Walked here for a semi-quick lunch during a conference as a solo diner, and I loved it! Opted for a little bit lighter fare (lemon herb salmon salad) since I had to stay awake for my afternoon sessions and couldn't easily manage leftovers, but otherwise I absolutely would have tried something from the sweeter side that creates the delicious aroma filling the space. I did treat myself to a pistachio-flavored latte, mild in sweetness and flavor but nice. Sat at the counter for immediate seating and got great service. The tables were fairly full, and there was a steady clamor from conversations. I was able to get my ticket in a timely fashion and paid via QR code with my phone so I could walk back to my conference venue within my 90-minute lunch break.

This place was great. We got in with no wait, it's very spacious. The decore was cute. And the food...oh boy! There were very gracious servings and it was amazing!!! Definitely reccomend going here. And it's very near tourist attractions so it's convenient to go to.

Went there at around 10:30am, Saturday in late August. The restaurant was busy so had to wait for a table / signed in on the waiting list. After about 10-15 minutes, I received the text message that our table was ready. Service throughout was outstanding. A special thanks to our waitress Leslie M. Food portions are large and perfect to be shared by two. I ordered the 'Hey Ricky' omelette and substituted the pancakes for a nutella crepe. The omelette was perfect and delicious and the crepe was a nice dessert. The coffee was light but tasted good. Was seated in a booth which was nice. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very busy but cozy at the same time. Very nice! Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We got there around 8:20 and we were warmly greeted at the door. The place wasn't packed and we were seated in a booth. Our server shortly came to take our orders. We started of with drinks and ordered a very berry French toast and the breakfast mac & cheese (turkey sausage instead of ham). We were very surprised by how quickly our food was prepared and even more surprised & pleased by how delicious it was. The portion for both meals was generous and enough for breakfast and the price was also reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and will definitely go back. I highly recommend this place for a quick breakfast but I suggest going there before 9:30 because it starts getting really packed after that.

This was my first ever brunch in the US (since I live in Europe) and was so so good. The place is so nice and it’s located very close to some famous sightseeing places like the “Bean”, so it’s perfect for a weekend brunch and strollz. 😍 The food was also really good, especially the avocado toast and the pancakes. Loved the banana latte as well. The only thing I didn’t like were the potatoes and the omelette, cuz there is too much onion / garlic in them, but that’s my preferences. Overall can’t wait to visit this place again. ❤️

Love this place. My Eggs Benedict was perfect, and the house made hollandaise did not disappoint. The cheesy grits were PERFECT, and the oatmeal and fresh berries were a delight. Service was prompt and attentive, and the decor is bright and cheerful, despite the dreary rain outside. Highly recommend this establishment for breakfast/brunch. We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic breakfast spot. Delicious French toast. Everything is done well and done right. Whenever you want a good breakfast look no further. Service is also really good and quick. And the prices are right as well. You can tell that everything cooked was fresh as this place is always busy and thus flips tables regularly. I would recommend this to any one in the area or traveling and in need of breakfast.

Food was good! I had an omelet several times that week and the one from Yolk was by far the best! The potatoes that came with it were just okay... they could have been crisper. Pancakes were good, but nothing special. We ordered the following: Cinnamon roll French toast, banana nut bread French toast, side of bacon. The Works omelet that came with a side of seasoned potatoes and pancakes.

good breakfast food, but the portions are HUGE (like…too big…) - except for drinks, which are teeny tiny. vegetarian, vegan, and gf options. very attentive servers.

I arrived before 9 and didn’t have to wait. I’ve got California Omelette, very rich flavors, with tomato, avocado, garlic inside, and cheeses topping. Oh and mushrooms, love mushrooms. But next time I may try a simpler omelette. To much ingredients made me forget I am eating egg. I tend to have giant breakfast so I also ordered a waffle. It comes with four small waffles. The waffles are great! Very soft inside. Eat it together with maple syrup ~ love it! The Latte is not what I expected. The smell of coffee is not enough for me, a bit too diluted. But good to have it with waffle.

Came to get breakfast on a Sunday morning. Luckily there wasn't a wait and we got a table right away. Menu had lots of great breakfast and brunch options. We got the California omelette and it was good, a little on the heavy side. The eggs and pancakes was great though. Great place for breakfast and brunch! Will come back and try other stuff for sure

This place was great. We came in and it was a bit packed but the wait was no more than 15 minutes for us. The service was very attentive and the eggs benedict was incredible. Their french toast was worth getting as an extra side!

This was our first time eating here and it was fabulous! Only a two minute walk from our hotel which is a huge plus. It was so bright and modern on the inside. I ordered a caramel latte, red velvet French toast, and cheese grits. All so delicious!! Our waitress was so friendly and overall just great!

