This was one of our favorite places to eat on our week long Chicago trip. I had saved it to a very long google list of restaurants that had good reviews and we just happened to be close by one night we were hungry. It’s such a cool concept to get a card when you walk in, go to all the stations you want food from (huge selection), and then just pay for what’s on the card at the very end of your dining experience. The atmosphere is really chill, comfortable, and inviting. The only issue I had is that I wasn’t smart enough to work their complimentary phone chargers (lol...ugh!). The food was excellent. My wife and I split a salad and a pasta dish and had plenty to eat. We ate upstairs close to the bar and both had a couple of drinks that were both great. I REALLY wish we had one of these places where we live. We’d eat there weekly, guaranteed.

Great food made fresh, at incredibly reasonable prices! The atmosphere of the upstairs bar area is perfect for a casual dinner with friends.

I ordered through the Slice app to go. It was ready in like 8 minutes for pick up. The pizza is good, but they were skimpy with toppings. The tiramisu is pretty average. The cheesecake tasted strongly of lemon. Not a fan of that. It was pretty expensive for pizza. I think the other Vapiano's seating area is nicer. And they packed some oregano, pepper flakes, and parmesan, which is always great.

Two years ago I tried the Vapianos at Loop area! Now I tried the Magnificent mile location. My friend and I had a good night here. We both had past! It was a dinner date! I so enjoyed the night and the pasta! First time having pasta with chicken. It was a little pricey for extra chicken.

I must admit that the food quality in the US is generally much lower compared to Europe. The pizza looks good (except the black hair under it) but the taste... probably Lidl’s deep fried Pizza would beat it. That’s a pity, as I have eaten at Vapiano better ones outside of the US.

First time here and the hostess was very helpful in explaining how things worked. It was nice that it wasn't busy (weekday, late-ish dinner), so I didn't feel rushed and could ask questions. Quick, REAL food! I tried to stay on the lighter side with a salad and bruschetta. The ceasar salad seemed like it had too much dressing and parmesan cheese to be considered a light choice, but it sure was delicious! Bruschetta Duo was yummy, and they have olive oil and balsamic on every table if you need an extra drizzle. I did also to try the drink special After Orange and liked it. It was like a orange creamsicle, but not too sweet.

I love Italian food. Can’t go wrong with hearty food once in a while. I do love vapianos because it has the feel of a fast food restaurant but manages to create an authentic style of cooking. You get to experience the Chef’s making the food but not for too long. It’s a quick process and it’s actually fun to see how they make it. This picture represents the dessert I had or to be specific the chocolate mousse. It’s not too sweet and tastesamazing. Very creamy and even though, it looks small - it’s pretty sizable for two people. I hope you get to try it!

Delicious and reasonable price!! The only bad thing might be waitress recommending drinks so heavily. But you can choose just say no thank you
