I think the pictures basically sum it up for another mall that's slowly bleeding to death. The stores in here are very limited and if they are open they don't seem busy at all. It's kind of sad honestly I personally hate buying everything on line I like to get out and walk around stores instead hitting the buy now button on Amazon. The place is always clean but probably because not much foot traffic. Reminds me of the Jasper Mall documentary which is unfortunate.

Golf mill is on its way to making a hudge change love this location so historic Niles is a wonderful place to live and it's also a great location and transportation especially for seniors is great the mall has served well especially for our morning walkers I wish it could stay a indoor mall and we bring all the high end to this mall this mall because of location should not be out done by Woodfield this location is better than Woodfield you have several ways to expressways highways by far the greatest location this whole area is the best of the best to do business we need more greater minds to create what this should look like I have the ideas and I also have a couple of resources that could actually do well with the project but who am I I'm just loving the location of the mall and our wonderful fabulous tree that's so beautiful this te of the year .

There is nothing left. The food court has 3 spots, Korean. Japanese and Cajun. Most of the retail stores r gone. The mall, Ulta and Ross were clean and neat. Yet, it was a ghost town and very depressing.

This is not what it used to be. No more claires. Hardly any food selection. Ulta, Bath and Body Works, JC Penny, and Ross pretty much. I see it dying by next year sadly and I used to come here as a kid.

Oh, man........if you want to go "shopping" before killing yourself this would be the place to visit before doing so. This place is depressing. About half the stores are shuttered and the "food" court has 3 places to go to. Even the Auntie Annie's pretzel was shut down. On the plus side, parking is ample.

Man, not the glorious mall it used be. Past times is really the only place worth going to here at this mall. The staff at Gloria jeans is also awesome....however there are really no stores really left unless you massages, cheap Korean imports or high end pianos.

Ues to shop hear in my youth when it was an outdoor Mall. North end of Mall really died after Sears pulled out. Target is well stocked and convenient but has no access to the mall.

Mall has seen better days. Only traffic seems to be parents walking their kids. But the kids stores are all closed. The kids area has been closed for cleaning since before covid. The rides are all broken and will eat your coins.

Once a thriving shopping center this mall is officially dead. The only thing standing is the jc penny and the Ross fighting to the death I assume. Anyways to show you how dead the mall is. I saw a lottery machine and put $5 and the machine just took it. I knew better than to trust a lottery machine in a dead mall. I’m not even surprised at the 5 I’m not even surprised the machine didn’t function properly but at least operational. Every shop is closed but shoutout to the floor cleaner the floor is spotless.

A dying mall, shell of what it once was. Everytime I go back I realize more stores have left. With Sears closed you can't go from JC Penney to Taget without existing and going around. Hopefully things with turn around with the new Park construction across the street on Church Street.

Boy, how do I say this... my experience there has been okay. The lack of places and restaurants open just makes it a ghost town. After the closing of Sears, it annoys me how we have to go through the other entrance to get to Target. I remember when this place was filled with people, I mean FILLED. Now it lost its touch. I hope business booms again.

Just a chillin mall. I don't like big malls. If the leases come down more room for new Businesses! Glasses at JCPENNEY Optical are better than all the glasses I've got at Foreyes and rosin eyecare

It's your typical JCPenney but they didn't have a large suit section for men and almost no white gold hoop earrings. I'm not complaining, and white gold, hoop earrings are very specific but they had a very large jewelry area but only 3 pairs of white gold hoops. Still a pretty solid store and I'd hate to see any JCPenney go out of business. We need to support these stores.

One star for security guy. We used to love this mall, BUT! It's funny to see how security guy doing admonition to four years old kid who's just playing. it's seems he did that because a lack of job, of course the mall is empty. waht else left to do just drink a coffee and stick to small child. ridiculous! We lost the desire to spend time on weekends in this shopping center especially when you trying to relax after hard working days!

It was so incredibly sad to see all of the empty stores in what was once a fun and lively place to spend an afternoon. I can definitely see how stores on the Penny's side would suffer when the access to the Target side was blocked off, and you have to drive to get to the other side. Absolutely no problem parking since the mall is essentially a ghost town.

This is just one more unimpressive mall in the suburbs of Chicago that used to be really great back in the day. There were too many empty storefronts and a mostly unimpressive collection of other stores to shop in. The best store we found there was the comic shop. I don't recall the name at the moment but we spent quite a bit of time there and I spoke to more than one of the employees while we wandered around. The people at work there were really wonderful and I feel bad for them being here where their store could fail because the mall is doing so poorly.

3.8 stars?!?! Shocking that this is the average score from other reviewers. I started going to this mall when I was a kid in the 80's. It was a great mall in the late 80's and throughout the 90's, but internet shopping, population change, and covid just destroyed this mall. At this point--with the Sears and Kohls now gone---it's practically a ghost town. I don't know how it even survives the way it is. The food court is awful and the store selection is terrible (or non-existent?) I don't know how you can even call this a "mall" because there's practically no stores left! They should just tear it all down and go back to the way it was in the early 80's-- with the medical building and separate department stores. Randhurst Mall and the Brickyard both tore down their malls with very good results that work. Unfortunately, the suburb of Niles is very poorly managed, so who knows when common sense will kick in! If you want an actual mall, I recommend Woodfield, Old Orchard, or Oak Brook.

