Really enjoyed this place. Felt like being treated at a neighbor's house . 3 of our party ordered the NY Strip prepared differently (temp and toppings) while the other member got salmon. We also had 2 kids order off the kid menu (chicken strips and grilled chicken). I wish I remembered the servers name cause he was the absolute best (dinner on 10/17). They got absolutely slammed and he was still cool and collected. He handled it well and was very personable. He made us laugh and feel right at home. It was just great service. The steak which were all ordered to different temps were all cooked correctly. Everyone cleaned their plates and we even got a slice of chocolate cake for our birthday boy to enjoy later that evening. Thanks for the great experience and meal. Our server said this would be just like a home cooked meal without us having to do the grilling or the dishes and in that we were not disappointed. In fact I'd say the food was even better than that.

Great service at the bar area and good wine selection. Seated at a nice booth in the kitchen area. Service was bad at our table as we had to keep asking for water since the glasses are very small. When we left, we noticed most tables had a pitcher of water. Steaks were great with a smoky, rustic flavor. We had to send one back because it was undercooked and then it was great. Very upsetting that a table for two had mandatory 18% tip added to the bill. Be aware. Dinner for two, no appetizers, one glass of wine, salads and steaks. Nearly $175.

BE CAREFUL!!! My entire experience was good until we received the bill. They are forcefully taking 18% tip! This is very bad practice as we have budgets on our business trips. Look at other reviews with this concern, management is NOT doing anything about it. I loved everything about this place until receiving the bill. We came in, we were greeted by a friendly lady, we didn't have a reservation but we waited only for 5 minutes and I received a text message that they're ready. Our server Jerome was the best server I've seen in Chicago for this one 1 week we were here. He is very personable and always asking if we need anything as he walks by. Manager, GIVE HIM A RAISE!!! Although not much seafood options, but whatever we had tasted amazing! Manager, please add more seafood please, people are looking at healthier options these days. WE WILL NOT COME BACK HERE ONLY BECAUSE OF FORCEFULLY CHARGING US TIPS.

We had our best dine-in experience here and it was one I'll never forget. The food was amazing, and their burgers were better than my own fathers! The Vanilla Cheese Cake had a beautiful look and an even better taste. But the true topper on this cake had to be our waiter. Don gave us such amazing hospitality along with everyone else's cooperation. I would like to thank Don and everyone there for this amazing experience! And I can't wait to visit again!! Than you again, Hunter

I visited this restaurant during my trip to Chicago. The restaurant is perfectly located in downtown, near Michigan Ave and is very easy to find. The staff is great, patient, and with excellent service skills. Their suggestions are always accepted and appreciated. No waiting time even without reservation due to their capacity. The food had a good presentation and was delicious. I really enjoyed my time there. The prices was affordable and not expensive based on the quality of their delivered service. Totally worth it. I do recommend this restaurant.

Enjoyed the most delightful dinner! Our waiter had a fantastic personality - he made great recommendations and was so attentive. The food was outstanding! We couldn’t have been happier.

First time dining with my wife for her birthday. I had the Beer can chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and she had the BBQ meatloaf, garlic mashed potatoes and side salad. All the food was excellent! Will definitely go back again real soon!

Very mediocre, I’ve heard of this establishment before so my expectations were high. They’re known for their steaks and it was just not it. The food was not hot. I got the ribeye with mash potatoes and both were warm temperature. Our waiter was up to his elbows with tables. Did his best to be present and attentive. Shout out to Jerome our waiter for giving his all! Overall my first time there and my last.

First visit to Webber Grill and let me tell you, our waiter Mahjoub made our visit. Service was on point. Our drinks were brought out fast, with great recommendations. Steak bites, salon, and rubs were fire, 10 out of 10, must stop

Great food and service. Prices are ok, and the atmosphere is good. Good for the entire family, a little price but it is good. In a really good location in downtown Chicago. For 2 people it was about $100 with appetizers and no alcohol. They have an outdoor eating area perfect for the nice weather.

The quality has changed so much. It was subpar. The food came out lukewarm. It wasn’t crowded and we were sitting right by the kitchen. The drinks was horrible. The Salmon was unseasoned. The steak was fine, but something about the experience was lackluster altogether. You can tell by the pictures. The amount of money you pay I think it should offer a better value.

