We did the Iconic Food Tour with Terry. It was great! Make sure you come hungry because there is a LOT of food, and it is all amazing.

I went on the Second City Classic tour about a month ago and it was really fun! Lots of good, classic Chicago food and exposure to things I didn't think I'd like and a lot of variety. Dave was the guide and he was great. Not a super animated guy, but knew a lot about the city and made sure everyone was taken care of. Great tour!

Loved the Chinatown food tour with Philip! He was an incredible guide and the places we visited were amazing. It was a very high quality and organised experience. A lot of value for the money. Highly recommend and will he looking forward to taking their Chicago classic food tour in the future!

The Iconic Foods of Chicago tour with David was great. He really knows a lot about Chicago and encourages questions and group discussions. The food was delicious, this is a good activity to do on a dry day. The website and joining instructions are really informative in terms of what you'll eat, where to meet, where you finish, timings... Highly recommend this for one of the first days of your holiday so you can get tips on where to eat and places to go for the rest of your holiday.

Did the gateway to the west food tour with Dave, food was amazing, Dave was even better 😄 great stories and personality. Never thought I'd be a food tour person, but I would totally do this one again. (also accommodated me as a vegetarian 😉👍)

We had the best time with Phil and Chicago food planet. We attended the tour with our 1 yo. Accessibility, restrooms, and flexibility are required when we travel and this tour was all of these things and more! We had the best time and fell even more in love with this city, its architecture, and its food.

Phil and David did a great job navigating our 24 person group through Chicago! We enjoyed the food, conversation and learning about the city. I highly recommend for a fun work event outside of the office! Huge shout out to the event staff at their office to help me get things set up! They were quick to respond and made it very easy to coordinate! Thank you!

This was a team building event for work. We had the best time! David is personable, funny and very, very kind. The food was delicious, the walk was perfect and everyone we spoke with at the participating restaurants were kind and patient with our large group. Highly recommend!

They refused to issue a refund on party member that had to drop even with 96 hour notice. I could understand if it was less than 24 hour notice, but 4 days is plenty to shift things around. Having a blanket no refunds policy is not customer friendly and comes off as money-grabbing.

The Iconic Foods of Chicago tour was exceptional. Our tour guide David was delightful, humorous, and truly knowledgeable about a city he obviously loves. The food was amazing and we were able to meet some wonderful people. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who visits.

On a recent visit to Chicago my best friend and I took the Gateway to the West Loop walking food tour. It was an awesome - and delicious - way to experience Chicago and we definitely discovered spots we wouldn't have otherwise known about. The food was fantastic and Dave, our tour guide, was hilarious and deeply knowledgeable. He had so many great stories, facts, and insights about Chicago and his commentary was just as enjoyable as all of the food stops! Our group was also very fun, and we had a great time getting to know the other tour participants. Can't wait to come back to Chicago and try another food tour!

The food options in the West Loop tour were all great and our tour guide, David, was so awesome! He definitely knew his stuff and was so funny. Such a great gift idea. Highly recommend!

Dave was a great tour guide! The tour introduced us to one of the best food scenes in the country. Every stop was amazing on the West Loop tour! The information about the history of the area was also very interesting and kept the experience upbeat between eating.

Had a great time Dave was very professional and knowledgeable.this was my fourth tour with food planet. Really enjoyed the West Loop. And the drinks. Lived in Chicago all my life and yet haven’t been to these locations. We now reside in Tampa Florida my daughter is still in Chicago and whenever I come up in the summer she is sure to book a tour. I think our next tour may be tequila taco that sounds interesting. Great job!!!!

West Loop tour was excellent. Dave was a wonderful guide - knowledgable and funny. We loved Boncis, Time Out Market, and Nonnas. Only recommendation from our group would be to swap out one of the two dessert spots in favor of another savory option.

We did the Iconic Food Tours of Chicago with David as our guide - he was great! The food was delicious, and we learned a ton of interesting historical facts about Chicago!

The 5 food choices, along with beverage package, were all very good. Our fist stop was Nonna’s where the meatballs were exceptional!!! (We went back and bought them TO GO). David, our tour guide, made the experience absolutely delightful! He was very knowledgeable, super friendly, had good humor and was very engaging. We highly recommend Gateway to the West food tour. One suggestion is to add one more food stop and one less sweet (there were 2).
