This place is breathtaking. It's beautiful here. These views are very relaxing. You can relax and forget about everyday matters. We had a very nice time here. We had a real moment for ourselves that we badly needed.

Was at the golf course which was in good condition. My first round in the months after dealing with with illness was very pleased and weather was great.

Was on vacation and decided to go fishing here. Caught many small fish. Nothing worth talking about. Caught the smallest bass I've ever caught :-) A lot of trash in and around the lake and locals have fished this spot a lot. Pretty spot to relax in in certain areas however.

Littered to the brim and infested with gang members who will either leave you alone or assault you depending on your race. Just stay on the main routes with pavement and you'll be fine. The ducks and trails are nice to experience on the right days.

This place is big. It has many ways you can spend time like taking a run or riding a bike. You can also play sports. This place is not well kept. There are many junkies and many people go there to sell drugs or other things. The place has some bad places and sometimes there are fights. I wouldn't recommend in my opinion.

This park is a low key spot for fishing. The pond is small surely you can relax. Ducks use the pond too. I just wish the city of Chicago cut the grass. It is too high for my pup. It makes it hard to clean up poop. If the grass was cut regularly I'd give it a 5 star.

Beautiful Chicago park but terribly trashed! 😪 Local resident here 🙋‍♀️ I came for a midday stroll since this park is only mins away from me and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Such a sad sight to see because there was trash everywhere! The wildlife does not deserve this. We ALL need to do better. I will never understand people who are comfortable littering. Is there anyone I can contact about this issue? Can the city put more garage bins to make it more accessible for people to throw THEIR garbage away?

This was my first time at this park and I really enjoyed my 45 or so minutes there. I will definitely be going back. I moved to Chicago from rural Wisconsin and needed to feel the grass under my feet again.

The course was in good shape and wasn't crowded during the week. Nice oasis in the city.

Marquette Park being the largest park on the South Side is a great place to just get out and be active. It offers a track, areas to fish, lots of open space and water to look at, and trails for biking. One complaint I have though is that as a long boarder the bike trails are almost too rough to ride on but I make due. Marquette Park should definitely be on your list of places to check out in Chicago. Oh, there is also ample parking.

Nice park but... even though there's garbage cans all over the place people still throw trash on the ground, I mean how LAZY can they be ??

Marquette Park is huge and offers so much to the community. More people need to utilize the park. Many classes are offered for a small fee and some are completely FREE!

Exceptionally question there is alive fish in the (water looks greenish dark). It is serene and clean. Strolled the track two or multiple times with my children, and they partook in all of it.

Great park for all type of activities. My only issue is during the later hours, the people drive recklessly without considering there are children that may cross the street. Honestly, we're having a speeding problem throughout this whole city.