So this place called my eye with their mules that they do. My girlfriend got a pomegranate Moscow mule. She said it was so refreshing so smooth. For tonight's course we were starting off with cornbread skillets with an amazing butter to spread. Another appetizer was Hill country egg rolls. Inside had a smoke brisket cheese corn salsa avocados jalapenos with a barbecue Mayo for dipping. Our main course is amazing barbecue meatloaf with almond crisp green beans large center flavorful mashed potatoes that I normally don't eat but they were delicious

I can't express how amazing my waiter Julio was during my visit. I'm typically a harsh critic but he definitely won me over with his stellar service. I told the manager Gabby about his service and she was also amazing. The food was almost as amazing as the service lol This will be my go to spot when I come to Chicago.

Great place and the name is an assurance because Weber is the number one bbq company in the world and I am one of their most loyal customers. We were there for a business dinner and the food was great, I strongly recommend the pulled pork, amazing cooked.

Had dinner here last week. Service was friendly. Atmosphere is interesting with the layout - part bar part dining room part diner. Food was good - burgers were tasty and not greasy, wings were good, rib meat was cooked well but the sauce was kind of cold. Hot towels at the end were amazing!

I've cooked on a Weber charcoal kettle for years and have been slowly refining my grilling technique and wanted to visit the restaurant and take a BBQ course (which unfortunately didn't match my schedule). We went for lunch and I had high expectations for the grilled options. We got steak and different sandwich options. Unfortunately it was underwhelming. Nothing wrong, but I feel like I make at least as good, if not a better steak myself. Service was excellent. Restaurant has a nice warm and cozy atmosphere. Prices are on the high side. All in all, unfortunately wasn't what I expected. Edit: I had initially given a 4* review but had forgotten that despite the fact that we were a party of just 4, there was 18% gratuity included in the price with the possibility to "top it up" to +20%. Definitely not going back. Might be controversial, but tips are something you give servers for good service, not a tool the restaurant uses to charge you more after the fact.

Have been to so many restaurants around Chicago and the US but this was by far the biggest shock I’ve had with food quality. Been meaning to try this place for a while and finally brought some visiting family members for dinner. We ordered some steak skewers to start and they were absolutely burnt. I rarely send food back but every bite we took was completely bitter from the burnt parts and absolutely inedible. We each ordered a steak for our main and we ordered medium rare. When it arrived it was tough as bones and insanely dry, definitely very far off from a medium rare. We sent it back and received a new one only for the inside to be cold, and the outside to be burnt and bitter. I’ve never had tougher, drier steaks in all the steak houses I’ve tried around Chicago. All the meat we received was grainy in the mouth and burnt, almost as if they were frozen and thawed incorrectly. An absolutely horrendous meal, especially for the prices. Will never come back here and will not recommend anyone to come here (at least for the steaks)

First time eating here and it was amazing! We got the 20oz bone in ribeye and the classic burger… least to say we will be coming back! Soup of the day was a delicious Tortilla Chicken Soup with a nice spicy kick to it. Best soup I’ve had in a while. Out waiter Danjel R was extremely helpful and very friendly. He was very patient in explaining the menu and made our dine-in experience even better. So good you’ll be coming back to write a review too!

Had the smoked pork chops. Seasoned well and tasty. Spinach was very good and fresh. The chops were borderline undercooked, see pic. Friendly service. Ate outside. A bit noisy with traffic. Prices are reasonable. Not very busy for a Friday night. The menu has good choices but the steaks are overpriced.

The service was wonderful! Very friendly very accommodating staff. They have paper straws and draft Webber grill beer. We ordered Bud Lights and they came in a bottle. They have A1 sauce and Heinz condiments. I had the New York strip loaded baked potato and a Cesar salad. It was delicious cooked just the way I wanted it. They're still offering outdoor dining.

As a Weber Grill user and fan, I've been wanting to visit the Weber Grill restaurant for a while. It did not disappoint. We had the grilled brussel sprouts and split the grill master combo. Everything was absolutely perfect and delicious. If you like great grilled food, you won't find much better than this.

We’ve eaten here a couple of times. It’s a large restaurant so they can accommodate large parties even during peak hours. I would characterize the good as very good, but not great. This time we had a chicken Caesar salad and a patty melt. We tried the warm brownie with ice cream for dessert; it was excellent. Prices are about $20-25 for most entrees.

