Probably the highlight of our Chicago trip, Biggie Blue Eyes absolutely nailed his role as our guide for the tour. What can I say about this guy, he was fantastic! Witty, funny, knowledgeable and believable - his accent and lingo sounded super authentic - at least to us out-of-towners! He paced the tour really well and managed a perfect balance between being informative and being entertaining, if you have even the slightest interest in the darker, grimier side of Chicago's history this tour is a must-do. The merchandise available at the end of the tour isn't just tacky, touristy rubbish either. We bought a book with stories and pictures that more deeply covered much of the stuff we saw and heard on the tour which was a great souvenir from this leg of our trip to go with the photos Biggie was so kind and patient to humour us all by taking. This tour was brilliant, very highly recommended.

If you are into Mob history, this tour is fun and interesting. Our tour guides were Shoulders and Slippery Sloop. They go out of there way to give you lots of historical information and make you laugh to ensure you have a good time. You get to drive around and see some of the old sites where the old prohibition gangs used to hang out and where certain crimes happened. Of course, being that the gangs operated during the 20s, some of the old sites are gone. It is also a nice tour around the city. Overall, these guys give you a lot of information and strive to help you have a good time, remember to tip your tour guides!

great tour guide, great stops, great driving, great views. If youre plus sized, please be aware that the bus is super compact. I had to put my butt in people's space to get through and it was super uncomfortable.

Took our tour on 11/10/23 however I cannot recall our tour guide’s name. She was quite great and was very knowledgeable about the era; but at the same time talking and current history in the city as well. Plus the raffle was great and not just because I won the grand prize!

My wife and I really enjoyed this tour - the bus had very comfortable seats and was air conditioned and it lasted about 1.5 hours, taking us all around Chicago. The tour guide (I forget her name) was dressed like a 1920's flapper girl and really got into character - she was funny in a great cheesy way and very informative! We stopped at multiple spots and while the tour was focused on gangster/outlaw history of the city, we also learned about general history of the city too which was great. They even had a prize draw for two prizes - a mug and a shot glass (great souvenirs if you win!). The tour started right on time and overall was extremely well done. One thing to note is that you aren't dropped off at the same spot it starts from - so that's just something to keep in mind when planning your day. Highly recommend it for the wealth of info you'll pick up as well as the excellent tour guide - thanks!

Terrific place to rent bikes! Cheapest rates on Fisherman's Wharf. Use their online reservation and save even more. Ian was a fountain of information. We were new at this and made it easily to Sausalito with great directions. We had a teenager & two old people in the group. We will be back and will definitely rent from San Francisco Bike Rentals.

Gangster tour with a side of comedy. You do not get off the bus during the tour, you remain seated inside the bus the entire time. My advice, sit on the LEFT side (the driver side of the bus) so that you can get a good view of the bullet hole in the Holy Name Cathedral wall and a good view of the Biograph Theater. This way, you can get good photos of the top 2 locations of the tour without heads/people in your way. The tour guide was wrong about the Chicago fire being caused by a cow. Even the Chicago History Museum has disproven that claim (check the museum's exhibit). Stop spreading fake news.

Great tour to learn some interesting facts about crime and some of its infamous history in Chicago. Cool photo ops along the way. The seating can be a little tight but it's perfect for those vertically challenged. The tour guide was great, high energy, cheesy humor and great storytelling.

At first, we weren't sure of taking this tour, but we are so glad we did. It was a fantastic tour, and we had a wonderful tour guide, Biggie Blue Eyes. He was funny, entertaining and full of Chicago history. We appreciate his humor, experience and knowledge. He engaged with everyone on the tour. We learned so much about the original gangsters like the infamous Al Capone, Dion O'Banion, John Dillinger, George "Bugs" Moran, and "Diamond Jim" Colosimo and many more. We have heard and watched movies about these incredible characters, but to see the places they lived and made history is a treat. I highly recommend this tour especially with Biggie Blue Eyes as a your guide. The bonus is you get to learn about various neighborhoods in Chicago, like Chinatown, Lincoln Park, and Pilsen. He will also point wonderful landmarks within the city.

He was also very positive about Chicago, and wanted everyone to enjoy their stay in the city. We learned a lot about Chicago's history and we loved every second of it! Not what we had expected. Guide knew a lot and was personable. Wasn’t super exciting and felt like it was kinda blah. On and off for photo ops would have been better

The tour was the fun. The guides dress in the ganster style and give theatrical versions of the stories. An open top bus would be great.

I did this tour to fill in time after a flight had been cancelled, it was worth it. An entertaining way of telling the prohibition era gangster antics. It’s also great winter tour because you are in the bus the whole time, you get to see parts of Chicago that you may not otherwise have gone to.
