HUGEEE amazing portions!!! The chicken was INSANELY good!! I almost didn’t want to post about this place that it could stay “hidden”. The boys voted it their fav Chicago pancakes!! Perfect place to eat brunch or lunch before going to the Conservatory. White cloth napkin, silverware and full service to your table!!! Substantially cheaper prices than most places we eat at! Amazing value!

This little gem in the heart of the West Side is a pure treasure!!!! The sweet roll (not pictured) is a tasty treat to share & start brunch off with a nice cup of coffee. I had a the shrimp & grits served with a side of greens! Perfect. The grits were the perfect, cheesy consistency. The shrimp were firm and sizable. No complaints. My companion had the breakfast bowl. I didn’t try it but her plate was clean at the end of our brunch so it signified to me that she enjoyed her meal, as well. Directly across from Garfield Park, go give them a try! I will be back!

Absolutely phenomenal spot for brunch! The food delicious and perfectly priced, and the socially responsible aspect of Inspiration Kitchens made it ten times better. This will be our first choice for breakfast when we return to Chicago! I recommend the breakfast bowl - every aspect was just brilliant.

Visited 3/30/19. They pay a living wage to folks overcoming homelessness and poverty, providing training and jobs. Great service, fantastic comfort food (biscuits and gravy were on point!), and an incredible mission. Couple this with a visit to the Garfield Park Conservatory and you’ve got yourself an amazing day on the West Side.

I visited on Mother's Day, so the menu was limited to the occasion (which is fine). I like the concept and the cause and the ambience is pretty good with nice decor. The space kind of reminds me a bit of a dining hall at a lodge. The food is pretty decent, though I can't say I liked the way the bacon was prepared (but that's more of a personal preference). Overall, nice place to drop by for brunch. PS: It's a BYOB/BYOW place!

Absolutely love Inspiration Kitchen and their mission for the community. The grits were so tasty and the flavors just mesh together so well. I also had the basil lemonade which was so fresh and earthy. Love is definitely in every meal.

Good little spot with good sized portions. The Gumbo and Po Boy were winners in my book. They also had a nice selection of hot teas and desserts. I gave it three stars due to the lack of consistent among their menu items. Some were really good, while others were just ok (Monkey Bread, Biscuits and Gravy). Good experience overall.

I had fried green tomatoes, it had a great presentation it lacked a little flavor but the pepper jelly and sauce put it over the top. I also has shrimp and grits now this dish looked great and tastes better more like perfect!!!! The hostes was A1 and I had great service. Things place is a hidden GEM!

Went recently for a private event and it was a great experience! Health measures were observed, tables were spaced and the food was excellent!

The shrimp and grits is my favorite meal, but my favorite thing about this place is the staff, ambience, and honestly, the acoustics is pretty nice, too. Great design overall.

The Ultimate Benedict was delicious. Service was good. The Shrimp n Grits looked amazing. I'm definitely getting that next time.

Inspirations Kitchens is wonderful! Food is delicious and everyone we met on the staff was so friendly and helpful. Definitely a new favorite for a chill weekend brunch. Took a few tries to find the place, but so worth it when we did. (You want to turn into the parking lot off Lake.)

The food was incredible and the mission is great, too. Truthfully, we went because the mission was cool, figured the food would at least be fine but we were blown away by how delicious everything we ordered was. Don’t miss this spot!

Really good food. Small portions. Service was slow and a bit inexperienced but we understood the team was in training and learning.
