I usually go here once a year to get ingredients for things I make only when family arrives. This time I took my brother for the first time and he was amazed by the isle of ramen alone. We got so many noodles. If you get nothing else here, get the cheese"ramyun" lol. Its seriously the best cheese ramen I've ever had from a package. They always have a good variety of soy products, green veggies, and tofu. The meats were very fresh, albeit a bit pricey. They even had american wagyu for hotpot, thinly sliced and beautifully presented. Enormous selection of kimchi, some I've never even seen before. And the jars were huge. The little bakery was delightful, but understandably they didn't have much selection by the time we got there (around 4pm). Nevertheless the things we did buy were all individually wrapped and tasted great. Other things: clean store in general, clean public bathrooms, a parking lot (which is free!), helpful cashiers. The isles are a bit narrow if that matters to you, or if you're in a wheelchair.

H Mart is a great Asian grocery in Chicago. Full grocery store with produce, seafood, Ramen, packaged goods, snacks, drinks, alcohol, novelties, and prepared foods. The food court is great with some fantastic options.

This place is so cool. The produce,meat,and seafood are all so fresh. There is so much in one store. I could walk around for a long time just checking out everything they have. They have a Paris Baguette, and two other restaurants in the grocery store. I definitely will be back!

I had been a loyal customer to this Hmart for more than 2 years. However, a recent experience turned me away from it forever. I purchased this 4-in-1 pack white peach that packed up-side-down to showcase their nice-look and beauty. Later at home, I found all peaches are dented on the side facing down. Even worse, all peaches are rotten and not eatable (probably due to the dents). Nice job selling the "Lemon Peach" Hmart! Good bye and good luck with your business

Great place to grab food and grocery. Smaller than the Super Hmart but carries similar items. Food was amazing.

I'm mainly posting about the place that serves Korean Fried Chicken in the little food court this Hmart has. It's truly amazing. Great, light, and crispy fried chicken where it's not completely drenched in sauce and not greasy at all. It definitely gives Bonchon a run for their money if you've had their Korean fried chicken. Would definitely recommend the garlic and spicy/sweet sauce split they have. The garlic sauce is not too heavy into the garlic flavor which was a pleasant surprise compared to your typical American garlic Parm wing's suace. Great little gem that happens to be in the Hmart

One of my favorite grocery stores in the city. So many varieties and amazing selection of meats, produce and snacks. Parking is easy and free. Lots of prepackaged food and drinks are available for a quick to go lunch or dinner. They also have a couple different options of restaurants in there with a small dining area. Highly recommend this place.

What a fantastic Asian Grocery!!! I wish SO much we had something REMOTELY like this in northeast Indiana. Such a great variety of fresh and authentic Japanese products. The restaurants were also delicious and we left very full and loaded with goodies.

Really liked this Korean supermarket they have a huge selection of fresh produce and seafood. Went to purchase sweets and ramen and they have a big selection of both did not disappoint. Came home with a lot of new food products that I can't wait till try.

Amazing good quality meat, good ramen brands, veggies, everything is great! I try to go here once or every two weeks. The staff is friendly and safe too because of security! I love getting my meat, frozen dumplings and korean sauces and treats from here! Even made a few delicious dishes this week. Thanks Hmart! Update : I went to Hmart 11/5/2021 Some of the items I purchased are in the pics below. Seriously love this place . The quality is great and sure sometimes on certain itmes you may spend more but its really worth it. I really recommend trying the bagged kimchi , bubble tea packs , onigiri , golden curry, salmon, ice cream, Korean alcohol....and so much more !

I found out there's H Mart close to where we were staying the day we were leaving Chicago. I really could've used it if I knew. It's much smaller than other locations we've been to but they have the same essential items and a small food court, too. I just wanted to check out ready-to-eat food and got some. They charge for a plastic bag (charged at a pharmacy, too) and I like the idea of protecting the enviroment.

What an experience. If you are in the market for some Asian delight…This is the place to be. Place was clean well-stocked and the staff was very friendly. I definitely recommend this to anybody who is Looking to purchase some unique gifts or even just a little treat for themselves. I give it 5⭐️ Jerry (the pigeon) gives it 5⭐️

This market is located in a very convenient area— I had a few hours to kill between trains and with Mitsuwa being further away, H Mart came in handy. The layout of this store is very similar to Mitsuwa, in the sense that there's restaurants and a dining area mixed in with the groceries. Their bakery had a good selection of different buns, all fresh and quite tasty. They have croquettes, red bean buns and ones with cream, sweet potato, etc. They're all pretty cheaply priced, too. In my opinion. They had a good amount of groceries. From fresh cut fruit to packaged sweets. I found a lot of unique snacks there that I haven't seen at other stores. They have a ramen stand, boba, Korean corn dogs. You can get the corn dogs without meat (mozzarella instead), a plus if you're vegetarian. They were really good!

LOVE this store. Pro tip… if you want bread and pastries get there before 10:00am! They sell out. I have to say this is the best place to get produce in this part of the city.

Man o man is this place awesome !!! They had all the bakery goods I wanted !! I would have took more pictures but I ate everything else before getting home hahaha . They have everything the cream and strawberry sammitches , Honey dew boba , Watermelon Mochi , Chinese cheese cake , Mochi Doughnuts! The little food place inside was absolutely amazing . I loved looking at all the imported goods. So cool buying stuff you could only get in Korea or Japan . Such a cool place . Can’t wait to go back and try more goodies !!! Everything was Soooooooooo yummy !

Who'd think there would be a Korean grocery store downtown Chicago. It is smaller than the suburban counterparts but still packed with products. They still managed to get a food court inside! Quick good hot meals.

My wife insisted on stopping in while we were in town. Honestly, I expected just another Asian grocery store. I was wrong. The produce, meat, and fish were so impressive. Everything was fresh, presented well, and appealing. If we weren't traveling, I'd have bought everything I could. We got a few new drinks and snacks to try that our local Asian market didn't carry. We'd love to visit again the next time we are near.

So convenient, even though it's in the downtown area. They have a parking lot with easy access to get back on e-way. Not as big as Niles location but they have a great assortment from noodles to frozen dumplings. Good selection of produce and fresh meats and seafood. Not just a Korean grocery, I can find so many Filipino food staples.

Nothing, I love more than going to my #1 H Market Chicago and killing time. This H Mart is literally my favorite from all the other's sorry but it had to be said. The staff is wonderful, the items fantastic, the food don't get me started and more importantly you leave Happy. If you happen to find yourself in Chicago, make a little pit stop to H Mart Chicago. The best Asian market! Great selection of products and produce, one of the only places where you can find dragon fruit 💜 and at a nice price too. The food court is also very good. Also the only place where I’ve been able to find my favorite brand of banana milk

This place has everything you can ask for. Also a dope food court inside is great for a quick lunch bite. Everything in here is super organized and clean l. 10/10

Easy enough to get to, and they have a decent sized parking lot for the downtown Chicago area. This location is a little bit smaller than the Naperville one, but this location makes up for it by being a lot nicer inside and out. It also offers better restaurants. I came here last week, after having only been downtown less than a handful of times, in the past year. I should probably note, for those wondering, that their washroom was easy to locate and clean, as well. Looking forward to coming here more in the future!

I came back from South Korea recently, this is seemingly one of the few places in town that I can find some of the things that I missed while abroad. Great selection and huge store. Highly recommend it!
