YOU MUST DO THIS! This Escape Game company is certainly one of the best! We got hooked from the first room and we just have to finish all 5 rooms. All the rooms are technologically advanced, challenging and the puzzles just make sense. Our favorite room is The Heist, but Prison Break is also very interesting. Special shout out to Michael and Cody for an awesome experience. Michael is very accommodating and considerate (one time one of our players can’t make it and he gave us store credit - this actually made us book two more adventures right after the game). Cody is cool and fun. Everyone is just so nice! The Chicago experience is made better by the Escape Game. Definitely a must do!!!

Escape Game is the best escape experience! This was our third visit. We escaped from Mars after successfully restoring our oxygen, communication and power supplies and arrived safely back on earth. Great for teens through adults. Our group of seven was just the perfect size for problem solving and teamwork. The sets and the story are incredible. Highly recommend it!

The escape room experience was fantastic, especially for our first time. We did the prison escape, and Julian was our game master. He not only welcomed us in, but afterward, he took photos for us and debriefed our escape, which was a great way to cool down. Julian was our deciding factor to do a second game, as he made our experience so enjoyable. When we go back home to our own state, we will be visiting our own Escape Game location.

One of the best escape companies. We have done all of their rooms at several locations. For this one the gold rush is the highlight. The prison break is always a favorite. But you got to go in with someone you trust!

The Gold standard of Escape Games!! 3 couples - 3 games - because we loved it so much!! We booked 1 game and was offered a discount for a 2nd game on the same day and then after the 2nd game we got better discount for 3rd game in the same day. Why did we do 3 games in one day? Because the level of detail, the creativity of the puzzles , and the challenge of critical thinking skills that was required. This is not your ordinary, run of the mill escape game. There are multiple rooms, hidden surprises and even some items that are just hidden in plain site. The staff was just amazing and they really paid attention to us. The puzzles in each game were different and unique. They aligned very well with the theme. We felt like we were the only ones in the place even though it was very busy. One of the challenges that we had was trying to connect the different items/ codes/ sequences to solve the puzzles. We are thankful for the 3 free hints. It saved us when we hit a wall. I’m from Ohio and drove to Chicago with some friends just to do this escape game and ended up doing 3! If you’re in the area or planning a trip to Chicago, this is an experience your will not forget. You will not be disappointed. You are immersed in the story and embody the character your supposed to play! Thank you escape game staff for an awesome and amazing experience.

Evening well spent trying to crack code! Eli was a great host and explained the scope of the game well. The skill difficulty was accurate and engaging for all participants. Would recommend for anyone.

This place is incredible and Sophia is the best! She did a great job of explaining our scenario and even showed us some of the other rooms when we finished. The room design and puzzles are clever without being frustrating. We'll definitely go back next time we're in town.

We love doing games with this company. We've done them in other cities and Chicago is just as great! We did the Special Ops game, lots of fun puzzles to figure out. Nathan was awesome at giving us just enough help to be able to get out, which we did with time to spare! Everyone should make this place a stop whether from out of town like us or locals. Been to tens of escape rooms in Chicago area, this one can be ranked top two. No hassle check in, rooms are well designed. The puzzles are reasonable, the logic makes sense. Enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Came to our first Escape Game experience and were nothing less than thrilled. Michael at the front desk made sure we were informed and had a great time. 10/10 would recommend. If you go to this location definitely ask for Michael. People like him make fun experiences like this enjoyable

The host Matt was amazing. He welcomed us and was very helpful with explaining the game. His personality is perfect for the host position and he was very kind as well. Michael was amazing as the game guide. He gave us clues when we needed them and guided us along the journey. He was also very patient and kind. Even though we were not very good at the game, he made us feel as if we had done an amazing job! I would recommend this game to others!

What a great time - our group was small (3 people) so we were partnered up with a family of five. I thought it might be a little weird and awkward to pair up with people we don't know but I couldn't be more wrong! I was there with two 10 year old boys and the group we were with had three boys (ages maybe 10 to 14?). The room (we did the mysterious market) was fantastic with a cool twist at the end - very challenging but not so hard we felt like giving up. Also, we *all* (grown ups AND kids) worked together and made it out with just 3 minutes to spare! If you're worried about whether or not it's too expensive, we all agree it was worth every penny and we're looking forward to when we can return and try another room!

This was the best escape room I’ve ever been too, we did the gold rush room and it was great! There are a total of 3 rooms you go through and all were very well done. This was mommy my second escape room but I brought my son (12) and it was his first time. There were 2 other people in our room who I could tell were really into it and were definitely knowledgeable about what to look for so that helped a lot! It was definitely a cool experience and I’d highly recommend :)

What a fun night it is when you are escaping from prison. You do a lot of thinking, looking for clues and most of all communicating with each other cause your goal is to escape and you need to work together.

I booked this spot for my friend's bachelorette outing and we all had an amazing time! The staff was so kind from booking over the phone to our room host! They even went above and beyond and decorated wedding props for our celebration. Lastly, they gifted my friend a self care box and a t-shirt on the house to celebrate her special day! This was my first time here and I cannot wait to go back with my family. I highly recommend this place!!

