I had wanted to go to this restaurant for years… finally I was able to go , the ambiance and eating by and viewing the surrounding garden was great and honestly what made this a unique experience. The sangria was delicious and the dates covered in bacon were very unique. The food overall was good . The salad was delicious And the puff pastry was ok . Overall it was a nice experience the manager was very welcoming. Definitely need a reservation.

Haven't been here for a few years, so I was really excited to come back. It wasn't too busy when we went around 5PM in a Saturday so we got to eat outside at the patio. Our server Matt made excellent recommendations on the drinks/tapas/entrées! Just a beautifully place to have a nice dinner; great ambience, delicious food, and excellent service.

I’ve been here so many times including this past weekend and the food is always beyond delicious. This mansion this restaurant is located in is just a dream. Each season I’ve visited always has a magical feeling. In the summer you have all the beautiful flowers and greenery surrounding this gem and in the winter it feels like a winter wonderland. I’ve also visited when they have performers going. It was really nice they sent a coupon for my birthday I got to use this last time. Such a sweet gesture. This past weekend there was a girl at the door that was a bit sassy and rude and kinda killed my mood in the beginning especially after having such a great day but this was the first time I ever experienced behavior like that from the workers. I did address it with the manager there and they seemed compassionate so I let it slide but everything else has been and was amazing. It sounded like she was at the end of her shift because by the time I sat down and addressed it with the manager she left for the day. Maybe she had a rough day, it happens. Still, My favorite restaurant in the area hands down. So much space, the food is always mouth watering, and the sweetest servers. Thank you.

Bad service. Our server forgot the paella we ordered when we first arrived. He waited until we were done with our tapas and drinks to come back and assumed we were wrapping up. We let him know about the paella, and he had a look on his face and surprised reaction like he completely forgot. He did not acknowledge he forgot and still charged us for it. We watched him give service to all of the tables near us who came after us but for some reason he didn’t follow up with us. The paella was finally brought out almost an hour and a half after ordering it. By the way there were only a few groups there. It was in the middle of the afternoon in the middle of the week, so it was not busy. On top of the poor service, the food did not taste like authentic Spanish cuisine whatsoever. The paella was lacking in flavor with boiled, tasteless veggies on top. I’ll give it two stars: one for the beautiful grounds and one for the tasty Galician beer and cider we had.

Such a beautiful restaurant with gorgeous gardens surrounding the building. I had salmon with lemon sauce. It came with slivered vegi's and was delicious. It was a small portion, but very good. Next time, I will get some sort of potato dish to go with the meal. Would be a beautiful location for a party or a wedding. Very attentive staff. Building was very clean and well maintained. I had a couple glasses of white sangria and they were very good. A bit pricey, but the experience is worth the cost.

I can't overstate how wonderful this restaurant was. We took my mom for her birthday and it was perfect! Their outdoor seating is just out of this world. They have a LOT of seating, and we were on the brick patio just off the main building. It was beautiful- the property as a whole is like something out of a fairytale. There are flowers EVERYWHERE. The menu is enormous- our server, Steve, was absolutely fantastic! The menus are paper so he marked his suggestions (many of which we tried.) Honestly there wasn't a single disappointing item! I guess most of Steve's section had a birthday going on, so he did 1 song for everyone rather than one at each table- he is actually a really decent singer too! Since it was a birthday we had dessert even though we were stuffed. They did a birthday dessert in addition to what we ordered. It was rather pricey, but we were there to celebrate so we weren't watching the prices like we might normally. We will certainly be back!

Really nice place for a fancy dinner or lunch. The mango sangria was really good. The tapas sizes are pretty small. We didn’t like the cold tapas a lot. I have never had a cold omelet so it was weird. I wouldn’t recommend the cold tapas. However, the hot tapas were really good. We were 4 people and we had 5 tapas but were still a little hungry. It helped to have Paellas. Although we did place it earlier because it takes about 45 minutes for them to make it. Overall I would say that’s it’s worth trying it. Just a little expensive.

My first time trying Spanish food and it did not disappoint! The food here is freshly made and the different flavors are so great. We got an assortment of small plates and the seafood paella. Our server was very friendly and really made our experience memorable. Will be coming here again soon! The bacon wrapped dates are delicious🙌🏽🙏🏽🔥

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and finally made it… unfortunately I thought the food was just average, most tapas could use more sauce, I only liked the goat cheese with tomato sauce. The place and the surrounding garden is beautiful. Some friends shared that they had an amazing brunch menu but discontinued after COVID Parking is easy and for free

We were regular customers of this place for years until we moved out of Illinois. It is still one of our favorite places. We had our wedding reception here. The food is delicious. We have tried out almost everything on the menu and their weekend buffet. Our favorites are bacon wrapped dates, flan , potato salad, apple crepes, tomato soup. I will and always recommend this place to my friends and family.

We celebrated mothers Day a little early and had a wonderful lunch. We ordered the paella and several tapas. Oscar was our waiter and made the experience so much better. He was super detailed and very attentive. We recently had a very bad experience in another restaurant where we were completely ignored. It was so nice to come to Meson Sabika and have such a nice experience and have a waiter who is attentive , funny, and takes pride in their work. It really makes such a difference, the food is always delicious but the staff really makes this place one of my favorite restaurants.

