Tourist attraction Park

👍👍 I love this park. My kids enjoy playing and hanging with friends. It's a nice environment that is very well kept. As long as our neighborhood friends and family keep it like that. No tagging or littering. Together we can continue to provide a great environment for our kids. People often mention park, kids, nice, great, game, soccer, playground, team,

Nice park for the kids up to 12 years of age. Water feature not always working would give it give stars and very secure and cozy for the kids to enjoy themselves. Would come again here.

This park has a nice playground. Kind of upset they replaced the tennis courts with a floor hocky court. I also wish the bocci ball courts would have been kept up. They were so dilapidated they ended up just removing them. The floor hocky court is nice and smooth.

If the splash pad turns off just step on the small circle that's in-between the 2 black benches. Step on it jump on it, the kids always get it to turn back on this way. Yeah it's nice too for the kids.

Great park. With lots to do but you got to be on top of the kids as there are allot of great challenging pieces of equipment that the more adventurous little ones will jump in head first.

Hiawatha Park is very simple, and always clean. This park can get busy, but it’s very nice and always fun. I strongly recommend coming here.

I had enrolled my son into the baseball league here. Aside from having to wait till they found a coach for the team, they had shady umpires. They showed favoritism every game. It didn’t matter what umpire we had, they were always against our team calling strikes when they were balls. They allowed the other team to max the balls and fouls before they called strikes. I couldn’t help but notice how cool they would be with the coaches from the other team compared to our coach. For the season I was just convinced that the team needed more practice but after noticing these patterns I couldn’t help but feel like it was a racist thing. Our coach and majority of our team was Hispanics. These kids weren’t sore losers but after every game of practically getting bullied by the umpire, they were so bummed out. Once our coach called out the shadiness, the umpire was quick to forfeit the game, causing a scene. The community alone is Caucasians so I’m sure we probably weren’t at the place where they accepted us as equal but hey if fake it to make was a park it would be Hiawatha.

nice simple urban park, no frills. just a couple baseball diamonds, soccer field, playground, and old school field house. but be careful, city speed camera money grabbers along addison and forest preserve drive... they'll rob you of a days pay ... drive slowly if you visit this little gem of a park!

I love this playground my little one is starting to walk and I am not afraid of other little ones running in to him. Most of the times I'm here is only 4 kids maximum, so yeah very calm. Parents and kids are super friendly. The safety door is a plus I feel super comfortable bringing my little boy here.

Best park to visit in the area. The staff is fantastic and caring. Park is clean and they have a nice splash pad for the kids. You can always count on a ice cream truck being there. Only thing missing is a food truck like the have at Shabbona park.

Was at the park yesterday with my daughter, son in-law, great granddaughter and great grandson watching them eat ice cream, playing baseball, swinging and just having a good old time. Perfect weather also. The playground and park very clean except the garbage can needed to be emptied was over loaded in the playground area.

Hi, so there is a min incident this evening in the field game Man City and M United. I'm parents of kids playing in M United. I support my kids it's my right. This is the soccer The issue when the player of Man City does throw in is not correct, I said to the reffery it's not correct after the reffery send to me someone there in the field, and he said go out the field I do it no problem. the guy he told me next year that your kids do not accept to apply again here again. No problem, there are different soccer teams. In soccer, there are a lot of exciting moments someone doesn't like this please don't organize the tournament soccer. The big problem or observation I will be late You know. the reffery you sent to this game. The reffery had his hood on, and there were a lot of mistakes all my life. I don't see reffery had his hood on. please, the minimum respect for the soccer. Thanks

My toddler had a great time with the water spout. It was very clean and well kept. A lot of different play sets for a variety of ages. Great place to run around and entertain the kids.

The area is safe, the neighborhood residents seem to know or recognize each other, at least visually. Large fields.