I visited for the first time on New Year's Eve as part of a wedding party. I would not change anything about the experience! 60 minutes was a challenging amount of time to try and solve the puzzles we encountered. Everyone was able to get involved, and it was definitely never a solo game. Our game leader Sara was awesome!!!! I dont remember anyone elses names, but the man who checked us in at the front was super friendly and efficient. We're already talking about when we will come back!

We had such a blast! Sophia was super helpful and friendly, giving hints only when we really needed it. We did The Heist which was really immersive with great details. We will definitely come back to try other rooms!

Fantastic.Fun.Interactive.Amazing.Thankful.Blessed. We experienced our first escape, Prison Break, and had the best time ever. We were placed in a room with 5 other energetic folks. The team (staff) created the experience that will make us think twice about going to any other escape room. From the time we entered to the kindness to ensure we made it to Union Station to catch our train warrants more than 5 starts! We will return!

Loved it like always :) just finished our 3rd game. Update: We did two other rooms in the same night. In total this evening we did Mission: Mars, Gold Rush, and Prison Break. Yesterday we did The Heist. IT WAS AMAZING from all the staff to the game play. Bittersweet finishing all the games at this location because the accomplishment is great but we will miss the staff. Completed all 5 games at escape game and enjoyed it all! Was such a good time. For my last 3 rooms, my group did it all in one evening and had Peyton as our guide. He was great and friendly! He even went the extra mile to show us their appreciation!

Dynamic David was an exceptional game leader. He was supportive, fun, engagement, and matched our energy to a T!!!! Seriously he was the absolute best and was able to elucidate clues to us without giving it all away. A truly great person who made ameliorated the whole experience to an excellent time!!!

My cousins brought this place up because we were supposed to go with my brother last year. Unfortunately he passed away so we had to go without him. Well I told this story to the staff and not only did they make sure we had an amazing special experience AND give store credit for what he initially paid for, they got us flowers for my brother who couldn’t make it. I had such a great time with my friends and the staff made the experience even better. I felt comfortable and welcome from the time we walked through the doors. We enjoyed it so much that we signed up for a second escape room right after we finished our first one! We ended up doing The Heist and Prison Break. Michael was an amazing host!

It was very well designed escape room. Welcoming people. Good engagement for teens and adults. We went to the Gold Rush room, medium difficulty. We were able to solve the room very last mins. Lol. I would go there again for other rooms in the future.

Karly was the best game guide ever!!! Everyone loved the puzzles and insisted on not getting clues. I get very anxious and Karly was very accommodating to that! (Thx Karly) The front desk person who checked us in was also awesome (don’t remember name- so sorry!!) It was just a great time and it was my partners birthday and they all made it so special!!

So much fun! Great activity with older kids. We had a blast, and our guide Peyton was really awesome! Definitely recommend! Edit: Okay, we had so much fun that we went back for a second night! Ace welcomed us and remembered us from the prior visit and David was such a great guide for us as we took on The Heist. Both nights were top-notch fun for both the adults and kids in our group. We are already planning to come back the next time that we are in town!

Really really love this place! My husband and I played all the games here. Very cool puzzles and designs of each room. Can't define which room is my favorite - all great! Very grateful to Ace, Julie, Brandon, and Michael for being great room masters. Thank you for the sweet gift upon completion of all the rooms. 🥰 We will come back for more rooms once opened and will do The Escape Game rooms in other US cities as well. You all are fantastic!!!

I had the most amazing time with my friends doing the Heist escape room, we escaped with only 1 second on the clock! Sophia was our game attendant and she was so kind and helpful throughout the experience and was absolutely hilarious. We had made a comment about one of the hints “Why couldn’t it have been cookies!!”, and were greeted by Nathan at the door with cookies as a reward for winning which was so sweet!! I would definitely do this again, and I will be recommending this to anyone looking for something fun to do in Chicago!!

We had a blast in The Heist room! I took the 10 and 11 year old I nanny, and we were paired with the nicest couple. The room was incredibly detailed, well thought out, and just challenging enough. Will was the employee in charge of our room and he timed our hints perfectly! He also took plenty of pictures for us after, too. Can’t say enough positive things about him and our experience!

The staff is so nice! It was my groups first escape room and they were more than happy to give us (an embarrassing amount) of extra clues! They were excited they were our first escape room experience. Definitely would like to go back to do the other challenges. The Mars room was insanely fun and a great challenge

The escape game is absolutely phenomenal. The first time I came here was for a team building event, however, I returned last weekend for my birthday. Ren was an incredible game host for our first game. Because the staff knew it was for a birthday, they gave me a card. Julian who was at the front desk also let us pick out a few items as a birthday gift. I can't wait to return here!

This place is fantastic. Took a family trip to Mars, and had to work our way back to planet earth. The layout and challenges of the game are both extremely well thought out. The level of difficulty is set up in a manor that a great time will be had by all, and can be completed by any group regardless of skill level. Ask for Dynamic Dave, great mission leader, and guide to mars and back. He gave us helpful hints with out giving away the fun of solving the game. Would highly recommend for family , business team building, or a night out with friends. Will return.

