Between the baseball diamonds, open field, playground, pool, basketball and tennis courts, there is plenty to do for everyone in the family. You will frequently see people setting up a spot on the grass and spending the entire day there. Parking on the side streets isn't too difficult, but there are a few adjoining busy streets to watch out for when crossing with kids. There is some shade around the periphery and at the North and south ends.

Outdoor pool, two indoor gymnasiums, baseball fields. Basketball courts, lawn, etc. We enjoyed our indoor soccer class with Coach Daniel! Thanks for hosting!

Such a nice park. I've used their pool, tennis courts, dog park, and their fitness membership, along with just walking around the park. Their pool is very clean and very well supervised. Tennis courts can get real busy real fast, so finding time for it to be open is difficult but still fun to go to. Dog park was good, for the most part people are really responsible with cleaning up after their dogs. And in general, the park is really lovely. It's a beautiful space. I would take my cat around the park (not the dog area) and he'd love it too.

Busy at the park today, with games on the baseball field, birthday party, sack races, and lots of kids on the spacious playground! The kids played hard and enjoyed all the equipment. Only major issues were the public restrooms being closed πŸ€”, and the playground being inaccessible for people with disabilities.

It's our new favorite park in Chicago. There's plenty of space to do a little of everything... walking path, dog park, baseball field, tennis courts, basketball, and even learning how to bike. We set up our camping chairs but there are more than enough benches at this park to sit on and they seem to be clean. There's plenty of shade as well. On a nice day, you may catch a glimpse of some park goers laying out on a blanket enjoying a picnic and even painting.

I LOVE this park, this is the place where I have played baseball at for my entire childhood. The fields are always in pristine condition when it comes to game time. When it’s a rainy day, the park does it’s best to make the fields dry enough to play on by filling wet spots with dry sand. The playground here is very fun and I used to play in it when I was younger and it was so much fun. Overall, this park is amazing and it will always hold a special place in my heart, I recommend this place to anyone, looking for a youth baseball league, or just taking their kids here to have some fun!

Great park! Has basketball, tennis, and baseball fields as well as a separate field if you just want a nice picnic. Has a community center with a pool and a decent dog park. Plus an outdoor playground. Lots of children and dogs walking around. Usually has an ice cream cart or two in the summer

Hamlin Park is a great park. It play area for kids is full of fun things to do. It has lots of safe and fun equipment for them to use. They also have some baseball fields and a large out door swimming pool. In the summer they also host family activities that everyone can enjoy. They also have a field house and host summer camps for kids. It is kept clean and the people are friendly. I strongly believe that it is a great place for everyone to enjoy.

Perhaps not the most scenic park for a romantic stroll, unless team sports are a turn on. It does however however have a complete series of ball courts, fields etc. plus a swimming pool and community activity center.
