My girlfriend made reservations at the Kendall college Dining Room for my birthday. It was the perfect evening. The servers were excellent and the food was so great. This is such a hidden gem in our City. The word is that they are moving down to Michigan Ave (across from milenium park in the next few weeks. Be sure to check it out. Support the students and have an awesome experience.

Wonderful experience! The students were all very attentive and enthusiastic. Plenty of options on the menu and what a deal for the pre fixe, 3 courses for $40. While we were unaware because of how much we were enjoying the experience, we were told there was a delay with the mains and in return we were brought an extra dessert and round of cocktails. Will be back for sure!

3 courses dinner of very reasonable price and also drinks! Serving was a bit slow and amateur but it was totally fine. Because they are still learning. Dishes were delicious, even complimentary bread was really good. I was obsessed with a sourdough bread. If it was available, I would take out one. It was really pleasant experience to meet and talk with culinary students. I would like to visit again anytime soon.

I have been here at least FIVE TIMES. Food and service isn't perfect (sometimes very salty) but the experience is just always so fun and the amuse buche surprises are my fav! I want to go back but very difficult to get reservations-they only have a select number of tables. It used to be byob which was great! I can't wait to go back! The bread and butter is always so good! The desserts are never overly sweet (in a good way). They always have thorough descriptions on the menu, the menu is not simple which I love- sometimes I need to look up words even though I'm a foodie- this is what I love- learning and eating interesting food. I loved watching the students cook behind the glass walls too.

The dining experience was excellent, featuring a unique concept where students create their own dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered; they were all delicious. The drinks were enjoyable, and the service was exceptional. Considering the price, this experience is unbeatable. Furthermore, the restaurant offers a great view of Millennium Park. I would certainly revisit in the future.

Kendall College! The student & instructor staff provides a wonderful dining experience. With a prix fixe-only menu which has a nice variety, and really delivers. Appetizer plates and main course were standouts. Fresh, artful presentation meets on-point execution. Perfect seasonings. Quite satisfying. Service was very good as well. No complaints whatsoever. Best part is the tips are added to a fund for underprivileged students to assist with scholarships. Heartwarming! Go!

Morgan Mason was amazing!!! We had the full experience and the food was great, but Morgan’s service REALLY stood out. He was so kind and gave amazing detail about the food we were given. I would definitely dine with him again!

Very good service and food! The students and manager were very nice. We received a small chocolate and vodka welcome cocktail that was great! The restaurant is also not loud or crowded in anyway and had a very intimate feel which was perfect for dates :) The arancini, dry aged duck, and carrot cake were our favorites!

We loved this spot, such a cool idea to have culinary students create, serve, bartend do everything in a restaurant. Food was delicious. You can get a table next to the open kitchen and the window getting two wonderful views! Everyone was very kind and service was great. Pricing wise, very affordable! Highly recommend.

Wonderful dining experience. Delicious food, warm and welcoming service. Attentive staff. Great price for a 3course prix fixe menu. The food plating and presentation was really nice. Beautiful and pleasant ambience, best view Magnificent mile.

The prix fixe menu had a great selection and the students knew their stuff. Scotty and Girish helped me pick out wines to go with each course and the ginger and hibiscus cocktail Arjoon whipped up at the start of the night was delightful. We started with the Ribeye Carpaccio and the Tuna Saku Tiradito which were both delicious. The Aji Amarillo was perfect along side the tuna. For the mains we had the Chicken Roulade and the Striped Black Bass with the green coconut broth. Personally I preferred the bass but the chicken was lovely! For dessert I had a great take on a Gateau Basque, I felt the Gateau could’ve had more of the Spiced Masala Apple but the chocolate swiss role is always a classic in my house and was very enjoyable!

Nice dining, good food, and clean atmosphere. It's a teaching environment for chefs in training so it makes dining a little more interesting.

Undiscovered gem of chicago! Students are so committed and go above and beyond to create a great experience. The view is magnificent, very affordable and gives a great peak into the culinary process. Andrea and Roohi were the best servers! Highly recommend

Such a nice, unique experience! The students (Andrea and Roohi were our servers) all provided excellent, personal service and the food was delicious for an amazing price given the quality. Hidden gem for sure.

Great price for a 3-course prix fixe, decent wine list and mock-tail options. Staff were attentive. Great views of Milennium Park. Food presentation is insta-gram worthy. Food was really good, nice to try new things at a fraction of the price elsewhere. Will def go again. These are the culinary stars of tomorrow. Edit 7/24/23 - The college is hosting a series for different countries (Italy, France, Spain). Went to the Spanish night dinner. Enjoyable meal, highly recommend.

Currently under the lead of Chef Ryan. Loved the food! My party of 6 tried multiple dishes and we were completely astonished! Perfect temp on the steak, fish dishes were perfectly balanced, and the pork chop was a favorite at our table. Kudos to the students and chef! Cant wait to go back!

The chefs and servers are all students. The 1st courses and entrees were outstanding. The desserts need a little more work: overcooked, textures and flavors could be better. The servers were very polite and earnest...they just need more confidence. Highly recommend for a phenomenal experience.
