The food was ok. I had the hot meatloaf. The potatoes, gravy & sourdough bread were good. I'm iffy on the meatloaf. It was definitely not what I was expecting. The pie though? Excellent!! I'd go back just for the pie. The waitress was great & it did have a nice atmosphere.

Disappointed …..We did enjoy our server but nothing else would make us want to go back. Two of us ate lunch and it was $50! We eat out every day of the week as we travel for work. This was one of the most expensive and disappointing we’ve ever had. Two pieces of pie waters to drink and two entrees for $50? Worse yet the portions were mediocre at best. The clientele seemly was older so I think the foods blandness might be because of that but man oh man we wasted our money…. If it was a cheap ole dinner maybe it would’ve been better but if you wanna spend money like your eating prime rib at a supper club and only get the portions and flavor you’d expect from the deli counter at piggly wiggly then it’s perfect for you…

Wonderful pies with so many choices made from scratch. Roast beef and gravy tasted like comfort food.

We both ordered the more traditional Norwegian dishes. He had potato pancakes. I had the Smelt wrap. All the wraps come in lefske. We had a slice of apple lingonberry pie for dessert. I really appreciated the sign on the door that they were short handed and there’d be a wait. Plus they had a bunch of tables marked off so the staff wasn’t overwhelmed. Made so much sense!

Great place for pies/baked items. We had breakfast with friends and it wasn't a great experience with service or food. I’d give 4/5 stars for the baked items-just wish their menu items were similar in quality.

If they didn't have their wide selection of pies this would just be another diner. One that served bland Norwegian fare. Too light on the creativity, salt, and freshness. That being said older people and kids probably love it for this reason. For example my father ordered a dish centering around a thick slice of ham... Even the pie wasn't too fresh with a dry stale crumble and slightly gummy fruit filling. It could be better without driving up cost.

Great service and the lefse stuffed with meatballs is my favorite.....and ANY and EVERY pie!🥧

Worth the wait There's a wait when you go. Clean restaurant.Great food. Good customer service. Reasonable prices. Great gift shop and definitely delicious jams and pies.
