After eating here I’m surprised this spot doesn’t have 5 stars! Everything about this place blew my mind! Our server, Alejandro, was super friendly and on top of everything! There were many good options on the menu, but of course I just had to try their stuffed crépes. 🤩I’ve never had a better crepe in my life, and I’ve tried MANY. It was warm and fluffy and their creamy cheese sauce was so good. If your in Chicago this is definitely the spot to go!

Decent brunch spot on wells. Got the ruben and the caesar wrap. both were good but the chicken noodle soup was the star of the show. I would come back to try more of the traditional brunch / breakfast options! they don’t take reservations but the wait was pretty quick!

This place was fun overall but I didn't really enjoy my meal. I thought it was very basic brunch food without any amazing flavors or styles. The standout, however, was the delicious chocolate cake we got on a whim! I'd go back for that definitely.

Lots of energy on a weekend morning! Came here with some friends and the wait wasn’t too long. The club was A+. Plenty of fries to go around.

Fantastic place! I live in Michigan and found this place online and decided to check it out. My son and I opted for breakfast though it was 1:30pm. Super fast service and delicious food. Best blueberry pancakes I've ever had! My son said it was the best omelet he's ever had. The menu options were great. We were both very satisfied from start to finish and would return again. The place was packed which speaks for itself. We parked in a nearby garage and walked there. Thank you Nookies for a great establishment and keep up the good work!

Probably the nicest neighborhood diner. Really great menu items. The music selection is well chosen classic jazz. Because of the atmosphere and the music I noticed many people stayed after their meal in deep discussions because it's such a comfortable cozy place. Unfortunately they stop serving dinner because of covid. But breakfast and lunch are absolutely top shelf.

Tried takeout once and it was just okay so we decided to dine in this time. They have lots of options on their menu and service is good. The house salad was very simple, the veggies were unevenly chopped and the cucumbers were mushy and going bad (they did give me a new salad once I complained about the cucumbers). The salad dressing was very good. The Amsterdam burger with garden patty was very mediocre - I think the patty is just store bought and I don’t think mine had garlic and herbs like the menu says. The chilaquiles were good overall but the rice was a bit bland. The hashbrowns were very sad and unseasoned

Nice selection of breakfast/brunch and lunch classics. Nothing too creative in terms of flavor profiles, but very much classic comfort overall (especially the soup). It feels like a traditional diner but slightly more upscale and cleaner - which is a pleasant vibe. Staff is very attentive and helpful.

Decent breakfast items and okay hash browns. The hot chocolate could be a little warmer and a little less sweet, but good nevertheless! A nice atmosphere for a weekend brunch, especially Saturdays! Looking forward to trying more items on the menu soon!

Great breakfast or American brunch place. Large portions, friendly service and delicious food. Highly recommend coming through if you're in the area. Note that it can get quite busy!

Here in Chicago on vacation and this has got to be my favorite place so far. Steak and eggs was amazing and so were the Crêpes. Very great service and atmosphere

Came for breakfast and it didn’t disappoint! I had the goat cheese omelette and added bacon in and it was amazing!! My boyfriend had the waffles with strawberries and ate every bite. Staff was so friendly and accommodating!

Got there and it was packed as one would expect for a Sunday as beautiful as this Sunday. They took our name and within 10 minutes we were seated. In ten minutes the waitress came took our order and we had our coffees in no time. Just as we're we're waiting a refill on our coffees the food came and it was amazing. The chilaquiles were great and the beans and rice were very filling. The Belgium waffle was sooooo fluffy and delicious. We both got hash browns and gosh those were so flavorful.

Apart from the service, I loved this place. We needed a place that had outdoor patio since we had a pup with us. Was able to get a table outside without any wait. Love the area on the side under the trees. It took forever for us server to come and take our order. He seemed not familiar with the menu at all. The food came super later as well. I had the Chicken Piccata with soup and side of onion rings and mash potatoes. The food was actually nice. One of my friends ordered pasta and it came out bland though.

The most uninspired, boring, flavorless Eggs Benedict I've ever had. I've gotten better tasting sausage gravy from a can, the hashbrown had no seasoning (or even salt for that matter), and the biscuits it all sat upon were small and, well, simply there, adding nothing to the dish. Sure, the eggs were cooked right, but they didn't even have paprika or anything on top. I'd skip this place and go to any of the numerous other breakfast spots nearby.

Nice patio to sit and enjoy the morning. But that's about it. The breakfast was a bit burned and too much salty. Definitely overpriced for what you get. Potatoes were half burned half undercooked.

Enjoyed the patio area. Seated fairly quickly. Waitress very knowledgeable of the menu and attentive.

The patio is beautiful, but I thought the lunch was lacking. I’ll be back to try breakfast, but I didn’t think the hype matched reality. If you’re looking forward to the additional side of soup with your frisco sandwich like I was, make sure to press for it - mine never came.

Definitely recommend! Wonderful food! Wonderful service! Large portions. I'm from out of town, will definitely go there if I'm ever visiting again.

Besty is a sunshine! I think finding this restaurant was the best that happened in Chicago! The daily soup is AMAZING and the service is like being at home. If you come here you will leave with your stomach and heart full🤍 Thank you Besty for making us feel good in Chicago! We will come back for sure😊

It was so packed when I got there but they got us in super quickly. I was amazed to see how the huge the inside was, as the outside gives off quaint breakfast place vibes. My group got some omelettes, waffles, and the seasonal trio pancakes. Omelettes were good I cannot complain; however, the fall trio pancakes tasted terrible. There was something about the texture which was cornbread reminiscent. I could get through the first two (the one at the bottom and the middle) but my table could not finish the last one (the top one). It just was not good. In the pictures, the summer trio looked super good so I hope to be back in the summer to try that!

Easy carry out over the phone order. Monte cristo and sweet potato fries, mesclun salad and Cole slaw. All very good. Good portion of meat on sandwich but fries soggy as in metal/plastics container for carry out. Looks like cute place to eat with outdoor seating

Service was excellent, as well as the food. I had the Spanish Omelette with Hashbrown, with Sourdough Toast. It was absolutely phenomenal, one of the best Omelettes I've had in a very long time. I really like this place so much and everything was really perfect

Short wait on Sunday for brunch, but we were seated sooner than quoted time. Service was excellent and attentive. Good was delicious and great value. Very homey feel; we will definitely return!

Don't walk, RUN to Nookies! This is my favorite brunch spot in the world. Their chicken noodle soup is the best I've ever had!

The best gluten free pancakes I have ever had. I absolutely love the hint of cinnamon in them. Great prices and huge portions

Awesome brunch! We stopped here the other morning and had a great experience. The space is really big with multiple rooms so we didn’t have to make a reservation or wait thankfully. The service was fantastic and very friendly. I had the chocolate chip pancakes with a side of ham (both delicious). They also have iced coffee and cold brew options, perfect for a hot summer day!

We're from out of town and Nookie in Edgewater was our favorite place to eat . Now that its closed we will frequent OLD T. Large portion of food, nice atmosphere and service was great. Parking is a challenge but the location is beautiful to walk in so overlook that part.

Great brunch spot in a good location. My friend and I had brunch here at the start of September, weather was great so we ate outside. The restaurant has large indoor facilities. Staff are friendly, and food was good. portions are good too. Filled me up for the day. Will return.
