Nice place, typical spanish venue. The food is good quality, prompt service, nice people. Right price for the good quality food, wines and beers as well. Gluten free food available, suitable in case of coeliac disease.

Huge fan of Tapas restaurants, Spanish food and style of small shareable dishes. Great interior design! Ordered bunch of different dishes, potatoes were good just needed some sauce on the top. Bacon wrapped dates is something you will like when you try, it's outstanding! Goat cheese in tomato sauce is always the most favourite dish on the table, so complex and great combination with toasted bread. Octopus was fresh and cooked god, but calamari we didn't care, chewy a bit and sauce wasn't our taste. But all in all it's great experience and everyone should try Tapas! Great journey from Evanston to Barcelona!

I would definitely recommend this Spanish restaurant. There waiters were nice end when we were going to order let us know that the portions are smaller but cheep. They do that so you can try more than one. The food was extremely good. I would say some of the best. It’s a bit more expensive but it’s totally worth the money.

Loved our dinner here. We only had to wait 10 minutes to get a table on the lovely little patio. Servers were great, and brought out our food and drinks very quickly. We had 4 tapas and they were delicious. My only complaint was the Patatas Bravas were not the crispy kind, which is just my own taste. The portions are pretty typical tapas sizes, but I think about the best price-quantity ratio you're going to get in the Chicago area. Our 4 little plates were sufficient for two of us to feel moderately full (though I could have eaten 6 more).

My friend invited me to join her for dinner at this restaurant. From the minute we walked in, I fell in love with the atmosphere! The food was great to taste, and the drinks were on point! The service was excellent as well. They even put nine plates on our table!! Thank you so much to everyone who created this Amazing experience. I would be delighted to come back!

I ate at Tapas Barcelona with 7 old friends, and our large party of 8 gave us the ability to order a barrage of tapas and experience two of the strengths of this wonderful restaurant - a bold, talented kitchen and the warm hospitality of the servers. The moment we walked in the door, I knew we’d be well taken care of when the hostess greeted us, and then then manager joined in to quickly accommodate our party of 6 that unexpectedly turned into 8. Everything we ordered was delicious and well-proportioned - the gambas al ajillo, pollo al whiskey, croquetas de queso, patatas bravas, queso de cabra con tostadas, datiles a la sevillana, Paella Valenciana, pincho de salomillo, filete con patatas, pulpito a la plancha, salmón con esparagos, flan, crema catalana, and bizcocho borracho. No exaggeration - every dish we ordered was outstanding and served up by a team of servers that made us feel “at home.” Highly recommended!

The restaurant is huge and a lot of people overflowing during evening. The food is good quality. I liked their pasta and chicken and also tilapia fish. The mashed potatoes are tasty too!

So, so good! I forgot our waitresses name, she was amazing, and attentive, despite all the other tables she had. The bacon wrapped dates were so yummy, I had a second order. Will definitely return!

This place was amazing! We had a party of 13 & Miguel took such great care of us. Love the family style eating. The sangria was incredible, the pitcher was on the other side of the table & Miguel made sure my glass was full. I definitely plan to return when I get back to the Chicago area.

Very disappointed. We went to celebrate father's Day there because we had been there before and we liked it. This time it was not a good experience.Something changed for the worst. Food was Mediocre and tasteless Sangria very watery Overall none of the Six family members had a good experience We won't be coming back.

Im sure this place has great food but unfortunately I may never get to find out! I've tried to eat here on multiple occasions but you won't be able to unless you get a reservation. As far as reservations go, I called this afternoon with specific details about how many people and what date/time I wanted a reservation for. A couple hours later they returned my call to confirm that they would be able to accommodate that reservation. Just as I was confirming the date and time over the phone, they rescinded, stating that the reservation they were offering had been filled just 20 minutes earlier. Curious.....

We came for a friend birthday dinner celebration, we enjoyed a lot! The food were delicious!  I especially loved the seafood paella, steak and lamb The sangria was incredible, i keep drinking and I didn’t taste any alcohol until too late lol The waiters were nice Depend on where your table, it can be a little tight or roomy lol Parking is a hit or miss, no parking lot you will need to find street parking! Would definitely recommend this Spanish restaurant!

We enjoyed our lunch. The beet salad and bacon wrapped dates were the best. The avocado crab could have had a bit more crab. Service was awesome. We also liked the tortilla Espanola. Plenty of bread in advance

We got grilled octopus and grilled squid for tapas, and they were tasty with fun crunchy bits. The disappointment came with the paella catalana (seafood) as the flavor could have been deeper, and it did not have socarrat. I had called ahead and requested specifically asking for socarrat, but when the dish came, no luck.

It was hot and humid. We asked to be seated inside. The front doors were wide open. The temperature in the restaurant was uncomfortable. We had not been here in at least 10 years. The food was good and the flan excellent.

Perfect day to sit outside for some tapas. Favorites: Chipirones a la plancha (grilled squid with lemon, garlic, and olive oil) if you like lemon, it is very lemony but delicious. Queso de cabra con tomate (baked goat cheese in tomato sauce and garlic bread) perfect. Datiles a la sevillana (dates wrapped in bacon with red pepper sauce) INSANE. Who knew bacon and dates could be such a combo and that’s coming from someone who is not a fan of dates. My absolute FAVORITE: dessert. The Platano con caramelo y helado. Oh my heavens, it is one of the best desserts I have ever had. It’s magical. Not a single one of the tapas we ordered were any less than 5/5 but you have to try the ones we enjoyed the most. I can’t wait to show some friends this place, the food is delicious!!!!

Amazing service and super tasty food! Truly recommend this place if you are looking to taste real Spanish cuisine. In this restaurant, the best way is to order lots of small bites and share them so you can try different flavors. The sangria was delicious! Thank you for such a good time.