We ate here 3 out of four times for breakfast during our long weekend in Chicago. Great service and wonderful tasty food. We always got a table right away. Sunday was the busiest day, so the dining room filled up fast with large groups. Every dish I tried was very tasty: crepes filled with avocado, eggs, cheese and Greek yogurt with honey and fresh berries and oatmeal cook with oat milk with fresh berries in top. The coffee, sadly, is not great. Ketchup is served in a single-serving stainless steel ramekin No idea if it is Heinz ketchup or not.

Fast and friendly service. Food was healthy proportions and being able to order a carafe of juice is a great option. The location is great as it's near many of the hotels in the loop.

Cute atmosphere upon walking in. Other than being greeted by door person and walked to table, we waited about 10 min before anyone came by and it was the runner bringing water. In total we waited about 15 min+ and no server ever came by so we vacated the table and went to the dining counter. After that things moved more quickly. Food was flavorful, nice portions. Pancakes were SUPER fluffy and light, really delicious!!!

1st time eating here. It was good. I had the banana crunch blueberry and the banana nut bread French toast with the yolk all-star, added on potatoes. The potatoes is why I gave 4 stars. Although they were seasoned pretty well, they were a tad under cooked. Overall still would recommend and eat here again.

Loved the food. Crepes were delicious and got an egg scramble with potatoes; service was also amazing! They have so many options and creative food choices which I enjoyed, and will come back to try them all for sure. Wait times can be super busy in the morning but I am down to wait for a delicious breakfast or brunch!!

Arrived at this cute restaurant and was immediately seated, which was so nice. We got our food very quickly and the waiter was great. The downside was my sandwich(which comes out to you pre-cut) was maybe rushed? I ate the one half of my sandwich was absolutely delicious, but when I went to eat the other half there wasn’t much for the Bacon part of the BLTSMA (their take on a BLT). Coffee was great. And before leaving our waiter asked if I wanted some to go. Was a nice addition to be able to take it on the go.

There are several locations of Yolk, I’m glad we decided to visit this one . The wait wasn’t long on a Sunday morning around 10am. We were seated and served quickly. I had the corn beef hash , not a normal order for me , but I thoroughly enjoyed it . My husband had a basic breakfast of grits , eggs , meats and a waffle . We were pleasantly surprised to see they had grits ( we’re from Nola ) the waffle was soft and airy . Overall the food and service were really good . I really enjoyed their hot sauce too.

We came here as a family of 3 without reservations and got right in! Very busy place with quick service. Our server was polite and got our orders right. Food was tasty and fun and definitely worth a visit. Close to a lot. We started off with a carafe of the orange-strawberry juice and pour over coffee and each order different items- all great.

This was my first time at this chain after wanting to try it for some time now. I absolutely loved it the homemade corned beef was the best I ever had and my son was a big fan of the pancakes. Update: I went back and had the salmon and eggs. So delicious

Insanely delicious!!!! I visited this place on a Monday morning around 10am and it was very quiet. I got a table right away. Good service and the best part......Banana Nut bread French toast...OMG! Super moist bread and not too sweet. Wow! Can't wait to go back to Chi-town

Walking by this restaurant was busy and inviting. Definitely a great selection of food choices on the menu. We ordered the pot roast sandwich with fries and the smoke salmon scramble with pancakes. We were greeted by friendly staff and didn’t wait long for our table. Coffee was hot and always full. The pot roast sandwich was okay. The smoked salmon scramble was not good at all. Salmon tasted like metal-mush and the eggs were flat and hard almost. I have never sent food back but had to with this plate. The potatoes tasted boiled and not like home fries. I asked for basic scrambled eggs and bacon for a replacement meal. Again the eggs were flat, hard, and watery. I could not eat the eggs. The server and manager were very nice! I would return to try something else. I was bummed that a place named for eggs could not make decent eggs.

When in a city brunch places are my thing! We visited Yolks twice in a four day visit so that's a sign! They have a spacious dining room including booths for two people which I miss at busy and popular brunch spots. On arrival we were greeted promptly for seating. The menu as their name suggests has amazing options for an egg lover. My husband loved the perfectly tasty omelette, scrambled eggs, and french toast. The fruits were fresh. The drip coffee refills were generous. Their staff does a great job at checking on you. Most important win for me was the fact that menu was customizable and I could skip eggs. I ordered avocado toast without salmon and chilaquiles verde without eggs. Both tasted great. I would highly recommend this spot for your brunch when in the city!

Superb! Wide selection of choices. From different types of bread, different types of milk to pancakes or French toast. How do you like your eggs?? For those of you on the East Coast, I would say this was similar to First Watch but First Watch on steroids!😋

While in Chicago, a few weeks ago, we had breakfast here a couple of mornings. Good food, good service by professional and patient staff. They were very busy both days and our large group were able to sit together. The omelet was tasty and cooked just right. I would certainly go again on my next trip.
