Location was great! My wife and I had a few days at the end of a business trip there. It was close to the pier, the shopping district and of course the canals! The rooms were clean and well furnished. The lobby was fantastic with a restaurant/bar area. Food and drinks were great but atmosphere was just ok We didn’t park there so cannot comment on that. I would definitely stay here again!

What a fun hotel. This place has an amazing vibe. It feels modern, yet upscale at the same time. I have not stayed here as a guest but I have grabbed drinks in their lobby & coffee at their Starbucks. The lobby is A+ if you enjoy people watching as much as I do. I give this place a 5⭐️ Jerry the pigeon gives it a 5.5⭐️ (lots of ledges to perch on!)

First time staying here for a conference. Wonderful staff. Clean rooms. Comfy bed. The atmosphere at the bar in the lounge is upscale and lively. I was here for a conference, and would highly recommend staying here. Great little coffee shop in the hotel, right when you get off the elevator to start the day!

Loews continues to uphold its reputation. This specific location is situated between the river and is conveniently within walking distance of many attractions. The room was impeccably clean, with a smart layout for closets and the bed. The bathroom was spacious and well-stocked. My only wish was that the rooftop lounge were actually on the roof and had longer opening hours. Overall, it was a beautiful and luxurious experience.

Julian at the front desk was incredibly kind. I had a minor issue, and he was very patient listening to me. Everything else has been great. Rooms are very nice, great views and lighting. Perfect location. Easy to check in. Modern lobby that distributes people efficiently and avoids crowding even during the busiest holiday seasons.

Very plush room, upmarket atmosphere. Staff was professional and accommodating. Important to note if you are driving, there is no garage attached to the hotel. I highly recommend the valet option with the rooms. It is easily a 1/3 mile or more from the garage to the lobby and depending on the weather/time of day it can be stressful. I had a corner room so great views of the city. I wasn’t high enough for lake views but I will be sure to do that next time. Very nice gym and pool which weren’t too crowded at 7:30 am. It was only breakfast, but the restaurant in the hotel was good.

Great location. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Love everything about this place expect all the fees. Daily destination fees and parking rates well above the average for Chicago add up quickly and can cause the cost of your stay to balloon. I was told that, "you get the destination fee back" through credits that can be applied for dining, room service, or other incidentals, but my bill didn't reflect any credits. Will consider them again for the convenient location, but will also explore other options in the area with less fees.

Great location and staff! We got a suite that could fit 5 of us which was comfortable. Everything was clean, staff was cheerful, and helpful. Loved that there was a Starbucks in the hotel. Gym and pool were great. My kids liked that there were pets allowed so we could pet them when we saw them in the lobby. Couldn't ask for more.

This place requires a re-evaluation of all my previous reviews. Everywhere else I've stayed just dropped a star because Loews Hotel just raised the bar! Everything here is TOP notch! Rooms are beautiful and staff go out of their way to ensure that the stay is perfect. The views are amazing as was the food catered for the conference I attended. I can only hope to stay here again since Chicago is outside if my general travel routes.

I stayed here for a quick turnaround trip. I will admit that there are three reasons for the five star review. The first and the most significant factor was Chanel at the front desk. I checked in at midnight on a Friday night and Chanel’s customer service was stellar. She is the primary reason that I will return to this hotel. The shade in the room is the second reason. Thank love how dark I was able to keep the room. Third reason is I simply couldn’t find anything to complain about.

The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay at the hotel. The amenities were great. Comfortable beds, clean hotel, and a fabulous indoor pool. The staff again did everything they could to accommodate us and make sure we had a great experience at the hotel.

I just love this hotel! It’s in an awesome location, it’s downtown right by the river and ten minutes from the Navy Pier. You really can’t beat the location. Staff is very nice and helpful. I loved how housekeeping gave us fresh towels everyday. I can’t speak on how the bar or the restaurant here is since I ventured out to other bars and restaurants. We had a corner room and the view was magnificent! When I come visit Chicago again I will definitely stay here again.

True Dog Friendly Hotel! Very clean, well managed and maintained. The most professional front desk I have seen in years. Absolutely amazing experience. Highly recommend for family and four leg friends stay.

Overall a beautiful hotel and wonderful visit. Love the For 5 Coffee venue option in the early morning, the croissants are on point! Also a special call out to the staff/bartender behind the ETA Bar, so friendly, patient, accommodating - wonderful service. Increase the heat in the pool and we would definitely return!

Great hotel, great location, great staff, great rooms. We reserved a room with a lake view so that we could watch the fireworks on NYE but were told they didn't have the availability when we arrived. The front staff upgraded us to a higher floor with a city view but not the same. But overall, a quality experience with exceptional service and quality rooms for a reasonable price. We plan to return again next year. I originally selected Loews for the gym and pool and they did not disappoint! Wonderful facilities with 2 peleton bikes and lap pool. Wish they had a few hours reserved for lap swimming. Lots of kids in the pool when we were there. Overall, a great hotel!

