Clean, lively dog park. 우다 took two dumps there, so you know he was having a damn good time.

Very good. Clean. The dogs love the "doggie" pool.

Recently discovered this park and I love taking my dog here for walks, plus they have a large free parking lot. Looking forward to spring and summer walks!

Great area for dogs, owners are very friendly and pretty attentive to their dogs. There’s water bowls and toys there and lots of space to run. Only wish there was a larger grassy area to run adound.

It's great but pretty basic. Not sure what else to expect, but I just wish there were a few more dog friendly things to do, like a ramp or hill or something.

Great place to bring your dog to socialize and meet up with other dog lovers and their furry buddies

Decently sized and clean. Lots of friendly and well-behaved dogs!

The people there looked at my bully as if he was going to kill thier dog. He's only 8months old and they looked more dangerous then my dog. So I only let my older dog in.

Kind of small, but okay. I don't know why they picked pebbles, or how they clean that. There was quite a bit of dog poop to be picked up and the pebbles made it extra difficult. My dog had fun though, so all was good.

It's not fancy but it's a nice little place to bring our beagle. Volunteer maintained so we always try to help clean or donate toys when we can. If the dog park ever gets too crazy or if it's empty, the circle walk in the main park is a great length to walk our dog.

The place was fun, friendly dogs but it has one major drawback for a high energy dog like ours. It is made of asphalt and rocks and our dog's paws pads are peeled off from running on the pavement.

My dog had a lot of fun but some people just leave their dog over there and leave.

People is very friendly and if we all cooperate the place will stay clean and nice for our pets.

Lovely little enclosed dog area in a beautiful park! Only thing it needs is a working water fountain (all volunteer run! check the parks website to help out!)

Not bad, not amazing, good amount of space, not too crowded, but surfaces are rough and feels less natural. Love Portage Park.

Is a good space for my puppies to play, spacious, they provide bags sometimes, friendly people, just be careful with the unfriendly dogs, my 5 months old puppy got attacked by one in the dog park, thanks to the people who helped me.

The enclosed area is large enough for about 20-25 dogs. No partitioning for small dogs. Owners are generally vigilant and everyone pitches in to keep the play time friendly.

Clean space with good shade for hot days. No grass but friendly people and dogs. Busy in the evenings on week days.

I like this park a lot! The only thing though every time my husband and I come it never fails there always is that one person outside the dog park that has their dog loose and no leash.. and it’s seriously dangerous, I don’t understand why put others in danger ⚠️…. Like kids, parents & families walking through… when you can literally come in the dog park where they would still be loose & free… 🙈🙄.

My wife and I do not own a dog, but living so close by, we come here to watch and relax very often. It is such a lovely part of the park for the animals (and humans) to socialize. Hopefully in the future, more provisions could be supplied to the space for the dogs and owners.

Small dog park. All pavement and pea gravel. Water fountain on location. Too bad no grass.

Nice place. People and dogs always friendly. Wish they had more activities or things to play on for the dogs.

Incredible region for canines, proprietors are well disposed and pretty mindful of their canines. There's water bowls and toys there and bunches of room to run. Just wish there was a bigger green region to run adound.

Please do not come here if you have an aggressive dog. They DO NOT KNOW how to handle these situations. When I made my dog's appointment, I let them know she was aggressive and if I should wait in my car until a room was open and the lobby was free of any pets. I was told yes. The day of the appointment i called to say i was here and i was told to wait in my car. I waited 1 hour. I was given the okay to come in. There was not a room ready for my dog. As I was signing my dog in, the receptionist said to hold on tight to my dog that a small dog was going to come out. THIS SHOULD HAVE NOT HAPPENED. It was a scary experience for both parties.

It's a huge park there is plenty to do whether your a child, teen, or adult and it is dog friendly. Though some people need to watch their children better cause there was a child throwing things at a squirrel.

👍👍 My dogs favorite place to run around with all her friends. Perfect on a hot day where they could cool off in the water. Only wish they had better fencing, since my dog likes to escape with a bunch of her friends and run off to the human side.

😠 What a disappointment ☹️ We travelled far to experience this park and it looked abandoned and neglected with overgrown weeds and broken/forgotten obstacles some with rusty nails sticking out and unsafe for dogs to be jumping on them. The parking lot was blocked off and the surrounding tennis courts...
