This is a family owned & run place and they are doing hell of a job. Food is so fresh and authentic here, it tastes so amazing. Its full of rich flavor. I travel with my gf to different places and we always try to dine at Indian restaurant once at-least and we have never been this happy with food before. Its also my first time I am giving a 5 star rating to a Indian restaurant.

My husband and I drove from Wisconsin to have dinner at Chicago Curry House. As a family that has traveled all over the world and with eclectic palettes, we were desperately seeking to match the dining experience we’re accustomed to overseas. Chicago Curry House did not disappoint. Their menu was extensive and the food was superb. Every bite was delightful and each more tantalizing than the last. The portions were generous and we left happy and more than satisfied. The atmosphere was warm and inviting as were the staff. We will certainly visit Chicago Curry House again. It was absolutely and most definitely worth the drive.Thank You!!

This is a fantastic restaurant. The meat was higher quality than we have experienced and many similar places. The service was friendly and attentive and the food came out quickly and tasted delicious. The portions are good and the prices are reasonable. There are so many things I want to try on their menu, we'll have to plan another trip to Chicago!

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE!! There are no words to explain the euphoric dining experience at The Chicago Curry House! From beginning to end the food was absolutely delicious, the service top tier and the atmosphere was divine! The owner was so hospitable, he treated my cousin and I like family. We left with our bellies and hearts full!

This is hands-down, the best Indian food in Chicago. I’ve been coming in and also ordering it for delivery for years. Specifically you have to order the madras chicken curry. It’s unique and really something special. Of course they do a good butter chicken and their Aloo Mutter is also good. Something that sets them apart from other places is the chicken curry dishes all have chicken that is hand pulled - not dry cubes of precooked chicken like most places use. Trust me a take it from a brown person.

The owner is extremely personable. He recognized that we were not regulars and ensured our experience was perfect. The food was hot and fresh, the buffet was affordable and the staff were welcoming. He shared his customer return rate of 90% and we confirmed he can count on us as two new regulars! Will definitely be coming back.

I used to eat here when I wanted a comfort meal of spices and flavors while in college. Returned again recently with a close friend and it still holds the inviting and flavorful feeling. From the drinks to the dishes, everything is wonderful. Bala makes the place even more lovely. Will always keep coming back and highly recommend!… dug into the appetizers and mains right away but caught a photo of the perfect dessert to finish the meal!

It might not be the fanciest restaurant but it is hidden gem. Food was all fresh and delicious. We had goat menu which was bone in, it had too many bones but they added extra meat for us(great service). Chicken menu was very spicy but pleasantly. Next time we will try all you can eat!

The Staff is very accommodating and friendly. The ambiance is perfect too! Lite jazz softly playing and the restaurant is super clean. You can tell they take pride in providing an upscale experience. All glasses and utensils were obviously polished and that is a huge plus. Last but not least, the food and drinks are superb! Best Nepalese/Indian food in Chicago and the prices are on point!

Excellent dinner! After spending the day downtown we decided to do dinner here. Great choice! We kept it simple but everything was really delicious. We did an order of the Chicken Saag (curried chicken and spinach) and Chicken Korma (coconut curry with chicken and almonds!) along with an order of naan. More than enough food for the two of us with some leftovers to take home. Everyone gave fantastic, friendly service. Luckily they have another restaurant in Little India so we don’t need to travel to the South Loop for it!

Fresh lemongrass and cilantro anyone? πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™€οΈ A quiet place for lunch but the flavor packs a punch. Momo, garlic naan and curry chicken were delicious. Restaurant was very clean. Worth the quick walk off Michigan Ave.

Our rainy day outing turned into an early lunch and we decided to go for some Nepalese food. To start off, it was the fresh mixed veg pakoda that made us believe that we are in for a treat. We decided on a goat curry, chicken biryani and chicken tikka masala and plain rice with some keema naan. Naan was freshly made and biryani was also equally good. The tikka masala was decent same as any other Indian dish in America.Overall, I would give our dining experience a thumps up and would go back if I am in the area.

Great spot for desi food in South loop area. The fried chicken momos are my favorite items on the menu followed by the chili chicken curry. The filling of the momos are very flavorful, the chili chicken curry is the perfect balance of chicken, veggies, and very subtly acidic curry sauce. The one downfall of this place is that sometimes the food here isn't consistent and your dish may be amazing one day but not as good the next time you order.

Food was very good! I got the non vegetarian combo (buffet on a plate version) for $25 and it was very delicious- especially the butter chicken! Comes with dessert (rice pudding). The owner guy came to check on us to make sure we liked our food and he was very friendly and delivered great customer service. I highly recommend this place and will come back when I’m back in Chicago again!

I've frequented this Nepali culinary gem multiple times, and it undeniably stands as my preferred spot! The curries burst with vivid hues and an explosion of exquisite flavors. The meat is remarkably tender, and the momosβ€”irresistibly delectable! The Shirley Temples offer a delightful palate experience. The owner's attentiveness shines through, ensuring every dish is meticulously crafted. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for those seeking a diverse and flavorful culinary journey

I absolutely loved this place, this was my first time trying authentic Indian food. From the start, we were greeted with kindness, and seated. Minimum wait time for our food to arrive. Now, to get me started with the food from veggie samosas to veggie vindaloo, and the naan bread my expectations were exceeded!