I had a 4 night stay and my room was very pleasant. The WiFi was acceptable - it's always a gripe I have about hotels; I generally don't pay to upgrade because I can't tell the difference. The housekeeping was top notch and the staff accommodating. You can walk to many locations and taxis are readily available. The restaurant off the lobby is a good quality. The bar in the lobby offers a pleasant casual dining option as well. Don't be shocked by the prices for dining - it is in line with all the hotels of a similar quality in the city. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again

Excellent stay for my bachelor trip. The Lakeview suite was a more than accommodating size with phenomenal panoramic views of the city, lake, and river. You can’t beat the central location being minutes away from the riverfront and great restaurants. My biggest takeaway from the stay was our OUTSTANDING concierge, Natalia. She provided five star service well before my check in day and throughout the trip; making the best restaurant/bar suggestions (getting us in last minute), incredibly responsive, friendly, and even personally picked up a gift so my friend (that wasn’t able to attend) could avoid a courier charge. I cannot wait to stay at Loews again whenever I return to Chicago.

The Loews Chicago Hotel was a perfect venue to host our wedding celebration! Our wedding guests RAVED about the venue, staff, and food! The hotel is beautiful, clean, has stunning rooftop views, and the staff went out of their way to make sure they were meeting all of our guests needs. We worked with Sondra, and she was very responsive to all of our questions and requests. I would 1000% recommend the Loews for your next wedding or event!!

The Loews hotel was fabulous...great location on the Chicago River. We were literally a few blocks from everything. The hotel is fresh and modern with an amazing roof top bar!! It was buzzing every night. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were spacious. I would stay in the Loews again.

Absolutely AMAZING! There were so many hotel options in Chicago, but luckily we booked at the Loews Chicago Hotel. Everything from the customer service, views, amenities, rooms, to the pristine nature of the hotel made the experience so worthwhile. The rooms were awesome and the views……not even describable. Booking at this hotel is the best decision you could possible make when booking in Chicago, it can’t get any better!

I recently worked with Loews Chicago Hotel as a vendor to celebrate a wedding reception. Loews was absolutely WONDERFUL. The staff went above and beyond throughout the night. The Front Desk was anticipating me and was fully prepared for the evening. The Security Team unlocked and opened the right areas and helped me move from the loading dock to the ballroom. The Banquet Team worked with me on the timeline, communication, and keeping the event's energy up. The Audio/Video team (who was not even working in the event) stopped by twice to make sure everything I brought was working correctly and provided assistance with an intricate setup. From the moment I arrived until I left, it was clear that Loews team was complete professionals and communicated well with each other. No detail was forgotten or left unaddressed, which made my night much easier. The room was beautiful, food was delicious, and the party went off without any issues. Truly -- I could not be more pleased with the experience with Loews. Very much looking forward to celebrating with them again soon.

Very nice hotel. Location is perfect. One thing I didn't like was the so-called 29 dollar "destination fee" they are charging without giving me the option not to take it. You can use it towards Uber and food but I didn't end up using it but they still charge you. Also it would be nice if they had microwaves in the room. Instead there is one in the hallway. I would also love it if they provided breakfast but they don't.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience here. We booked through Hotel Tonight and although there was a slight miscommunication up front, Hotel Management mitigated it quickly and assured our stay to be an absolute blessing! SUPER friendly staff, clean rooms with great views, close to the Mag Mile but sitting far enough back to have more of a residential experience than tourist...it was the perfect stay. Not to mention the Christmas books they have available for children's bedtime stories this season....! 10/10!

I really really loved and enjoyed my stay here. The staff was extremely attentive, check in and check out was very quick (less than 5 mins). They even had water available for guests during the Chicago heat wave that occurred in August, which was a nice touch. Our room was very clean and the pillows were super soft. We had no issues and we had a very relaxing stay. If we ever visit Chicago again I'd definitely choose Loews as my first option.

We stayed on a Saturday night and I have to just say one thing - Amazing!!!! One of the cleanest hotels I have been in. The feel inside is great and wonderful staff to boot. And believe me, it is worth it to get a Grand Corner Room. We opted for the City Side and views were breathtaking. We enjoyed it so much I think we are going to book for 2 days next month. Highly recommended!!

From the moment we checked-into the hotel until the moment we checked-out, the level of service was excellent! We felt like we were treated with a higher level of service than expected. The room, lobby, and gym were well furnished. The gym layout is cramped when there is more than a couple people using the weights, but the variety of equipment, esp. for a hotel, was great.

Great location for sightseeing across the city. This hotel is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We were lucky to get a room with a good view of the downtown and a sliver of the river. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. Michael took wonderful care of us at the bar and restaurant. Drinks and food were very good at the bar and outdoor restaurant.

I was recently stayed at the Loews Chicago Hotel for an office conference and was very pleased with the staff and accommodations. I would like to thank Janet in the kitchen/clean up staff especially. I left my tumbler in the 3rd floor terrace tent and by the time I remembered it, they were already cleaning up and it was gone. She found it for me and brought it downstairs where I was waiting for our next conference session. She was very kind and went above and beyond. Thanks so much!

