Lafollette Park is a beautiful city park for young children and adults. This wonderful community park provides plenty of recreational activities and opportunities. Sporting activities and events for children. Wellness activities for adults and children at the Field house. I recommend this nice and clean park to the public.

This park has a racist african american coach who really doesn't have experince teaching boxing skills to children. The coach is racist against Latino people. The simple fact, that the guy gets mad, gives you a dirty look just because you want to help your child succeed in Boxing. Please to all my Latino people out there who are interested in signing up their kids at this location. Please think again. There are better options out there in Chicago were you are welcomed amd not descriminated against. The coach doesn't have any experiennce at all. I mean he makes kids perform 100 abdominals straight and not done in sets (this is a very easy way for children to burn their muscles), Everyone knows a child is developing their bodies, and for them to do 100 abdominals just like that. No warming up, no nothing, he makes them do jump rope inside a screwed up ring that has is not leveled, and requires maintenence (That's the quickest way for a child to break an ankle). This guy is a freaking joke, he opens up the gym at 4:30-6:30 when in reality they should close like they mention at 7pm. This guys only puts his music so loud, and just sits there not teaching anything to this kids. No wonder he only has 3 kids to train. Besides, he doesn't like work hard to earn his paycheck. He only sits down And doesn't do anything. A coach must have that desire to train, to teach the sport not just to do it for a paycheck. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love this park!!! It has everything u need to bring the family together. Football field, basketball court, soccer field, baseball field, running track that goes around the football field and if your lucky u can either go swimming inside or they someti.es have the little water park on for the smaller kids. Coach james is the head football coach for the junior bears and that man is amazing with the at risk youth young men that come to play with him. I absolutely love how he treats each child and builds them up to be better young men in their own communities. If your ever in the area take a walk around. There is a farmer's market that comes on Wednesday! Great fresh fruit and granola!!!

I've only been here 3 times. I remember the inside being nice a couple of years ago. However, this visit was due to a football game. It was a very wet & cold day, but we were still there to cheer them on.

Very nice park. You can tell the park district keeps not clean. They have an excellent football field. The park is located in a neighborhood. It has a indoor bathroom for visitors.

I actually like the park. Most of the staff members are friendly, but there is one in particular that seems to do nothing. Each and every time I came to the park to pick up my children she was on the phone instead of watching the children. Even if watching the children wasn't her job she was always on the phone having a personal conversation.

Park is well-maintained for people. Not so much for dogs. There's always a bunch of glass scattered at sidewalks or entrances so be careful of your dogs paws. Sidewalk on Lavergne is destroyed and very difficult to walk upon.

Absolutely horrible. There was glass everywhere even where the kids play. Ppl smoking weed right on the play ground. That's crazy kids can play and be kids. The dirtiest park I've ever seen. So not recommend until they do what they suppose to do.
