buy your go city tickets from Groupon.

Tickets are cheaper online than at the location. If you are active military or veteran, you get 10% off at site. Thereby your online or site pricing would be same i.e $90 for two adults (Tilt and View) tickets inclusive of taxes. The queue wasn’t that bad for the weekend compared to insane wait times at The Edge OR One World Observatory in NYC. The views are fantastic and experiencing Tilt is worth extra $10. City Pass doesn’t include Tilt. Washrooms are easily accessible and clean.

This is a neat thing to do, especially for first time Chicago visitors such as ourselves. I had high hopes for this, which is probably part of the reason I was a little disappointed. For $45 a person, it just didn’t live up to the hype. The view is beautiful and it is 360°, However the tilt thing wasn’t all that exciting, and only goes 30°, which means you’re barely tilted over the edge. I know for some people it is scary, but I think it needs to tilt over much more for people such as myself that want something more exciting. it also only lasts for about 20 or 30 seconds. I’m giving it 4 instead of 3 stars because of the beautiful view, clean environment, and plenty of space. All of the staff at the front desk on ground level and much of the staff for the elevators and in the observation deck are fairly inattentive and rude. In fact, the only staff member that I recall that smiled and was friendly and polite was the young girl that took our photo on the 1st floor.

It’s a good place for taking pictures. If you doesn’t have a good camera or lens I will recommend you to go to 96th floor, where you can get in with buying a drink without paying for a $30 ticket. If you want try their tilting window experience, that will cost you extra. But if you come to take pictures, this deck is better than 95/96 floor because it’s wide view and place to put your photography equipment.

It's pretty cool. These are the tiers of tickets available : GA access to see the 360. GA access to see the 360 and also get a drink to enjoy the view with. GA with just the tilt (5 min viewing pleasure of being tilted down and seeing the view below hanging out from the building - you hang on to the rails and there's a glass between you and 90 floors below. I think it's a thing you do it just once. However, a must for a tourist.) GA + tilt + drink

The 360 experience was quite great and expansive, even on a day with limited/no visibility. We saw clear views north of the Lincoln park, the Michigan lake and the navy pier, with cloudy views of the south side with buildings. There are tall chairs, where one can sip and watch the cars go by with views of the cement beach and the Lincoln park. Would advise booking tickets at least 2 days in advance, to prevent paying surge prices. The best time to visit is either in the afternoon, where the John Hancock tower casts long shadows or in the night, where one can watch the tinkling lights of the city. Worth the visit. Looking at the bird's eye view of the Chicago skyline is an amazing experience.

Amazing views, friendly staff and virtually no wait. The website says that Tilt is 2-3 minutes but in reality it was less than 60 seconds total. Still a fun experience but vastly over exaggerated on the time you get to spend tilted. Otherwise it's very organized up there, you make an appointment so there is little to no wait and everyone was friendly. Be aware that you will spend at least $30 on parking if you use the garage attached to the building.

Really great views but the design is not practical. They have stuck huge stickers on the windows and posters in places which obstruct the views, which makes no sense. Not the biggest viewing deck for $30 but still worth it for the unique views you get. You get to see the city, lake and the beaches.

Located on the 94th floor, downtown Chicago area. The views are amazing and the tilt was fun. They have a mini bar and beautiful areas to take pictures. You can not take pictures in the area where the tilt is at, but they have a photographer in the tilt room and downstairs. I paid 44 dollars for all pictures digital.. (they choose the background for you)

We walked straight in after buying tickets online, but we shouldn't have bothered as there was no queue. The views at the top were amazing, and as it was really quiet, we got a window table to enjoy our drinks while enjoying the view. The building has great views over Lake Michigan and the city surroundings. I had a go on the 'Tilt', but it was a bit disappointing; it was over very quickly and it was definitely a not-very-scary experience. It was not worth the $10. However, the 360 Chicago generally was worth the entry price, and I would definitely recommend it.

We unfortunately visited the city when it rained all weekend. But it cleared up at night so we did this at night time. During the day I think I would have hated it. They have such a long waiting area. I can't imagine waiting in that line But at night there was like no one here. We went up and saw the lights at night time and it was neat! So for us to have no wait and see the lights of the city was fun. You can walk the whole circle and there is a bar up there. But we felt like it was really over priced for what it was. We could have easily been done looking in the first 5 minutes. But we stretched it out to make sure we weren't missing anything since it was expensive.

