order pickup review: okay i love sweet green but im sorry… what is THIS 😭 i ordered for pick up (literally right now). got the miso salmon bowl with goat cheese and sub the spicy cashew sauce for a different one so nothing with the contents of the bowl should have changed. yet here i am, with less than half of a bowl of dry rice, a half of an avocado and a filet of salmon, and a grand total of 8 cubes of cucumber …$20 something dollars later…. if this is the correct portion i do NOT recommend ordering this one due to the fact that the value of the cost of this protein plate is not at all equal.

Great look store with good staff. I love the style of the way foods are getting served at Sweetgreen, but the thing I don’t like about it is the option they charge you per some pots. In fact you don’t have many options to receive your selections without extra charges. They even charge half of the small Avocado for $2 which I don’t agree it should be that price.

It was kind of frustrating that a guy just walked in, stood in front of everyone, and started ordering. The staff didn't say anything to him. The guy actually was pretty friendly, but I feel like an employee should have told him to wait his turn. The food was okay.

Takeout review: One of the best lunch salads I've ever had. But, for $11, it better be.... The good: Lots of great and interesting menu options for the bowls and salads, I wanted to try all of them. Of course, all are healthy as well. My bowl was fantastic. Hearty, hot, and tasty. The service was very friendly and the process was quick. The bad: The price. Even though it was damn good, it's hard to justify $11 for a lunch salad. Atmosphere: 9/10 Service: 10/10 Food: 9/10

The new manager has gotten tight on portion control according to one of the workers and you can clearly see in the orders you receive. The bite size portion of the hot honey chicken plate for almost $16 is a scam.

Always good salads. This location has a good team. Compliments. And the peach goat cheese bowl is a hit. I added brown rice and sweet potatoes to finish it off. Excellent summer salad.

Staff is very fast and efficient! This is my favorite lunch spot. The salads are SO delicious. Nothing else compares! The portions are huge, depending on your appetite you can save half for later! I love the seasonal bowls. You can also customize your bowl as you want. Get the sweetgreen app to refer a friend and get rewards! Also makes the check out process super fast. 10/10!

Yummy spot! Fresh ingredients. The fish taco and harvest bowl are delicious. I like the kombucha as well. The peach is a great flavor. We had to wait a little while for service because they were busy but the server was very kind and working hard.

I work a couple doors over from this location and regularly order lunch here. Over the last 6 months I have paid from $11 for a salad as listed on the menu, to $24 for a salad with modifications. The sizes of the portions vary wildly depending on who is making up bowls to the point that some salads barely fill half the bowl; this has been regularly observed by my coworkers. This afternoon I ordered multiple sides of Buffalo cauliflower for lunch, in the same bowl. The bowl barely contained more than a single side’s worth of cauliflower and I was charged over $18 for that and a piece of bread. The sales associate tried to tell me this was normal. I was so disappointed I left the order at the register and walked out. My coworker group alone represents a minimum of 20 so-so built salads from Sweetgreen a week, and I doubt we are alone in our experience. Management here needs to sit up and pay attention since a beautiful kale salad with fresh bread and table service across the street at Quartino only costs about $12.

I absolutely love coming to this place. The manager- Briana is the reason why I keep coming here. I come there multiple times a week and every time I'm greeted with a smile and warm welcome. She always goes above and beyond to make customers happy. She's a breath of fresh air, even on her long work days she never fails to go above and beyond. Her co-workers have nice things to say about her as well, she's always talking to them in a nice manner, helping them by answering their questions. I can't say enough nice things about her. Briana needs a raise! Thank you so much for Brightening up my day and giving me delicious salads! ❤️❤️

Cute place for people who want to eat healthy and thin girls. I happen to be in the former crowd not quite a thin girl! Lol. My first time here. When I pass by, it is always abuzz! Crowded but the flow of foodies moves in and out. People are nice especially for Chicago. It is downtown which is a great area. Chicago is great in the Summer!

I was visiting Chicago and staying right across the street from SG….So I wanted to try it,and I wasn’t disappointed,I went pretty much every night to get my salad and it was very pleasant..Very tasty,staff was very helpful and nice. My only complain and the reason I only gave them a 4 star..The chicken ..it seems like who ever is preparing the salad can be different in how much they add to it…and if they tossed the salad and some it ends up on the counter they don’t add anymore ..there’s not enough to begin with…so just add some more !..that little scoop just doesn’t cut it….Other than that I loved it !..I kept coming back for more…I highly recommend it if you want to eat healthy at least once a day…if you’re visiting.

