I am giving a 3 stars for several reasons. First the hostess at the entrance was rude and only interested in her phone. Not a great first impression for new people trying a restaurant. The second is that when you open at 4 the whole restaurant should be open if you cant be ready at 4pm then open at 5pm. We were told we had to sit downstairs until 5pm because the staff upstairs was not ready????? They were so busy training new staff that customers were not being a priority. The third is the food. It was not good. The chips and Queso were just okay, not bad but nothing to brag about. The fried chicken sandwich, again just that, not a lot of flavor or reason to order again. We enjoyed the young man who waited on us he deserves to be the host because he was very kind, helpful and concerned with us as customers (thank you!). Overall, fun place for entertainment but not eating the menu is sparse to say the least and food is just okay.

Really nice spot to hangout with friends or take someone on a date. Good food, vibes, and service. Properly plan because it is hard to get a table, and you would have to wait up to an hour for the bowling alley. While you wait you can grab drinks and something to eat, have a conversation before you bowl.

Think of it this way… this place is 85% for the experience and 15% for the food and drinks. Photo ops are a THE THING to do here along with options for bowling, karaoke, pool, and other games! If I do say so myself, their Green Chorizo loaded fries is totally worth it. My friend and I ordered it (after we had dinner) and we both agreed that these were FIRE. Our table ended up getting two more orders of this! Drinks are pricey everywhere, but at least they are decent here.

For a place that charges $15 for an old fashioned, this should never occur. The taste was even worse than the look! Only reason I am giving this place two stars is because I shouldn’t knock all of it. And it ain’t like the rest of it ain’t cheap. Do better if you are going to charge these rates. I don’t blame the staff, they are all doing the best they can. This message is for those people who manage this place. The onus of this failure falls on you. I do not recommend this place nor will I return. Good luck to you 🙏🏼

This place was suggested to me as a place to take teenage girls. I didn't know what to expect bc I'm not from Chicago. The hostess warmly welcomed us when we came and took us to our seating. We did make a reservation because we were told it stays pretty packed. I can see that for a Friday or Saturday night. We visited at 2 pm on a Sunday so it wasn't too packed. Our server was really nice and made some good suggestions. The girls ordered burgers and a waffle. I had the Bison chili cheese fries. It was a winner! The girls noshed on my fries and we all agreed that the were amazing. To me, the menu wasn't that great so I didn't order anything else. I don't know if it was because of a limited brunch menu or if that was the regular menu. So, this place offers many games. We ended up playing a card game at the table (Cards Against Humanity) and became so indulged in the game that we didn't have time to play anything else. This is definitely a place I'd visit again and again. And it's date night friendly, family friendly, single friends friendly and couples nights friendly.

Good place to hangout with your friends especially if you are a night person. This place is open till 2 AM with a few games around it as well. French fries were delicious. Cilantro wings and the shrimp polenta were good. It is slightly expensive for the quantity they have provided though. Bowling is also available till 2AM but I would suggest you reserve a slot as it is really difficult to get an alley during the nights. Food- 4/5 Ambience-4/5 Activities-5/5 Cost -3/5 (slightly expensive) Would definitely recommend spending their Friday night with your friends.

Bowling alley, game spot, bar, restaurant all in one for some fun! Really enjoyed punch bowl social. Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday with some bowling and we had an amazing time. Clean facility with a good option of games to keep you entertained. The only thing is the service is a bit slow and it will take you some time to get your drinks but to be expected when a place is busy.

Punch Bowl Social has a great interior and vibe with lots of games - Bowling and Darts was particularly impressive for me. The happy hour pricing is hard to beat in West Loop. Food was good too. The featured punch tasted really good! Our server Angelica was great as well. She was prompt with orders and gave us great information about the place. Another plus was we got to taste their signature cocktails before ordering them. Will be back soon!!

Really cool vintage arcade vibes and environment. I would come here for the looks alone. Punch bowl was decent and great for groups. The shrimp polenta was also delicious. Server was polite and friendly to boot.

This place is great! Primarily went to go bowling, which is $18 per person for an hour. We did have to wait about an hour to get a lane, but there was plenty of other stuff to keep us busy in the meantime. They extended our bowling time for free so we could finish our second game since no one was queued behind us! Sunday evening is a great time to go if you don’t want it to be too crowded.

