I came in from out of town and stopped here for breakfast before my meetings. It was a very nice place, much nicer than I thought I was getting into so I was a little surprised at the price for my coffee & breakfast toast. And there also wasn't any wifi, which was just a bit disappointing. But despite needing to hot-spot, it was a nice place to sit in and have a coffee and get a little work done.

Had the avocado toast with feta, a poached egg, and a chili pepper olive oil drizzle. Blew my freaking mind. So glad I walked past two Starbucks on my way here. Visiting from out of state, saw good reviews and decided to take a chance. So glad I did. My coffee was also excellent, a Columbian roast of some sort. Staff was very friendly.

I love this place. Coffee is on the pricier side, but the flat whites are excellent, and the food is fantastic. I got ham and cheddar quiche today and it had a beautifully light texture and lots of flavor. Quiche came with a cardamom tomato relish and arugula dressed with olive oil and salt & pepper. The staff are lovely and the shop itself is cheerful and clean!

I'm honestly glad this isn't directly on my way to work or I'd be buying coffee here every single day. The flavors are on point and they have a variety of milk choices that covers just about any taste or dietary restriction. For the food? I haven't had much of the menu quite yet but what I have had has all been fantastic! (The Avocado toast here is.... Delicious. Probably my favorite in the area. The pastries are also great. I haven't had an actual meal here though so can't say to the size/tastes of that.) The staff also all knows what they're talking about, if you have any questions or are looking for suggestions not only do they know the products but are happy to help out with them!

This is simply good coffee. Being the unbiased reporter and coffee drinker that I am I can state with absolute certainty that the coffee prepared here is better than your average starbleh coffee. I am not a hater. For although one can truthfully say that "coffee is coffee" and go spend $1.23 on some trash starbucks brew and feel the same effects as Mojo's artisan roasted and expertly prepared coffee, well to them I say: You deserve better things because you work hard and you're beautiful. Try the Flat White. Also their brioche buns have spiced apples in them.

Their sweet potato tart used to be really good. I just ordered another one today and they changed the recipe. It's okay, but not really really good anymore. It's now extra egg-y and under-sweet potatoed. I asked the barista for a comment card to share my opinion with management. She said I can't leave a comment with her and that I can only write a review online. Okay. Aside from this, they have good coffee and it's a great place to meet people. Note: no wifi and no outlets.

Nice cafe, good coffee, no wifi, no power outlets??? Very odd to be a coffee shop and not offer completely basic amenities. Feels like this is straight out of a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode. I’d urge management to strongly reconsider offering these things.

I spent a year in New Zealand and the coffee is spot on. The flat white was great and the chocolate croissant was was the best I've had state side.

Had a great experience at Mojo coffee today! Delicious vanilla oat milk iced latte by exceptional baristas Alana and Riley. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the loop!

Fantastic, upscale little coffee shop focused on high quality coffee and great food. Wonderful service with attentive staff. Breakfast options were delicious. Shashuka was warm, flavorful and a wonderful way to start my day. Avocado toast was piled high. Lots of fresh pastries and wanted to try them all. Coffee was so good and well presented. Macchiato was on point. Excellent little shop with great vibe and good music.

It’s a really nice atmosphere, kind staff. I ordered a latte, banana bread and an avocado toast (sourdough). The latte was great, so was the banana bread BUT the avocado sourdough was so hard that I could eat it or even cut the bread using a knife (At all), I ended up just eating the avocado on its own and I left the bread as is. Plus NO Wi-Fi :(, I asked and the employee and he kindly said they don’t offer any Wi-Fi. I don’t think I’ll be going back.

Drinks were delicious, but $14 for a slice of toast with smoked salmon on top? A bit overpriced, restaurant not as clean as it should be.

Walked over from Amtrak while waiting for a bus, was a perfect spot to kill time and get some work done. Ordered the berry chia pudding bowl (which was delicious) and a latte. Every staff member was very friendly and the space was bright and clean. I’ll definitely return on my next trip!

Mojo on Wacker is a special place. Food and coffee are too notch and the attention to details is incredible. As a techie, going there reminds me of a caffe in the valley, where most everyone is engaged pitching their ideas, interviewing or just meeting up on a tech related connection.

The best cafe in the loop. Has a flat white to die for. All the coffee is curated with care. The professionalism of the staff is immaculate. One of the best cafes in America. Owners are from New Zealand.

  • 3/5 Sarah D. 2 years ago on Google
Coffee was decent, not many vegan food choices. There was construction in the lobby with not a lot of care taken to make it separate from customers. My Americano was clearly an espresso double shot; tasty, but not what an Americano is as a general rule

This was a great morning coffee and breakfast. First to mention, the staff are fantastic. They are friendly and helpful. I had the salmon with creme cheese on rye bread and a pour over coffee, and it was delightful. I would recommend this to anyone for a regular work day breakfast stop.