So nice. Staff was super attentive. We ordered entrees and paid an extra $25 to make it a full dinner. Paying extra $25 gets u and a plus one two bacon and Bleu cheese salads, a sharable appetizer and a dessert to share. The drinks we ordered was a margarita (which was good) and a beer from the draft selections which very plentiful. Our salads, appetizer (Chicken skewers) and entrees came out fairly quick. Not even five to 10 mins apart. My fiance had the NY strip steak with mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes. They used the red skinned joints. Seasoned very well. Steak was really good. I had the ribs (full slab). It came with house baked beans and coleslaw. Beans were delicious. Wasn't a fan of the slaw. There wasn't a hint of sweetness or pickle anywhere. It's cabbage with a dressing and hit with some dill. The ribs were cooked to perfection and I knew this was a dish they could not mess up. It was AMAZING. That sauce, hickory smoked flavor and the meat so tender. My knife literally passed thru with no effort! Off the bone tender. Wonderful experience come prepared because that bill can be ran up real quick. It's definitely worth the experience!🤎👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Visiting here for the first time from Ohio December 18th. came here to have a birthday dinner. The food is very good. my friend had the brisket rolls and really enjoyed them! I had a half a slab of ribs with the mashed potatoes. Very delicious as well. But mainly all the stars goes to our server William he was awesome! Very warm, knowledgeable, kind, friendly and hospitable! He made my birthday special. And took care of us with a smile the whole time. There was another server who gave us a whole educational rundown on how the restaurant got started we enjoyed it. Shout out to William and the staff that's how customer service should be everywhere! Definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back every time we come to Chicago!

We hadn’t been to Weber Grill in a couple years. My favorite meal from there was the skirt steak and steak kabob appetizers. They’ve recently changed the menu and those sadly aren’t a part of it anymore. That said, the Filet medallions are amazing!

I visited Weber Grill Restaurant for dinner. It's in the heart of downtown Chicago around a plethora of restaurants. I chose the Weber Grill because of it's accessibility to the hotel that I stayed in. There were other options, but this restaurant stayed open an hour later than the others. Plus, it was much cheaper than the other steakhouses in the area. The venue is easily identifiable from any viewpoint in the area due to the fact that there's the iconic barbecue Grill above the entrance of the building. The venue is very spacious, along with much to see whether you're sitting inside the restaurants to watch the cooks Grill the selected meats as well as seeing all of the historic notes of the business. Or sitting outside and viewing everything that's happening amongst downtown Chicago. I sat at the bar this time because the venue was still packed after 8:30p and it was difficult to get a table (20+ minute wait). I ordered the BBQ meatloaf entree paired with a Whistle Pig (rye whiskey) old fashioned. The portions of their entrees are generous and very filling. Although I wanted to order something else to take to my hotel room for a midnight snack, I was too full to actually do so. The entree itself was a different spin on meatloaf. I've never had barbecue meatloaf nor had it seared & grilled either. It was paired with mashed potatoes and green beans with garlic butter topped with sliced almonds. I enjoyed that meal, it was delicious. I found myself scraping the plate in about 20 minutes after receiving it. My bartender for the night was Audrey. Despite being drastically busy with a full bar of guests, plus constantly receiving drink orders to prepare for servers, she tended to me well. And the drink that she made for was on point. She gave a generous pour for what I ordered, which is something I needed after a long day at work. If you're in the area, give this place a try. Enjoy it for yourself.

Wonderful restaurant. Outstanding service. Food absolutely delicious. I'm visiting from NC and we hadn't planned on eating here but glad we did. My prime rib was tender and juicy.

Glad I visited Weber Grill! The waiter explained to me that they are one of the few (if not the only) restaurant around the area that grills its meats using charcoal. As I was not that hungry, I ordered the side caesar salad and topped up $9 for a strip steak and it was extremely delicious! The steak is amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Chicago.

Every time we're in Chicago we make it a point to eat at Weber Grill (sometimes twice!). I have liked everything I've had, usually a steak but I've had the meatloaf and the hamburger also. Service is always first class. It does get busy so reservations for dinner are usually a good idea. Make sure to try the pretzel bread!

I had an amazing experience at Weber Grill. I love the waiter, Don's services. He has an exclusive approach to restaurant endeavors to perfect a customer's visit. I will like to say, "Thank you" to the business owner of Weber Grill, whom hosted me for Christmas Dinner. The pictures are below. Merry Christmas, Weber Grill's staff.

OMG! The food was amazing!! The service was great as well. Our server recommended the sticky ribs for an appetizer, they were really really good! Very tender and flavorful. For entrees I had the cedar planked salmon and my friend had the bbq meatloaf. We both were very satisfied with what we picked. For drinks we shared the citrus rum sangria. It was very very good. Definitely a go to restaurant. Everything was amazing!

We stayed in downtown Chicago for a couple days, and we admittedly went here because it had the best prices on steak within walking distance from our hotel. That being said, we had an amazing meal, great wine, and outstanding service. Will definitely make this our go-to fine dining place next time we're in town!
