THE FOOD IS WAY OVERPRICED FOR THE QUALITY OF FOOD URE SERVED. WE SPENT 200 BUCKS ON 2 KIDS MEALS, A BURGER, 1 PASTA DISH AND 2 CHICKEN PLATES. OUR SERVER CAME FREQUENTLY AND WAS PLEASANT. I THINK URE REALLY PAYING FOR THE AMBIANCE. THE ATTRACTIONS ARE WELL KEPT. THEY MOVE AND MAKE SOUNDS. THERES ALSO A WATERFALL WHICH IS PRETTY NEAT AND A GIFT STORE. OVERALL, ITS A NICE PLACE TO TAKE UR CHILDREN AT LEAST ONCE.

Overall: Come for the atmosphere, stay for the surprisingly good food. Rainforest is a tourism staple that won't disappoint the family. The good: Obviously the atmosphere is over-the-top and fun. You're surrounded by a ton of plants, animals, water, and a variety of noises. The menu is surprisingly large and well varied, which will probably please anyone in a group. The food itself was above my low expectations and came out hot. Service was friendly and the seating was clean. The not-so-good: Expensive. Even if you go bare bones with just the basics (sandwiches, salads, soups), you're looking at ~$15. If you want something more, whether it's apps, a platter, drinks, etc., be prepared to spend $40+ per person. Which, in all honesty, is way too much. Food/Drink: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Atmosphere: 8/10

This place was just okay, not thoroughly impressed. No reservation but the wait time wasn't horrible (35 - 45 minutes). They have an overpriced retail store with lots of options to assist with the wait. The dining area was unbelievably HOT & MUGGY and the food wasn't that great! It was either bland or over seasoned, no middle ground. I myself had the "Korean Spicy Stir Fry Chicken" and it was incredibly salty! I left with a hypertensive headache. On a positive note, our server was excellent! He was very attentive and personable. Overall, my children loved this place but that's simply because of the atmosphere. I don't see us going back anytime soon but I may be willing to give them another try, one day in the distant future. Most likely in the fall or winter time when the restaurant isn't as hot.

What a great place to take kids of all ages. The food was a bit pricey but it was worth it. They also have a gentleman making balloon animals for the children. I will definitely be back when I get to Chicago

We were seated when we got in. but than waited for over 30 minutes for a waiter to show up. this place was not crowded. lots of staff was sitting around and just staring at our table instead of hosting us. no manager or staff came by to apologize for the wait. food was okay. steak undercooked not worth it. saving grace was the atmosphere, the rainforest feel is cool but the staff was not. very unlikely to return!

Fantastic place! Great atmosphere, staff, decor, pretty good food, special experience. I've passed by for years and had no idea it was this good. It's not hype or cheaply made. My 10-year-old nephew says, "It's a great place for kids because they're not too bored or overwhelmed, and the food is very good." My teenage niece says, "It didn't disappoint."

5 Stars for the EXPERIENCE. 3-4 Stars for the food. It was good but food wise in Chicago you have some steep competition, I think Applebee's and TGI Fridays is on par. We loved the balloon animals and the experience was worth the price. One kids meal and an adult meal with a Coke was $40.

I love this place. Super child friendly! Place: The atmosphere and music jives along. The idea of having a jungle inspired restaurant in Chicago downtown is such a genius! The concept unleash the child of me. Touring around makes you realize how beautiful the wildlife animals are! Coz they are actually moving here! Food: Foods are awesome tasty! I forgot the name but I really like it and I’ve got a drink with a souvenir of a pretty parrot. Hehe! Overall, great food offers! Price: Price is moderately high but worth it! Promise! Service: Excellent! The staff is very friendly and helpful. He knows everything in the menu. Also, very accommodating. Parking: Well, parking in Chicago downtown is really a headache.

Pretty cool place... Good food... But very noisy! If you have kids they will enjoy... A bit pricey as well

It's a nice place to be for everyone. Kids and adults alike will surely like its jungle-themed souvenir and resto. Staff were very warm and friendly when we were there. Our kids enjoyed being there. Food was great too.

The food was very good. The decor and atmosphere is designed for families with smaller children. (The 12 year old girl with us was not impressed. ) I feel like made us wait unnecessarily because the first floor dining area was completely empty and so we're several tables upstairs. Maybe they were trying to sway us to purchase items from the store.

Awesome place! I’ve been to a handful of area that had one of these and never went in. Finally, I’m Chicago there was one right next to my hotel so I gave it a shot. Extremely cool atmosphere and decor, and if I had kids I would go out of my way to bring them here. Prices were very fair for the area and food was delicious

The food was very fresh and tasty. The service was very friendly and efficient. When we mentioned it was my friends birthday they very quickly brought out a Sparkling Volcano dessert and saying Happy Birthday to her.
