Today was day two of the 3-day annual artist of the wall festival at farwell pier in Rogers park! The music was flowing, the hot dogs were sizzling, the fish were jumping, and the paint was slopping! Saw a handful of both faces and met a few new ones :-) good times! Rogers park, home of the Lost Tribe!

Gorgeous place with friendly people. Beach is clean and has beautiful sunsets. I love that people meet for their dogs to play on the grass in the middle of the park. The murals have lovely messages of hope and showcases why Rogers Park is so wonderful.

Beautiful spacious park next to the lake. Unlike Oak Street, North Ave or Montrose, this beach is hardly ever fully occupied on its busiest day. Great community art and distant view of the skyline from the pier.

It's a beach! You get what you drive for. It's not too crowded so that is good. No good spots to eat nearby so that's kind of a bummer.

I love Loyola Park. I am a native New Yorker and I had no idea Chicago even had beaches Yet alone one just blocks away from me! It's usually empty during the week. I went one Saturday just to get a feel of foot traffic. It was still toleratable. I suggest you pack your swimwear and take a dive ( Be blessed)! Beautiful mixture of beach and park. Enjoy the isolated areas for perfect people watching!

Clean clean clean the most beautiful beach that I've seen in Chicago and I've been here for about 20 years and I'm from Florida so that's saying a lot definitely 420 recommended to chill but you had together.

Are you looking for nature and solitude(at the right times)? This is your spot. If you have dog this is a great place to socialize with other dog lovers. I highly recommend sunrises here.

Lovely beach with clean bathrooms. Playground is a great place to play while the sand comes off before getting in the car.

The park is lovely. We did a service project there today; we threw away about 20 large bags of trash. I wish there had been an available bathroom.

The long concrete bench that runs through Loyola Park serves as a yearly display of small murals, it gets white washed at the beginning of summer to prepare for new murals.

I ride my bike through the park. Very family friendly. Sometimes it is a little crowded. Especially on holidays.

Badass place, with peace and tranquility during sunrise, and bring your snacks to share with the seagulls. 😀

Cute little park with a parking garage near by. Bring footwear though, it's a rocky beach.

I like this park. The beach is nice, it has a playground and a basketball court. It also has more than enough space for people to distance themselves and grill or just chill. I'll definitely be going back.