  • 4/5 Storm D. 2 years ago on Google
Overall a decent coffee experience and a nice little spot to run over to while waiting for a train. The drip is well dialed and the espresso was decent but a little over extracted. Though I'm not surprised because the clientele probably isn't very espresso centric.

The smashed avocado with feta and chili oil! I think the description alone sell this dish! So fresh, so simple yet so delicious! Hot teas are my favorite but do go in and try the coffee thats good as well

This is seriously one of the best coffee shops ever. The vanilla iced latte was wonderful, and their drip coffee was amazing as well. The drinks are served in giant beakers and everything is presented very nicely. The açaí bowls were good, but probably not worth $12. This is perfect if you love not-too-sweet coffee.

Best flat white in the entire city, plus beautiful cafe food, Kiwi-inspired pastries, and the friendliest staff. They roast their own coffee, which you can buy by the bag!

My first stop after Union Station was ⚡ caffeine⚡, of course. There was a protest in the street outside that I found upsetting--some awful homophobic group with literal red flags praying over people--and it meant a lot to come here and see that they were also taken aback and disgusted. The employees were talking quietly about it and I joined them, feeling a lot safer in this strange city with their support. But please do get sugar-free syrups! People with limited carbohydrate intake still deserve a nice coffee sometimes. I wound up with a cold brew with Splenda and it just...wasn't what I came for. A nice sugar-free hazelnut latte would have provided the comforting buzz I was after. But thanks for the caffeine--it kept me going for ten hours around your very walkable city.

One of the best downtown coffee shops! It's certainly my favorite. Pricey (maybe) depending on your budget, but it's really not pricey for the quality of coffee you get. They don't make bad drinks. Quality and taste are top notch!

Great place for great cup of coffee and breakfast. Today I got shakshuka eggs. That have croissants and quiches here.

  • 1/5 Diane K. 1 year ago on Google
$8.00 for 2 poached eggs on a slice of 5 grain bread is a ripoff. Add to this the slowness. Will not be back.

  • 3/5 Mehruba A. 1 year ago on Google
I got an iced latte with oatmilk and sweetened with simple syrup. Wasn't bad, but doesn't beat a few of the other places I've tried in the area.

No wifi 😐 I came to the coffee shop to work on my laptop (by myself). Who am I supposed to connect with face to face?? Please give people a choice. Also, nobody picks up the phone.

The coffee was good, the eggs benedict with salmon were ok, nothing special. It would be much tastier if they would serve it with some greens. The place is cozy with a beautiful view.

For that next coffee meeting...come to Mojo. The space has a great vibe...ideal for informal business meetings. They serve a lovely cappuccino with a sprinkle of cocoa. For the drip coffee crowd, they brew a mean cup whether drip or steampunk. Food is of the farm to table variety - simple, fresh, delicious. The granola is amazing and who knew poached eggs on toast could be this good. They bring your drinks and food to your table...such a nice change from standing around waiting for you order to come up.

This is not the typical base of an office building coffee shop!!! Ample seating with lots of space to work and a gorgeous view across Wacker to the Willis Tower. The coffee was great, but, oh, the food! One of the best quiches I've ever had...crispy crunchy crust and the tomato jam on the side was killer. I also had the tasca calda, a savory pastry with tomatos and pesto on a puff pastry base. Both were served with a side of fresh greens. My new go to spot!

A high-end shop. Great coffees, teas, food, and snacks. The management clearly pays attention and improved since the opening so that quality and service justify the pricing and exceed expectations - especially off peak hours. The visual and experience concept is really coherent, down to serving wares. Do not be afraid to ask for a custom touch (but please respect the line behind you, if any), they are attentive and capable. The menu is rotating and happens to venture outside of beaten coffee shop path. The beef cheek pie was a good find and a pleasant surprise. This is not a fast food place. Seems that serving at the tables is geared towards keyboard warriors and those who need to talk some things over.

What an amazing place, fast service with friendly faces. All the nitro cold brews that we got were lukewarm, like it wasnt even in the fridge. We do need to try rest of the coffee options. Pretty interesting food menu too.

Great space and atmosphere. The staff was also very polite and helpful, definitely made the experience so much better. I only had the Poached Egg on sourdough with sausage, and the quality of the food and ingredients were up there. Will definitely be coming back again.

I take clients here for meetings. It is downright the best coffee place for meetings I have been to. Goodbye to Starbucks. You order and sit down with your number. They not only bring you your beverage but also start you off with sparkling water served to you at the table. Servers and attendants are all excellent. Not your typical Starbucks barista that doesn't care.
