Beautiful park, very clean!! Staff was very polite. We (INFINITE RYDERS) were invited here for a festival done by the 14th District police department. (8-2019) Thank you to everyone involved in this event. So many prizes, raffles , food and activities for everyone!! I can't wait until next year!!

This is a huge park. It has a baseball field, swimming pool, playlot (that has swings, jungle gym, see saw, slides and sprinklers -not turned on yet), picnic area (grass and tables and seats), a field house. Plenty of trees too.

Holstein Park is a beautiful park with a wonderful swimming pool. It has a large field house with locker rooms and showers. It is clean. Holstein has a huge baseball field, playground for the kids, splash pool for the little ones. The swimming pool is one of the best in the City. You truly get a feel for the diversity of the City of Chicago, because EVERY Race, Creed, Color, Nationality and Religious belied ALL hang out side by side with no problems at Holstein Park. My daughter went to Summer Camp here as a child, and when she got a little older, she became a Junior Camp Counselor here. She really enjoyed her experience at Holstein Park. I love this park and highly recommend it. You can find parking also. People ride their bikes at Holstein Park, people push baby strollers at Holstein Park, people walk their dogs at Holstein Park. Friends meet to talk and play. Literally, anything you want to do, chill out on a Park bench and read a book, or just people watch, sunbathe or have a picnic... it’s all here. An oasis in the heart of the Windy City. Very nice park. Excellent swimming pool. Large baseball field. Nice Playground with swings and sprinklers for the kids. You and your family will enjoy it.

Great tucked away park in the middle of a nice clean neighborhood. If you have a dog you might be ticketed if you let them off leash so I've heard but they have never said anything to me and I walk dogs in the area everyday. Super nice locals and lots of other dogs to play with!

They re-did the bathrooms on the first floor! So much nicer. Upstairs the gym is pretty much the same as it ever was. A traditional Chicago Park District field house, which makes it special in its own right. Old, but special.

A fantastic play area for young children in the north end, a ball field and open space on the south end and an excellent pool for adults and children in between. Adult lap swim is early each day. A nice wading pool is next to the main pool for the infants. The locker rooms haven't been updated since the 40's and they show their age but at least showers and changing rooms are provided. You can bring a lock to secure your things while swimming a la gym class.

Love the pool. The fieldhouse looks great. Open park perfect to play fetch with the pup. Thumbs up. Oh yeah.

Easy parking and relatively clean. It’s never really crowded and if it is everyone seems to stay an average of 30 mins. In the summer, the pool gets very crowded. There’s a bit of shade from the trees and water feature in the park so the kids can cool off a bit there spraying water. Lots of benches and tables for snack time.

Very nice Chicago Park District neighborhood park. The playground equipment itself is nice enough and appeals to a variety of age groups. The surface of the playground is getting older so there are some holes where debris collects. The grass is sparse under the shade trees - pretty much plain dirt... There seem to be ample benches and even a few tables are available

I've played at this park when I was a youngster growing up in the 90's. Good memories.

Went to family swim on a Thursday evening. The pool was clean, it was well attended but wasn't too crowded.

Big open field, updated field house, pool (during certain non-pandemic summers), playground, plus another park with plenty of shade right across the street!