We stayed at the Loews over the Chicago marathon and had a wonderful experience. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and even left a certificate and cookies in the room acknowledging my race! The room was very clean and modern, with a gorgeous shower and bathroom. Location is ideal and walking distance to so many great things! Would definitely stay again.

Always a pleasant stay at the Loews. This was my second time staying here and everything is always perfect. Friendly staff who are willing to go above and beyond. The hotel is Super Clean and well maintained. Rooms are spacious and sleek. Amazing views. Only thing is I wanted to visit the rooftop bar, but I guess it closed early that night. Which is fine because I made a good friend at another bar. Lobby bar was a little crowded so I skipped out. Overall, the best hotel experience while in Chicago is at the Loews. They treat you with respect and accommodate your needs! I also received a coupon for uber, and local events upon check in. I didn’t use but it was a nice touch. Thanks to everyone at the Loews for making this a pleasant stay!

The rooms were superb clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The service was exceptional as well They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They allowed us to check out late. So this was a big plus. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chicago. 100/100!!

We had a wonderful stay at Loews Chicago Hotel beginning with check-in all the way through check-out. Luis made us feel like very special guests and truly made our stay exceptional. The room was superb as was the hotel itself. Absolutely wonderful! Every member of the staff we encountered at the hotel was friendly, customer service focused, and professional. Just delightful! We look forward to staying the next time we are in Chicago!

Excellent hotel! The staff was great, they made sure our requests were met (thank you 😊), and were always friendly. The room was a perfect size and the bathroom was also spacious. And the bed was SO comfy!!! I almost spent an entire day just lazing around and was happy to do so! We'll definitely stay here again when visiting Chicago.

This hotel deserves 5+ stars! We had a wonderful stay. My husband and I stayed with our toddler at the hotel, we booked a suite which was the perfect size for a family. It is modern, clean and well maintained. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. The hotel is very family friendly and our toddler enjoyed the stay as well. The staff are all friendly, accommodating and exceptionally courteous, and they made our stay so comfortable. The ladies at the concierge desk were very sweet and friendly to our toddler, which we really appreciated. The hotel location is central and walking distance to landmarks. There is a Starbucks in the lobby which was convenient. We will definitely stay here again!

I had never stayed with one of these locations before, so I'm glad that our organization picked this for our hotel block. The location lives up to the reputation. The interior is well designed, and contains some modern features in addition to some classic details. There is a restaurant in a Starbucks inside, once you check your parking, you can come in and out of the lot which was huge for us, and it is right across from a number of really key locations at the University of Chicago which we were visiting. If I need to be back in the area again, I would definitely consider returning. The staff is also super friendly considering we showed up close to midnight.

We made reservations way in advance and still didn’t get a room of our choice. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. I wish my bathroom had a tub but I think most rooms in that hotel don’t have a bathtub. Very friendly and professional staff. A great place to spend New Year’s Eve and enjoy the hotels restaurant. The food and drinks were very tasty.

This is a nice hotel, I have no complaints from the room to the service to the location. I often stay at the Four Seasons because it's beautiful. But I had a conference here... Let's just say that now I see that there's no need to pay Four Seasons prices, when you have an enjoyable more laid back experience right here at Loews. While there are a few minor perks with staying at the Four Seasons it's not worth it really. At Loews. upon entering the lobby area you almost automatically feel like taking a seat and just hanging out. It's just very inviting. Everyone is professional (the staff and guests) The hotel is clean and well cared for, it's modern. Definitely a quality hotel and I will search for this brand in my future travels.

Outstanding hotel! Clean and comfortable rooms. Outstanding service from check in to check out. A special shout out to Gwen who is the concierge at the hotel. She helped with planning and made a booking for us. She was extremely friendly and our group looked forward to seeing her in the morning and starting our day on the right foot. Positive energy!

First-rate in every way. This place is posh without being pretentious, and its artwork and decor celebrate Chicago. The staffers go out of their way to make guests feel welcomed and appreciated. Our first contact, a man at the front desk, voluntarily upgraded us to a bigger room with more beds and a better lake view. Checking out, a different front desk clerk voluntarily extended our checkout time and comped us access to the pool for the rest of the day. In between, everything was similarly wonderful.

I've always had good luck with Loews hotels, they are always clean & comfy, while still being stylish. The beds were amazingly comfortable, sound is well controlled. The staff are great, very friendly, always helpful. We loved our stay and I would stay there again. It's also well situated to roam Chicago.

Beautiful hotel. Everyone was so friendly, from the valet to the concierge. It is the best experience while staying in Chicago. Pretty close to stores, restaurants, and all the tourist sites. They have an excellent coffee shop with the best almond croissants. Do not hesitate to book your next stay, you won't be disappointed.

Great hotel to stay in while visiting Chicago. Walking distance to shopping, dining, and night life. The hotel itself was very clean from the inside out. The room was extremely comfortable. The bed, pillows, cover, and the robe were all like clouds. Had great restful sleep!
