The Cashier's over there have done racial microaggressions towards different ethnicities. I notice based on their attitude towards each whenever I shop there. My mother was a victim of that and she had reported it to the manager and it literally happened to her again with a different cashier. These Cashier's need better training because if you work in customer service than you have treat everyone with respect.

I shop at this food 4 less and the customers are always 'aggressive' and 'moody' its not really the customers i have a complain about but the staff. A couple of days ago, i got attacked by these 2 customers. They started insulting me and my family since they got mad at us for whatever reason. We are in the middle of a pandemic so we have to keep our distance but they dint respect that and so instead of owning up to their actions they attacked us and started threatening us (what makes it worse is that they were literally threatening us right in front of children) and where were the staff? Only doing god knows what in their minds. They dint even defuse the situation or call security. Staff was right there in front of us and they dint do anything. You guys should really train your staff for these types of situations. Next time, there could be a fight or even worse. My other complain is that the staff always have a bad attitude.

This grocery store is almost always crowded. The store is usually organized, but can get messy sometimes. They run out of sale items all the time, make sure you get a raincheck. They never have enough cashiers so check out lines are long. Some items are lower here than other stores, just make sure you get exactly what you need and check out the sale flyers. #CityExperts. @Localguides

To avoid the construction right now on Cicero I had to take a break from my favorite grocery store Cermak Produce and come to the Food 4 Less on North Ave., Erika N. was so rude she reminded me why I never shop at this store. I said hello I did not get a hello back when I told her to have a great night I received no response. Terrible absolutely terrible customer service!

Horrible service is just plain they’re not organize at all. Why in the black community are we accepting this type of service. Deli closes at 4 pm no manager around to assist and they will not answer their phone

They offer a variety of groceries, reasonable prices. They have a produce, bakery & reduced/slightly damaged items located in nearby the cheese & butter areas. Reasonable prices, spacious, & they have electric carts at the entrance. Having their digital coupon app is very helpful.

If you can get in early or a little later after 6 or 7pm, you're good. Otherwise, be prepared to deal with panhandlers, disrespectful young people (behind the registers and moving carts), and speeding cars in the parking lot. You can definitely find some great prices for your grocery needs. Pretty good meats too. Just make sure you pack your patience.

I very rarely come here and yesterday reminded me. I’m not sure exactly what was going on but the cashier next to move seemed to be conducting some kind of illicit cash transaction involving deli meat and weed. Words fail me but there was no semblance of anything resembling people doing their job properly overall in this facility.

Everytime I call this store it seems everyone defend there bad judgment and when I'm trying to informed of a problem of a coffee cake that did not have a secure container closing, this is the second time. In an loud angry tone and not allowing me to explain and correct her the manager told me to call the company myself and that I mishandled the packages and they pop open which by law should be secured. She said she would transfer me to the manager and line went dead. Try to handle it locally.

Probably the most awful grocery store ever, only reason I come to this location is because it's close to me. Cashiers are always rude, no type of customer service at all but of course it always begins with management hiring these types of people. You can't even get a hello or a thank you, my cashiers name was Shirley M. and of course she was to busy on her phone, I got no hi, thank you or goodbye. Again, it's starts with management, this food for less is always gonna be the same.... GHETTO unless we get management that's wants change in this community. Do better and maybe you can stop receiving bad reviews.

This has always been a great store around the world Kroger products are reasonable but as far as this location with the workers it's more need to be done you may get lucky and find 2 cashier's working but they desperately needs better management skills for better training and hospitality of there franchise

The cashier and the other inside employees are helpful, the only problem I had was one employee by the shopping cart curtain that told me very rudely I couldn't come in with my service dog and I told him he is a service dog.i guess he never encounter people with disabilities. I still be a customer regardless of his stupidity .

Good place to shop good prices really good selection. Sometimes they don't have enough cashiers but I try to go when it's not as busy if you check Google maps it tells you when it's busy. Same problems as any other store with not having enough cashiers yes the lines can get really long but it goes pretty fast sometimes you could be waiting in line at Jewel, for example, a lot longer.

👍👍 Hidden gem tucked away right off of 39th and Morgan. Can't go wrong with the 2 hot dog special, but the sandwiches are incredible.