Really great experience. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The escape rooms are really immersive. We did the space mission room and had a phenomenal time. We escaped with a lil less than 6 minutes left on the clock. There's great surprises and mystery. Really a well done escape room.

We had an incredible experience at The Escape Game. We were in town from NC celebrating our 4 year anniversary. Our game guide was Julian and he was fantastic. We came close to completing the heist room but still had a ton of fun. The room was well thought out and definitely took brain power and team work. The staff even wrote us a sweet card and gave us gift cards to try them out again at a location closer to home. We would absolutely recommend!

Peyton was the man. No one else like him. He helped guide us to an awesome escape. Peyton was nice and funny. Good job Peyton, I’ll be back. Thanks again Peyton.

Fantastic. We did The Heist first, it was a group of 4 of us. And man, without giving away any spoilers it was an absolute blast from beginning to end. We did beat it, with 54 seconds left. 2/4 it was their first ever escape room. In fact, we had so much fun we bought Gold Rush as soon as we were done (There's an instant replay discount). Gold Rush was just as fun, but slightly easier, we had 8 and a half minutes left. I'd recommend doing Gold Rush first, for first timers. But both of them are multi-room. They allow a maximum of 8 players, but honestly that seems like a lot. 3-5 seems like the perfect sized group for this stuff. Destani and Peyton were fantastic as our guides. Didn't give us hints when we didn't need them and even when they gave us hints, they were vague enough to where we still had to think for sometime before getting the correct "answer" to the puzzle. Highly highly recommend it.

Great experience! As a team building activity with coworkers, it was a great way to get out of the office and do something non-work-related and have a great time! Zak was also a great guide throughout the experience! He made sure we didn’t waste too much time on stuff we already used for clues, and when I asked a silly question about the other team from our office, he totally humored me. I loved it, and I think the rest of our team/office did, too! Would totally recommend others try it, and I’ll definitely go back and check out other rooms!

Izzy welcomed me and my partner so warmly. It was a very good vibe right when we walked in. Went here for me and my partners 2 year anniversary. Mission to mars was high tech. You get one hr to find power, oxygen and communication. Zak was our helper during this trip to mars and helped when he knew we were struggling. unlimited about of hints and he was nice enough to give us extra time! They also gave us a nice card for our anniversary! will be coming back!

Absolutely loved it! We did museum heist and gold rush in one night. There was a surprise card and balloons that all of the game masters signed for our 1st wedding anniversary in our second room. 10/10 will brag about this forever.

Colby was the most wonderful part of our experience! He gave us clues inside The Heist room and brought my son a card signed by the entire staff. It was the sweetest thing! I had such a great experience that I’m coming back next week. Also, the people at the register in the store are some of the kindest people I have ever met. I’m truly grateful for this experience. I thought I was going to need Google, but turns out nope! My son and I got out of the room with three minutes to spare. Thank you all for being so wonderful to us! 🙌🏾

We had the BEST time doing this escape room! We had a group of 8 that included four kids ages 5 to 14 and the Gold Rush room was great for them! Patrice was our guide and she was great at explaining the game and guiding us, without giving too much away. The energy of the employees was so great and the facility was really nice. The puzzles were challenging and surprising and we had so much fun!

Had such a great experience tonight playing both special ops and mission Mars. Tabitha, Marty, Pat were all great! There was also a guy that sold me and my partner T-shirt’s, but I can’t remember his name. Everyone was super super friendly! The rooms are incredible. Can’t wait to visit a new Escape Game where there’s a room I haven’t done!

Emma and Lucas (the workers) were so great and enthusiastic. They made the whole experience fun and efficient. We did the heist and it was AMAZING! Shout out to the group who did it with us. The whole experience was great 10/10 would recommend.

Had a great experience at The Escape Game! We did the Mission Mars experience and we were initially a bit hesitant because it was described as a digital experience. But really it was like the difference between new Disney rides and old Disney rides. The Mars escape room had digital elements that enhanced the overall escape room experience, not detract from it. Also Miranda "Houston" was a really good host. The only feedback I have is that the room was a bit small for 8 people.

Sara was awesome!!! We made it through with her help and our thinking brains!!! Definitely want to come back for one of the other ones.

I had the most wonderful birthday! I’ve never experienced an escape room before and kind’ve dreaded doing one since my sister and her family in France said they’ve never been able to escape. However, I forgot she said that it was really fun, exciting and all about having a great time! I had the best time with my sister and we had the most awesome guide and clue giver in Sophia. She was so cool, full of energy and just wonderful. We couldn’t have finished “The Heist” with just two seconds to spare without her subtle hints. Who knows what “Vincent Hahn” would’ve done to us upon his return. After we made are exit, Sophia greeted us at the door congratulating us. She spoke about the other escape rooms, took our pictures holding the “real” Monet and the staff signed my postcard with each adding little personal messages wishing me a Happy Birthday & complimenting our youthful spirit.
