I like this place I live near by. Quiet park. Baseball field and play ground for children. There was a neighborhood fireworks display here on Fourth of July that I would have liked to have been invited, I was overlooked for a consideration to be formally invited to the 2.5 hour display. Would have liked to have been invited to the party seeing that I am a neighbor. I guess that I am not cool enough. I would have gave this park 5 stars except it is a small community back here and I and my mom were left out. See my neighbor , Pam, suggested I go over to the park to watch them but she and her husband were going to Summer Fest in Wisconsin and would not be able to attend, but I did not go because, even though I am a neighbor, only two blocks to the park; could see them from back yard, but what I'm trying to say is there was no sense of community in my neighborhood because on the 3rd & 4th of July because they all got an invite except my family; stings me to a confused countenance about my neighbors. So I stayed home in my backyard playing my mandolin to Def Leopard on the radio and plaing various other musical scores for Those two hours so I could feel powerful and not depressed because I was heartbroken because I wanted to get to go. It is the principal of the lack of communication with my family and neighborhood on this July 4th weekend that makes me write this.i did not mind not going because it seems that my family did not get the invite to walk over because it may be this terrible, that it was either an oversight on the neighbors or it would have been a really bad time because of they may not have wanted to because of a lack of empathy for my mom, nephew, and myself and they would not have socialized with me. Now I gave at least 3 stars because I have memories of walking my dog Night( half Cane Corso canine and half black Labrador canine) ; named him Night because he was as black as the Night sky and Bear(half miniature Poodle and half American Eskimo canine) and it is quite and peaceful. Had I been invited to life at the Park I would have given 5 stars.

I've been going to this park since I was 12 in 2006. I love it. Always will. They finally remodeled and it's perfect. Highly recommend. 😊

Nice neighborhood park. They've removed the basketball nets so that undesirables won't come to play B-Ball
