UPDATE: The REAL katsu chicken is back! I must have went on a bad day. Or maybe they ran out and replaced with mcchickens. Don't know don't care! We're back in business. See how the crispy breading almost falls off the chicken (last 2 photos)? Perfection. Photos don't do it justice. Restoring all the stars ⭐ THEY CHANGED THE KATSU CHICKEN T___________T. Devastated doesn't even come close. My weekly sustenance for the past 3 years...gone. Whatever they're using now is nothing more than a decorated mcchicken. If you never had the original, you just won't understand. I suppose all good things must come to an end. Still 3 stars because the lemonade is good.

I love the Korean Asian fusion. We had to try the curry pho which is really good. It tasted even better with rice since the soup is thicker and stronger taste it went well with rice too. We also ordered the spicy Korean rice cake soup which has flat Korean rice cakes and was spicy but I enjoyed it alot too. The Mango was a shock and somehow I didn't expect it but enjoyable non the less. It was very spicy but thank God we had the rice. Over all I enjoyed the meal. The restaurant gave a cafeteria vibe and it was very casual and great for group setting. I highly suggest trying them both.

Food here would not disappoint you. You order food at the front counter . The offerings are few but tasty.you buy your drinks at front too and chose a table to sit at. The food is brought to the table.servuce is good.

Me and my friend recently ate here for dinner and it was so good. The Bao Buns are insaneeee. And my friend was tearing her noodles UP! Def recommend

So, I snagged some takeout from Urbanbelly, and let me tell you, it's the real deal! The place has this cool vibe, and the food? Absolutely delicious. Plus, it's all about Asian fusion, adding that extra flair to every bite. If you're up for some seriously tasty eats with a laid-back vibe, Urbanbelly's the spot.

Great flavors. Portions could be bigger, but I also eat a lot so what may be small for me, may be a lot for others. Sometimes they skimp out on protein sometimes they don't, not sure why this happens, but I love it! Great for dine in or takeout.

Food is really good, it tastes and looks good. Servers were helpful and really friendly. Ambiance is great. One comment though, food took a while to get served. Nonetheless, over all experience was great. This will definitely be a go-to Thai place for us.

Good so good! We got bowls and the beef dumplings! Very filling and flavorful. And they asked if I had any allergies ahead of time.

It was ok, not bad but also nothing to crave about. Ramen didn't have enough flavor - even for western taste. Veggie and Rice also taste uninteresting. The price on the website didn't match the actual price on site. No offerings of any condiments and washroom was locked.

The food was so delicious!! I ordered the curry katsu and I loved it (even if it tasted more like a Thai curry than a Japanese one) The service was quick and very friendly ! I love this place

Huge space and friendly staff. Ordered the lemongrass chicken dumplings, korean short rib fried rice and pork & kimchi ramen. Korean short rib fried rice: 5/5, if I lived in Chicago I would definitely keep coming back for this. Pork & kimchi ramen: 3/5 good hangover food, lots of noodles/meat, however I’ve had tastier ramen than this. Wish I could come back and try the other ramen selections. Lemongrass chicken dumplings: 3/5 could be a bit tastier/more savory for my taste.

Shoyu mushroom ramen was good, although not the traditional ramen flavor I expected. Dumplings were also good

Absolutely a westernized version of Korean flavors. Tasted like Panda Express, but not even that level. Super super sweet on all dishes and lacking flavor. Korean bbq rice tasted like under seasoned ground beef, lacked flavor. Cauliflower was inedible it was so sweet- looked like a sweet and sour chicken dish to be honest. Super disappointed especially at the price point. Staff were really friendly and very quick service!

Came here on a Sunday around noon and it was pretty empty. I got the coconut curry pho which actually tasted really good, however not super sure if it is anything close to pho more than the fact that it’s noodles in soup. My friend got some beer chicken dish and said it was alright. The food came out really quickly, would say it’s a pretty good spot to grab a quick bite.

I always get the udon noodle with egg and kimchi bowl, with the tofu and pea shoots. To quote Fergie, "I'm addicted and I just can't get enough" 🙌 It's so good, I feel like it travels well when I order delivery/to go, it fills me up. I could go on and on about it but just go order it honestly. Also one time I ordered from this restaurant they messed up my order, and they were very good about fixing it, the staff is really great over the phone or in person. Highly recommend this place 👍

All the food here is delicious and inventive. People are always welcoming. Great comfort food.

The lemongrass chicken coconut curry Pho is to Die for! My husband and I order this anytime we are feeling something warm and soupy. this chicken so yummy and it's ground so its easy to eat mixed up with the other ingredients. It travels well since they separate the broth with the ingredient so that when I get home I warm up the broth for 30sec in the microwave and then add in all the noodles and veggies to it so it's like I'm eating it right at the restaurant! writing this review makes me want to order it again for dinner tonight!

First time visit. We went to Chicago for a day and wanted Korean, but something different not the usual bbq. We certainly chose a good place. The food was good and the service was excellent. We got the spicy rice cake soup, chicken tacos, and fried rice. Personally not a fan of jasmine rice, but overall everything tasted good. The person taking the order was very patient with us and answered all of our questions kindly. He knew the menu! The ice cream beer was definitely a bonus! Will need to come back on a hot summer day to enjoy the ice cold beer.

Enjoyed the ramen. Very convenient location steps away from the Damen Blue Line stop. It’s always clean and the staff is friendly too!

Ramen special was really spicy however I was forewarned so I don't blame anyone but myself. I enjoyed my food so much I didn't even think about the spice level. Nose runny and all. Most delicious ramen I've had in a while.

Delicious Chicken Katsu udon. Very flavorful noodles being both slightly sweet and spicy. Crunchy chicken Katsu crust with juicy chicken meat inside.

Not my favorite. Felt particularly pricey for a place that offers fast food - I paid $21 for a fried rice bowl and a beverage. It felt comparable to a Noodles & Co in terms of quality and atmosphere. Menu also seemed a little restricted, though the service was good and things were fast.

I tried to reserve a table ahead of time but OpenTable said there were no tables available. I just decided to go there anyway and try since I was running solo. The place was completely empty and i couldnt see anyone inside because of the black uniforms against the black painted walls, but I tried the door and they were actually open. I guess no customers were there because OpenTable said no reservations were available. I got the Ramen with extra pork on the side. It was very tasty. The pork on the side had a sweet marmalade and was excellent. 5 stars!! Go try UrbanBelly even if Google Table reservations says nothing available! You won't regret it. Delicious. The Korean fried chicken is breaded perfectly and contains a savory “authentic” flavor. The udon noodles were cooked to the ideal temperature and expanded with delightfully.

Ordered a delivery with two bowls, a dumpling and lemonade. Both bowls had a very strong fish after tast (probably some fish sauce) that a bit overwhelming. Other than that it was tasty.

Many said that the ramen in this place is good that is why that is what I ordered. I also ordered their dumplings. It is my first time visiting this place, it is small, the interior looks nice and a good spot for a casual lunch or dinner. The staff in the counter was accommodating and the service is quite fast. I got surprised seeing the ramen, it has a really huge portion and I think can also fir for two people. I ate the dumplings first and it good. The broth of the ramen is full of flavor and the noodles is just perfect for my liking. I was not able to finish the ramen since I am already full but it was seriously delicious. This spot is really great and I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends.

Tried the mushroom ramen special, was good but the broth was too salty for me. Loved the chicken Bao though!