Overall, a nice dining experience. The restaurant has lots of outdoor dining space along with the indoor seating. Definitely make a reservation as the place tends to get packed on nice evenings, making walk-ins difficult. There aren’t an abundance of vegetarian options, but they do have a handful that you can choose from. In terms of taste, I felt the food was exactly the same as other tapas restaurants in the greater Chicago area. Still, if you’re new to eating this type of food… you may enjoy it immensely. Just remember, small plates for sharing means you should probably order 2 plates per person and be okay.

This restaurant is definitely the best one I've been to in 20years of my life here in US. Flavors, textures of food plus the beauty of restaurant inside and out - simply exceptional👌 p.s. my boyfriend is not an easy one to please🤫 He won't ever waste the food but won't say much either if its "just" good. But this time he wouldn't stop talking about it

This place is spacious and looks fabulous. We sat outside. Ordered 7 tapas - crab, stuffed mushrooms, skirt steak, grilled chicken skewer, beef tenderloin skewer and grilled calamari. Everything tasted good. We wanted to order the chocolate cake but they were out. Instead ordered the pecan cheesecake. It was good.

Great food and excellent service. Make sure to order a variety of the tapas - both hot and cold you can't really go wrong. Can recommend the potato salad and bacon wrapped dates as two staples that we almost always order. Their sangria is also amazing - get a pitcher to share. They have a wide variety of flavors but I recommend the prickly pear, it's not super sweet but very refreshing and a unique flavor. If you're uncertain what to order, don't be afraid to ask the staff as they are very knowledgeable and more than willing to make helpful recommendations.

New Years Prix Fixe Dinner was great. The meal was a good experience. The pheasant was a bit gamy, but the rest were good. The ambiance of the mansion was a perfect way to celebrate the last day of the year.

Great experience!! I stumbled upon this beautiful Spanish tapas restaurant online and had only heard great things from friends. They did not disappoint-the food is well plated, delicious and authentic. Interesting drink menu with wonderful Spanish wines (we did a flight), and zero proof options for those who don't. Ambiance is a ten. Nestled in a mansion, that's more of an estate, the restaurant has unlimited seating in multiple gardens. Very nice on the weeknight for an intimate date with hubby. Service was a tad slow but David was still fantastic. Attentive, professional and friendly. I will be back for lunch, brunch and date nights!

As a wedding photographer, I've seen a lot of venues, but Mesón Sabika in Naperville really stands out. It's got this perfect mix of old-world charm and modern touches. The outdoor ceremony area is gorgeous, and the reception space has this fresh, modern feel. It's the kind of place where your photos will look magical. I didn’t do my research on this place but when we arrived it was a wedding happening on one side of it. It was beautifully decorated. It was dark outside but the location looked nice. Inside did feel like an old repurposed mansion as the name would suggest. We really enjoyed our food. Small portions good for sharing. Reservations were made well in advance. I’m excited to go back to this place in the summer.

Great place! The restaurant is very unique and beautifully decorated indoors and out. Staff is always present and very sweet. Food was amazing! All the dishes tasted perfect. 10/10 can’t wait to be back.

This was a beautiful Spanish restaurant to go on a date, have your anniversary, wedding banquet, work event, meeting dinner or just about anything relating to a good time. The food menu is great. The food is amazing and tasteful. It is by far one of the best tapas restaurants I have ever walked into. I really enjoyed my time there and loved how they took care of us. I recommend Meson Sabika to all my family, friends, co workers and just about anyone who asked me for recommendations in the Naperville area.

Great experience, we went for lunch on Sunday , weather helped so we sat outside, in what appears to be a courtyard or patio. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and patient with our orders. The food was great although my wife thinks the paella lacked a bit of flavor... The rice she means, but the presentation is the dish was amazing. Overall, I would not hesitate to go back; it is probably the best experience we've had in a long time. Average price per person was about $60, but that includes drinks. Keep up the good work.

Wow, amazing experience. We had some ideas for a tapas experience for Valentine’s Day. And boy were we satisfied. Let’s start with the food. Phenomenal! Absolutely amazing! The drinks were great! Highly recommend the Meson Bourbon and the sangria. The service is just phenomenal, we had an attentive waiter, paid attention to detail and even made recommendations. Will definitely come again.

The ambience was amazing, food was okay .Food choices on the menu was good both for vegan, vegetarian and non vegetarian. We had non alcoholic sangria which was good. All in all good one time experience. Our server was really nice too !

Went to Masón Sabika last month for brunch with the family. This is a tapas restaurant which is very unique for the area. The actual restaurant is an old 2 story Victorian style house with a rustic atmosphere. EVERY single item on the menu was full of different flavors and plated to perfection before arriving at the table. Service is top notch and they make sure your experience is perfect.

Great ambience and lively gardens. We were lucky and got seated on the front porch. Perfect day for people watching as there was a wedding happening. We had a fantastic waiter and the food was superb. Also pictured is the non-alcoholic sangria. A perfect mocktail for when you want something special but are trying to cut down on the alcohol intake 😬

The country house exterior was very unique. The property in general looks very classy, as well as the interior setting. Great tasting tapas once inside.

It's so thoughtful that they give us an anniversary champagne toast. It's the little ways that they go above and beyond that make dining here so enjoyable.
