It is a nice park in the west loop. Lots of room to play and stroll. There is a good children's play area with a variety of equipment for infants, toddlers and kids.. that includes swings, slides and sandpits. There are a lot of trees that are double up as event spaces for birthday parties or other gatherings. There are baseball, tennis and basketball courts with bleachers as well. Last but not the least it is also a dog park!

The hidden gem of city parks - this one has it all. There’s plenty of open space, a playground, basketball courts, shaded and open areas, and an awesome view of the skyline.

A good playground for kids but needs some improvements like pavement should be built around the playground as dogs are allowed in this park, sometimes you will find dog poop. Also the restroom needs to be there.

We love to walk a couple blocks from our place to this park. Take a sheet and some snacks and relax. Park has been very clean the times we have gone and we go pretty often.

This is a fantastic park. It has lots of fields (perfect for soccer). There’s a basketball court and a baseball field. Unsure about softball. AND, the best playground since sliced bread (FYI: Betty White is older than sliced bread. Truth.). The playground has multiple features to play on, many of the standards with a few nice surprises. Next to the playground is a small wildlife center/nature conservatory to be enjoyed by young toddlers and adults alike (but no Denisovan permitted). The wildlife center contains things found in nature, and, nature found in things (Don’t worry, no Panthers). For those worried about peeing their pants (as I am), worry not. You Can excrete waste quite comfortably in the small, heated, square clubhouse, which looks like a repurposed Dairy Queen. It’s also worth noting that the view of downtown is precious.

Love it beautiful park. I love taking walks here. There's a school next door. A police school across. It feels pretty safe. A community garden also makes it beautiful to sit and picnic .Separate dog park across the street but people sting bringing their dogs in the restricted sections. 1 barked at the baby stroller like food was in it instead of a baby.

Love Skinner park so much. Really clean and nice place for anyone who’s looking for a nature time. Basketball court, Running court, soccer field and even tennis court. It’s ultimate park with safety. Because. There’s police school right across the park and elementary school connected. Definitely best park in Loop area in Chicago!

Lovely local park with lots of free amenities and activities including great basketball courts! 🏀 These are the only free basketball courts open to the public in West Loop!!

I'm delighted to give Skinner Park a 5-star review! This urban oasis is a true gem in the heart of the city. It offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle, with lush green spaces, well-maintained facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're looking to relax, exercise, or enjoy a picnic, Skinner Park has something for everyone. It's a fantastic place to spend quality time outdoors, and I highly recommend it to locals and visitors alike.

My mother's neighbor park where I walk the dog. Very nice park. Next to the Police Academy

Love walking my dogs there and letting them play off leash with supervision.

Great place to bring the kiddos to play. Ran to the donut shop across the street. It's nice that it's enclosed so the kids can run around with no worries.

I love the fact that you can go walking tennis and just have a picnic in the park.

This is a Great park! Also the nonprofit organization that helps take care of the park is doing good work for our community. The Earth Day Clean Up was a huge success.

Good park for persons of all age groups. Barricaded kids area , volleyball court , green open ground for foot / base ball & covered picnic tables.

Had a beautiful run in this open field. The location was underrated and there was more than enough space for everyone to do what they wanted. This was a summer treat.

This park has a great location, but the grass is always in terrible condition. I would much rather driver further away to other parks like Wicker or Smith, where the grass is great! I do like the basketball courts and dog park in this park, however.

Beautiful city park. Lots of trees and interesting civilian installed hardscape. Michelle Obama garden occupies a portion of this park.

Much quieter and nicer than nearby Union park. It's between a school and the Michelle Obama athletic complex. Really nice spot to have a picnic

Really nice park. Playground for kids. Basketball court. Neighborhood garden. Grassy field for sports. Lots of people use it.

Reviewing the playground - big and lots of activities. The sand pit was unique and playful. However, it's a bit heavily used and lots of garbage around.

This is a phenomenal park. It has loads of fields (ideal for soccer). There's a b-ball court and a baseball field. Uncertain with regards to softball. What's more, the best jungle gym since cut bread (FYI: Betty White is more established than cut bread. Truth.). The jungle gym has various provisions to play on, large numbers of the guidelines with a couple of decent shocks. Close to the jungle gym is a little untamed life community/nature center to be appreciated by youthful babies and grown-ups the same (however no Denisovan allowed). The untamed life place contains things found in nature, and, nature found in things (Don't stress, no Panthers). For those stressed over peeing their jeans (as I am), stress not. You Can discharge squander easily in the little, warmed, square clubhouse, which resembles a repurposed Dairy Queen. It's likewise significant that the perspective on midtown is valuable.