Great selection of salads and rice-salad bowls. Took the Guacamole Greens and it was really good! Unfortunately there was a mix up in the pick up and someone else took our paket. Which I found out after waiting for 10 min,should have asked earlier. The staff apologized (not their fault, people just take any) and quickly prepared a new salad. However buying a drink while waiting was more disappointing, they only 'see' you when you get a salad prepared, ignoring you if you stand in the line without salad order, when I asked if I could buy a softdrink the cashier was very unfriendly, or just busy.

My favorite fast casual salad place out there. If you are looking for a healthy meal around $10-$15, it does not get better than Sweetgreen!

Love Sweetgreen, but the River North location consistently has very poor service during lunch hours. It can take 20 minutes to move through a line with only 3-4 people and ordering on the app does not help. It will say the order is ready but when you arrive you have to wait 5-10 minutes.

I left the city for three months and when I returned, the staff was so unbelievably friendly and genuinely excited to see me again (I was a daily customer before leaving). And it’s not just one person, there are so many that are such good people and do a great job preparing food as well. Shoutout to Lulu, Seraphin, Taylor, Diamond, and everyone else on the staff for making my lunch/dinner time trips to sweetgreen so enjoyable!

I ordered a bowl and the lid was dirty with foods that I didn’t have in my order! The last time they got them wrong, the time before that they didn’t put all of the things I ordered in, and both times I had to walk back to the restaurant. So this was my last time ordering a salad from sweetgreen, I don’t have the time to walk back to the restaurant on my lunch break to get my food replaced. For 25$ price tag with delivery, the restaurant should do better!

The food is decent - big salads with healthy add-ins. However, we waited in line for 45 minutes. While at least 5 employees were working (and 3 more started their shift while we were there), only one was working the food prep line. Shouldn't your first priority be serving the customers? I watched 5 people get out of line and leave. Decent food, but they need to manage their time and employees better.

Super slow service. They have one server to make salads for the people in line while they have four to five in back making salads for Uber eats. It’s ridiculous. They prioritize people who order online rather than people in their actual store front. This has caused me to skip getting sweetgreen even though I walked to their store. Please be better or lose a customer for life.

First time in, solid spot! Fresh ingredients and huge portions but the best part was the service! Brenda was awesome! She walked me through the options and helped me make one of the best bowls ever! 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The ingredients are super fresh and they make it right away. Very generous portions and the price is reasonable. My only complaint was there was some fairly limited seating including a little arena step that went up but you could sit behind people I guess. Also there is a apparent homeless person who was sitting in one of the prime spots talking loudly and endlessly which is a little annoying. Overall though a really good place.

Went here for food during the rush hour, the staff was working swiftly & doing their best, the fish taco bowl is great all ingredients are of excellent quality .. I will definitely re-visit here on my next trip to Chicago.

The entire staff was amazing today. Juan, the manager, explained the entire process for me to get $5 off. It was my first time and he made me feel like that dude! I'm definitely coming back. Pandemic ain't slowing up nothing healthy! #MAMG

It was really nice having a healthy lunch that tasted so good. I don’t know how they make their sweet potatoes but they were delicious. Downside was I payed $17. I got a piece of bread and that was not worth the price but I’ll come back for the salads.

Less than a year ago I gave this place five stars because it was honestly my happy place. In recent months the staff hasn't been up to par, in my honest opinion. Their customer service is lacking, they're rare speak to you when you walk in, they're stingy with the food, and just overall not very pleasant. Don't get me wrong the food is still good but honestly the staff is what allows a business to have regular customers. This environment is just not it for me anymore.

Don’t go to this location. The greens were not properly washed, the avocado was not fresh and the salad was much smaller than at other locations.

We got two bowls to go in an attempt to have at least one meal with fiber and veggies while traveling. This really was the ticket. It was very busy but the line moved fast and the quality of ingredients were good. It was well packed in biodegradable to go containers that was easy to carry back to our hotel.

It took 15 minutes to get out of Sweet Green when there was only 5 people in line this is outrageous. The woman who helped me put such a little amount of chicken in my Harvest Bowl. There was like 3 pieces. The Sweet Potatoes in the bowl were also cold. I have been to a different Sweet Green during lunch time and was out in 10, with great tasting food and speedy service. I’m very disappointed.

I tried on two separate occasions over the past two years to place an online order. Each time, my credit card information was compromised and my identity was stolen. Sweetgreen’s lack of adequate cybersecurity measures has been the sole reason that I will never spend any money at this establishment again.

Clean good eating you will not be disappointed

Not the cleanest. Tables not wiped in some time and there was a hair in my salad. It happens, it’s the follow through and resolution that make the difference. Person I spoke with didn’t know how to handle complaint - first reaction was one of confusion “Would you like me to make you a new one??”

I stopped by the River North location yesterday while visiting an old college friend. We were greeted with attention and good vibes across the board. Erica was super thoughtful working the register and asked about my time in the city and how I’ve enjoyed it so far in the River North area. I will definitely get back whenever I can!