Visiting for the week for work retreat; it had been about 3 years since I’ve been to this location (in my former neighborhood). I don’t know if it’s just the weekday “vibe” but overall there was such a negative energy. Multiple times we were stopped when just trying to enter and find our private event and not in a helpful way. It seemed like the entire venue was closed off for private events so what used to be a great and freeing experience enjoying all the venue has to offer turned into a sub par, restricted visit. Our server was great taking orders and bringing food but other than her, the other employee seemed to be bothered; even our server PROMPTLY started cleaning up around us as the clock struck the ending time of our private event. I actually wanted to show my coworker around as she was visiting. We entered the (empty) bar back and we’re ignored until I asked if there was a private event. The bartender replied “yeah” without even acknowledging us at first. Downstairs, I wanted to check out the happy hour esque bar- we walked in just to see if there was outdoor space and as we walked out, I said to my colleague “oh this must be a private event as well”. As we were walking out, I heard the bartender rudely and passive aggressively say to another worker “why are people walking in here???!” which led to that employee following us out. I even said “oh another space where we’re about the be booted” but he was stopped by another customer with a question. Overall, a great space back in the day that had potential but feel like it’s not turned into a restrictive, not fun, adult Chuck E. Cheese where you can’t even engage with most games, if any at all. I honestly felt bad and a little embarrassed that my team from around the country had such a sub par experience in Chicago.

This place is fantastic. My girlfriend brought me here to celebrate my birthday. I had The Knock Off Burger & Cauliflower nachos! From the first bite to the last, The Knock Off Burger proved to be an absolute delight for the taste buds. The presentation alone was enticing, with the burger being stacked high with two juicy, perfectly cooked patties, crisp lettuce, and a slice of melted cheddar cheese. The bun was soft and slightly toasted with sesame seeds, providing a sturdy foundation for the explosion of flavors within. The patty itself was the star of the show. Cooked to perfection, it was tender and juicy, with a delightful char on the outside that added a smoky depth to each bite. The seasoning was balanced, enhancing the natural flavors of the meat without overpowering them. The addition of the melted cheddar was a fantastic choice, as it added a creamy richness that complemented the savory elements of the burger. Accompanied by a side of golden, perfectly seasoned fries, The Knock Off Burger managed to strike the ideal balance between indulgence and satisfaction. The portion size was generous, leaving me comfortably full but not overly stuffed. Each bite was a symphony of flavors and textures that left me longing for more even after I had finished. The cauliflower florets were roasted to perfection, achieving a delightful balance between tender and slightly crispy. The seasoning was spot on, providing a hint of spice that was nicely tempered by the cooling avocado sauce. The toppings added a wonderful medley of flavors and textures, from the creamy queso to the zingy jalapeños & onions. While the Cauliflower Nachos were undoubtedly tasty, there were moments when I missed the hearty crunch of traditional tortilla chips. The cauliflower, while delicious, did not provide quite the same satisfying bite that I associate with classic nachos. However, for those looking to indulge in a guilt-free version of this beloved dish, the Cauliflower Nachos are a creative and satisfying choice.

Incredible food and vibe for this game venue. We came not even knowing they also offered games as we were looking for great food. The food was incredible. Our service was even better. Pablo was a kind, gracious and frankly, hilarious, host. We felt right at home in this Midwest venue. Cheers!

The food, cocktails, and service was great! The bowling lanes were a bit touchy and needed to have balls unstuck, etc. a couple times. The place is very open with a huge floor plan and we were basically the only ones in here. This made it a bit creepy, but if you had several hundred people celebrating your event it would be a much better fit. Overall it was a great experience.

Fun place for a casual get-together. Darts, pool, bowling, ping pong, classic arcade games, and more in a relaxed environment. Some of the equipment is beat up (especially one of the bowling lanes and one of the dart boards), but it's still lots of fun.

Fun atmosphere for a date, or a family/friend night. Did not order any food so I can’t comment on that. Pro, decent happy hour options. Con, not a lot of selection of craft beers. Overall fun experience, would definitely come back again.

Love the atmosphere it was nothing but good vibes. Everybody kept to themselves. There were a few altercations that were taken care of and if you come after a certain hour they don’t have the full menu so we had access to very limited things. I had the truffle fries, which was cold by the time I got to the middle because it was so many, other than that it was a great experience overall

I think the foods and drinks are really good. Good location and fair prices on the F&B. However, I think the price for activities are quite expensive. The bowling lane is not oil at all. But overall, pretty great place to hang out with friends.

