THIS RESTAURANT IS NO LONGER DEDICATED GLUTEN FREE. I’m a regular here due to having celiac disease, but unfortunately, this restaurant decided to add glutenous items. To make matters worse, they didn’t announce this change publicly, which could’ve gotten someone extremely sick. Their website also says they’re “99% gluten free.” If you know anything about cross contamination, you know that that might as well say “0% gluten free.” Really disappointed about this. If you are gluten-intolerant, proceed with caution.

In short, great food and service. Stopped by for an early lunch during the week and it was still empty. I arrived when they first opened at 11a, so probably beat the lunch rush. Lady working the register was also training a new employee, but immediately greeted me and took my order. She was very friendly and helpful. All the bowls sounded good, but ordered the Everyday Eat Right with the addition of a Crispy Egg. It was ready in 10 minutes and they brought the bowl to my table. Bowl presentation was nice and the egg was cooked perfectly. Didn't just look good, but tasted amazing. Fresh ingredients sourced locally from the chicken to the vegetables mixed with brown rice. I'll definitely come back on my next trip to try some of the other bowls.

This place is amazing. My sister and I went and truly enjoyed the experience. She eats gluten free and worries about different foods. It's all good here... Gluten, nut and dairy free. Grass fed beef and healthy chicken choices for meat eaters. They are willing to substitute items and open to listening to your preferences and help with your order. What a novelty! The portions are exceptional and the service was given with a smile and friendly conversation. I can't wait to go back and take my daughters. Yup now Mama has a new hangout! Lol I highly recommend above 5 star. Oh and the prices are reasonable which makes it even better! 😀

Brightwok is excellent and worth the wait. Line is out the door for lunch but there is a reason. We had lunch here and the service was great as was the food. It's a Chipotle style restaurant for stir fry. Tried the tofu, chicken, and steak. Make sure you get the egg on top. The cashew sauce is the way to go.

The food was good and the staff was really friendly. The best thing about it for our family is that (as of last time I went there) the entire family is gluten free! This is great because my wife has celiac and it is one of the few places we can eat at without her having to worry about getting sick. My kids really enjoyed the "magic bars" and in my opinion, for being a dessert item they are not too unhealthy.

Had the earth, curry and fire and it was super flavorful. Loved it ! Their scarlet tea was also decent. Will surely come back here to try other items.

Had lunch here last Friday. Their entire menu is gluten, dairy, fish, shellfish and peanut free! Their sauces are also all vegan! We ordered the Panang Chicken curry bowl and the Thai Basil chicken Bowl. I requested for the sauce to be on the side for my Thai Basil chicken bowl and they gladly accommodated my request. Both bowls were very yummy! They were loaded with veggies! I then went on to takeaway an additional bowl of the Panang curry bowl for myself for dinner! - the cashew curry sauce was very good!

Their Motto is “Eat Right, Live Bright,” and That’s What You Do Here. We dropped in here for a quick, cheap bite during lunch and had a great experience. Brightwok is a veggie-focused, Asian-inspired restaurant serving fresh and colorful bowls of delicious-goodness. Their sauces are all homemade and flavorful, and their menu is dairy- and peanut-free. I ordered their Kick’n Panang bowl ($9), that came with white rice, local tofu, zucchini, squash, carrots, broccoli, and onions—I added a crispy egg on top ($1.50). It was great—lots of fresh veggies and a tangy sauce I made sure to sop up with every grain of rice. My date ordered the Earth, Curry, and Fire ($10), a bowl with chili coconut curry spiced hot, white rice, local tofu, kale onions, carrots, bell peppers, and crispy egg. She loved it too. We’re not from Chicago and were so glad to come here for lunch. This is a great place to have a quick, healthy meal that’s easy on your wallet and easy to fit during the work day.

I came in with a co-worker for the first time and the only person on duty was Nick. He got bombarded with take out orders and he hustled to get them out the door while trying to juggle our order as well. I wanted to give him a nice tip but he kept declining. The coconut curry bowl was delicious and I didn't leave a single grain of rice behind. My coworker and I will definitely be back!

I will be returning here EVERY visit to Chicago. Five stars for quality of food, friendliness of staff, cleanliness of location and their ability to work around my very restrictive diet and create a healthy, tasty and filling meal for me. My new forever favorite dining establishment in Chicago! Well done!!!! *applause*

This is the Chipotle/blaze pizza of stir fry. Great food with a focus on quality ingredients, lots of veges, and plenty of peanut free and vegan friendly options. It's convenient, good value, and delicious. You also get a very modern environment if you choose to eat in.

Ridiculous amount of thick terayaki? sauce. Ridiculous salty. Dump everything in wok to stir fry that means your meat is undercooked and your veggies are overcooked. No idea how do stir fry.

I ordered lunch for our company and accidentally placed it for the wrong day. It was noon the day I was expecting lunch when I realized my mistake. I called to cancel my order and talked to Megan, telling her what happened. She called back within five minutes and offered to make the order ASAP. Megan was and will forever be one of my favorite people because of this. THANK YOU, MEGAN.

I recommend this place to everyone I know and eat it every chance I get. I wish I could buy some sauces or some sort of meal kit to bring home to the suburbs to make dinner for my family! The other day they were very accommodating when a friend of mine mixed up her online order location. Please open another location in Glen Ellyn!
