Nice, small park. Nice place for walking dogs but unfortunately so many people let their dogs off leash and don't seem care about the rules/law so be aware. It's really unsafe for dogs on leashes as well as the dogs that are off leash so I wish people would be more considerate.

One of the most beautiful parks in Chicago. Huge willow trees with great shade for picnics. A nature trail with many little creatures and flowers. Baseball fields and biking trails, all within one park.

This is such an awesome park! You can truly unwind here whether you want to read a book, have a catch, walk your dog, birdwatch, picnic, exercise, or people watch (respectfully of course). The groundskeepers keep the place very clean and tidy and the locals seem to respect one another and value privacy. Even at night it feels safe to walk through here on the way home from a long work day. Police patrol regularly but are not overbearing.

I’ve driven past it so many times, but I had no idea how beautiful this park is inside! Tons of nature conservation areas break up the park and make it feel more spread out and quiet. A lovely place to spend a sunny afternoon.

Lovely neighborhood 🏑 Lovely park πŸŒΊπŸŒ²πŸ°πŸ¦πŸ¦‹ Usually nice and quiet. My only wish would be for people to keep their dogs on the leash πŸ•And also, the bathrooms are missing as is the case with most parks 🫀

Great park in the middle of the city with intertwined trails and little nature preserves. They also have a playground, baseball fields, tennis courts and benches. Nice calming atmosphere where lots of different people come to hangout, walk, and picnic.

A very big park with baseball diamonds, from fields, a nature trail and playgrounds. It is a fun place to go and unplug from the busy city.

An amazing park. When we first moved to Lincoln Square, a friend told us that Winnemac was magic. Not magical, as he was quick to point out, but pure magic. And he was absolutely right. There’s always so much going onβ€”people in their hammocks, walking their dogs, playing baseball, taking yoga classesβ€”and everyone is incredibly friendly.

This park is attached to one of the best High school's in the city Amundson. Home of the Vikings. It's a fantastic area to explore beautiful flowers and gardens several of which the students have made and watch over.

This park is always well maintained and offers a variety of leisure options; from multiple athletic fields, a native plants preserve, and plenty of quiet places to set up a chair or hammock, there is something here for everyone!

This is a fantastic multi use park. There are lots of places to spread out with a picnic, or fields to play various sports. There's a great park for kids, and a path through protected flower gardens. A great community park. There's also a parking lot available when the adjacent high school isn't in session.

Beautiful huge park that's very well maintained and full of life. Trails galore, open spaces, baseball diamonds, it has it all. I highly recommend talking a walk through or planning a get together there asap.

Grew up there. Since I was born. That was my park as a kid. My parents park as kids, and My Kids park growing up. This neighborhood is and always will be MY LIFE AND MEMORIES.

Played co-ed softball this season at this park. Greta fields. Beautiful park! You can often see people picnicing or walking their dogs in the area. It's very peaceful and the grounds appear well managed.

Bordered by baseball diamonds on the south and north and a football stadium on the west, Winnemac Park features a beautiful expansive high grass reserve braided into winding paths. Usually populated by families, kids, and dogs sunbathing, taking walks, and playing frisbee, sometimes you'll find legitimate baseball or softball games under way. Last but not least, Winnemac Park is the home of up and coming Amundsen High School, one of the many substantial institutions within the Chicago Public Schools.

This is one of our favorite Parks when we visit the city. Lots of paths and pretty shade trees. The playground is large and there's plenty of seating. The only downside to this park is the lack of restrooms. This forces us to limit our time but maybe that's intentional...

Beautiful Natural landscaping and wonderful walking trails. My first time there. The children's playground looked fairly new and was enclosed. Mature trees providing shade to bicyclists and walkers. Although, I observed a few blankets spread for picnics. I did not observe picnic tables. I was surprised by how well the park was maintained since it boarded large athletic fields used for football on weekends.

Extraordinary park in the city with entwined trails and little nature jelly. They likewise have a jungle gym, baseball fields, tennis courts and seats. Decent quieting air where loads of various individuals come to home base, walk, and outing.
