Very spacious for all sorts of activities. Could use a little more maintenance, especially on the broken parts of the pavement

It's got a great baseball field, indoor gym is good. Sometimes you'll see a few people that aren't there to play sports. It can be a little risky depending on the time of day

Nice park, with a soccer field and tennis courts. Large playground area. Baseball fields with about a half mile track for walking or running. Maintenance is minimal, but adequate.

I lOVE this place! Where do you go when it's raining out and you want to spend the day in nature? Here!!!! Free admission (donations recommended) Open from 9-5; year round The air quality in this place is fantastic! Benches sporadically placed for relaxation. There is free parking on site. There is a jungle room, a desert room, a fern room and then some... all under a glass canopy. If I were a millionaire I would have a replica of this attached to my home so I could sit and wander for hours. I would just add a hammock and some music. I will be bringing anyone that visits Chicago for the first time here. It's my new fave place and I can't wait to return in the winter.

More than enough space to play football and other sports. Playground is is big enough for the kids to enjoy and it has a new water park for everyone to cool off in this summer.

I have been coming to this park since I was a little girl! I'm 38 now and to me, it's always been a pretty chill, nice park. People are always walking their dogs, playing basketball, kids at the park. It's really nice 😊

Vittum Park is a large neighborhood park with many different athletic fields, a playground, and a water spray feature. The playground was renovated in 2015 and features two play structures - a smaller one for younger children and a larger one for older children - as well as a set of standard Chicago Park swings. The water spray feature is a 'loch ness mister' and an overhead spray element. All the equipment is very nice and well-maintained. The setting and non-play elements are very solid. There are large, mature trees surrounding the site and a few benches and picnic tables for seating. The nearby fieldhouse provides access to bathrooms (when open). The play area is fenced from the street but not enclosed and opens directly into the rest of the spacious park. All in all, this is a great park and playground; highly recommend.