It was very nice! Too bad the rooftop bar was under construction, but there was still a "bar area". Definitely download the app to view the history of the different buildings! We went on a Sunday and it was very crowded (I don't like large crowds) BUT there is plenty of space/places to sit/places to take pictures so it didn't feel crowded. Definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience even for a resident!

Great place for drinks (all the time) and dinner (special occassions). The Lounge is casual and has amazing views of the city. Get there right before the sun goes down and ypu get to see a great sunset and the city light up. Usually some great light fare there as well, but currently the kitchen is closed as they renovate the restaurant. The restaurant itself has great food, and although pricey - for a special occasion or a romantic evening out, it's tough to beat the view and the high end dining. I make this a stop every time I'm in Chicago.

Fantastic place to spend your holidays. Must visit spot in Chicago. Cool view from the top of 94th floor. The tilt floor is a unique experience but need to spend 10 bucks extra for entry and 15 bucks for the video (optional) and 12 photos 45 bucks (optional) or one photo 25bucks. If you go group of ppl you can choose the 12 photos. This place is still in my bucket list for one more visit.

Reach 94 floors in 40 seconds by elevator. Then walk out to stunning views of Chicago. You can also Tilt and see views from a whole new perspective. With an all access pass, you can get a free alcoholic drink on the observation deck. They take pics for purchase along the way. Also gift shops. Near the cheesecake factory and benihana.

What a view! It never gets old. We were fortunate it was a clear sky so you had unobstructed views of the water and the skyline. Part of the floor was under renovation so you couldn’t walk around the entire floor. We went early and during midweek, so no line up going up or down. Don’t forget to check out the 3D photo op on the outdoor balcony.

I've been to 360 Chicago at the top of the Hancock tower 4 times over several trips to Chicago with different groups of friends and family and it's definitely something I recommend to anyone traveling to Chicago. On a clear day or night the views of the city and Lake Michigan are amazing. There's a section you can walk out on that is open to the air (you are completely behind a screen) and feel the wind 94 stories up. For those who aren't afraid of heights make sure to do the Tilt where you get to lean forward and look down at the street!

Nice experience, the view is fantastic. The TILT I don't think was worth it. The line to go up was long but moving and going down was very long and slow since it looks like only one elevator was in use. We did the 9:30 pm reservation. They have a bar and places to sit and have a drink and enjoy the view.

You get a really great view of Chicago and Lake Michigan from the 94th floor of the John Hancock building. They offer drinks and snacks for purchase along with souvenirs. For a little bit extra you can do the Tilt attraction, which is a window that tilts you down towards the street. In my opinion, not worth the extra money. It is a bit expensive, but gives you some good photo opportunities.

Nice views, however, I absolutely hate the fact that you can’t take pictures at the sky deck and that you have to purchase them for like $50! Just be careful up there because they are pretty strict on using phones at specific locations of the site. Response: That’s not true. When I tried to take photos of my pictures that were taken inside the TILT. The staff prevented me from doing so in an attempt to buy them only.

Very cool site to see. Didn't realize we were at the highest building in the city to get that spectacular view. Just wish I could have done the Tilt, but the line was long, so I might come back and do it again.

So, place is not very organized. Seems like a great place for the views but a bit more staff would help with the crowds and awkward back n forth trying to figure it all out. Over all the experience was good, pictures on the deck are phenomenal 🤟❤️

Absolutely loved the experience. We went during to the night to witness the Chicago night Lights. It cost 45$ for entry+tilt to the 360 Chicago view. I been to both the 360 Chicago tilt and Skydeck, but I guess I liked the 360 Chicago tilt a little better.

Beautiful views, great experience! Recommend to go if it’s your first time in Chicago. Read the history and enjoy the cloud bar and views of the city.

360 Chicago has one of the best views of lake and city combined. I visited it during afternoon and got to see best of both stone and water. For first time I do recommend getting the tilt experience it is worth the adrenaline rush and you get to see the downtown from a different angle 📐.

Very cool experience, highly recommend if you are visiting for a day! We had tickets for a Sunday in July at 8:30pm which was perfect - we got to see the city in the daylight while the sun was setting, by the end of our visit the city was lit up. Very beautiful. I like that you could look out all sides of the building as well to see all the different views.

Great views and great vibes. Close to all of the downtown action. TILT is fun and unique. The staff are friendly, efficient, and coordinated. Little to no wait to get on the elevator up or down. Organized and intuitive.