I really enjoyed this space. It's so inviting and really is a great place to entertain. The staff is super friendly and the punch is the bomb. Food is good too but this space just gave me such great Vibes I look forward to coming back soon.

From the view of an attendee to a company holiday party- The place is great with more than enough seating and areas to mingle, our event menu wasn't a sit down and dine setup n more like a nibble and drink and socialize. N that skews my food review as barely worth hunting for as the various locations of bites seem to be tucked away or hidden, so if you don't make it an effort to really walk around in every area you're likely to miss a delicious snack/appetizer. The bar has great service even in a backed up rush. Has a great retro vibe thus fitting for an 80s theme event with a live band. ... what ever you do don't lose your game card, saw way too many stressing with staff throughout the night for a private event, you would think that staff would just hand you another without a 2nd thought as they are preprogrammed for unlimited play for a private event.

Went for a work outing and the service was great. Everyone was very attentive. The atmosphere was awesome with great views of the surrounding area. I did see some prices on signs and does look like it could be quite expensive if you came on a regular day and wanted to enjoy yourself.

LGBTQ+ friendly atmosphere! Great food, many entertainment options, variety of drinks on the menu, had nice non-alcoholic options got a fruity spritzer and it was pretty good! Building is very neat and there's a bunch of things that make good photo backgrounds. Security checked us in at the door everyone was nice check in was fast.

Great little space that seems perfect for small parties. The staff was great and the drinks were good. I arranged a reserved work event and paid for the lanes and drinks, it was a bit more than I expected but definitely competitive to other locations. I did feel that they tried hard to push the food platters a bit harder than they should, but honestly at the extremely high prices ($75??) It just wasn't affordable given everything else we bought. Fun space!

Punch Bowl Social is such a great venue! Huge space! At least 6 bowling alleys and at least two large bars. Plenty of stuff to do.

It was nice play to meet with friends and have a spot for ourselves. There was few negative things we all experienced. It did take sometimes 15- 20 minutes to get the drinks since they were ordered, and the Mojito's tastes like sparking water with lemon. No mint, asked to make then right, and got the same result. There was no mint leaves at all either! I switched to long Island. Food did take quite a while to get to our table. 40 minutes wait for simple hummus with extras. While playing one game of bowling, the computer froze and we couldn't play. It took us 20 minutes of looking for front desk personnel, or anyone to come help us. Besides that, it was nice place, although it was more than a thousand bucks for 8 people reservation for 3 hours we were there

We’ve only been here 30 min and i don’t know if they hire the Security Guards from an outside company or straight from their own hiring but I dont think they realize that without people, they won’t have any business, & because the ignorance is GLOWING on the security woman it’s suppose to be my fault she can’t find a DOB on a passport? First she wants to turn the party of 10+ away, and then she wants to stick her nose where it don’t belong when explaining to the door people what went wrong? How unprofessional! She needs to learn how to talk to people because it’s no one’s fault but her own that she has an attitude. I’d like to very much as for a supervisor to reach out because she could have ruined my friends birthday experience that we chose to come here to spend our money at. 7 out of the 10 people here will not be recommending this place to our friends.

Such a disappointing experience. Our hostess was going to help us then forgot (there was no one else waiting for help). She led us to an attendant that was to help us with games. Not once did he look up from the duffel bag he was busy trying to zip closed. We asked for darts. There were only 3 darts in total and one of them didn't have a flight on it. It didn't matter because the dart boards were in such bad condition (the metal that makes the point divisions was bent, warped, and lifting off of the board) that we couldn't even play. We left. Bottom line, it didn't seem the employees cared if we were there or not and the "fun" activities were anything but. The place has so much potential. Too bad.

The food is good but could be better. The games are good but could be cheaper. Everything you see in the website you have to pay extra unless you just want to play UNO or board games at your table. I would appreciate more if they charge at the entrance at let you enjoy everything instead of keep asking for money for every activity. Definitely overpriced but you will have a great time!

  • 5/5 Brian C. 2 years ago on Google
Very cool large space with an area kind of like an old 19th century private club. Good food and beer. They have video and table games. Board games were a bit lacking, but they had a private karaoke room. Super fun.

  • 3/5 Richard P. 2 years ago on Google
The environment was very lively with lots of different games and activities to do. There was a big kitchen with good options for bar food. The problem was that the bar did not have lemon juice for any of its drinks. So I was unable to order almost all of the cocktails on the menu. Quite unfortunate and weird that a bar doesn’t have lemon juice.