This is pretty much a dying mall. The kind you see by YouTube urban explorers. I loved seeing some of the stores that were aimed towards Korean-American consumers. I think this mall could use more of Asian stores. Perhaps, international stores from all parts of the world. This could rebrand this mall. Offer products from every part of the world and restaurants that "authentically" and not loosely base the foods from those parts of the world. I know I for one would be going often.

This mall has jc penny, ross, target, Burlington and many local shops. But most of the local shops are closed. Either they are going out of business or closed because it was weekend

Although the food court has less options the food, service was good. I was happy to find the bathrooms to be clean, most malls usually lack cleanliness. Not sure who the cleaning lady was, but she was working hard.

Inside the mall looks abandoned.. bath and body is the only store inside that's good.. Everything else is either shut down or stores no one really cares about.

We went to Burlington and found an awesome coat for my husband and it was $50!!!! There was not a huge selection though, we just got lucky! Then we walked to the Target and bought some things like chips and ornaments :) Great and easy parking and a pleasant and short shopping trip!

The gumball machine stole my money 3 times and didn’t give me gum. The only good place here is rapid repair. They fix jewelry, watches, and glasses insanely fast at a very decent price.

The shopping center is a former Shal of itself. Not much left of it. And for what I hear most of it will be destroyed. I’m hoping they keep the AMC movie theater. As it is one of the easiest to park maneuver and has the friendliest staff.

Okay, I'll throw this place a bone. I grew up in the area when this place was poppin, my husband did not. We still live in the area so every so often I insist we walk through the mall just for my own personal nostalgia (and that usually results in me having all the feels seeing almost all empty storefront). But anyways, yesterday was one of those trips, and this mall actually did us good. Burlington and Target are always a hit, but then hubby found an interesting and cheap horror movie item from the little sports store, a VERY shocking Spider-Man comic find from the comic shop, and got what he said the best massage ever from a young Asian man at the massage parlor. So yesterday this mall was a hit!

This place feels like a video game and unless you are also fake, don’t come. I swear It feels like I couldn’t leave and it’s so eerie. Also it’s just dead. Also I feel like it wouldn’t be a good idea to go in the elevator because you’d probably never see the light of day.

This mall that I've been here since the 1950s and 60s but it need to be a rescue that I often the same in this mall better to have other future beyond that of it well let me say this the picture I need to know that something about it that it's to be like how to say this to only be right now need to be upgraded because the inside when you see right now well that's fine there's 60 the 70s and the '80s I think that up at the little put it the next level to be the next floor upstairs and specially that to have something it's like how to describe this oh yeah upgrade but it needs some help that out of from Moto over many stores already left especially that have a security guard need of my destination Desires in stores that come in a special event if you upgraded will come I cannot do this by myself anyway but if this mode could have something it's like to see the future anyway Mitch you should see the inside of the hallway it is so very very big especially that I'm well they still have is like JCPenney Rose and beauty salons up for ladies and women including from kids as well and specially that have elevated Center and food service and especially it is up to you anyway everyone but I think I'm what I saw right here is like a big of history of moment here but the only change that that is like a brand new one is the front of the door that at the mall this mall is coming from in Chicago

I gave the shopping center only three stars because a lot of the stores are no longer there. They have shut down moved or just are no longer around. But if I had to give for cleanliness I’d give them a 4 to 5 stars very clean great employees that are there friendly people. A great place to go mall walking in.

JCPenney was certainly busier than the rest of the mall. It saddens me to see how quiet the mall is. I always enjoyed taking my kids there for lunch, playing, and shopping...a long time ago.

  • 3/5 The All R. 10 months ago on Google
Definitely some good stores in here. Go to the Target and Ulta a lot. However, the inside is very dead at this point and the only stores that see traffic are the anchor stores. Could be a good thing if you're looking for a quick trip, but it makes the whole atmosphere very depressing and when you have malls like Old orchard nearby which are much more bustling and frankly have much more variety. It makes golf Mill an inferior option.

This dealer, let me tell you, my father and I got the best service we've ever gotten at a dealer. We are beyond grateful for Julia (Sales Rep) and Nick (Owner) for doing everything as possible to help us and meet our expectations. You guys were amazing! Thank you so much for everything.

The store clean, organized, dressing rooms are open and well lit. While clothing prices are ridiculously high, there are some deals out there. With coupons you can find on the app. I found the store very nice to shop at.

First time I came to this mall was in 2019. I took the bus for the first time and never even heard about this mall before. On top of that I was super new to the area. So much has changed in 3 years and it’s only gone down hill. It makes me wish I had seen what this Mall was like before. Im not sure what the game plan is but they need to bring back new stores or at least do something with the sears building. Make this a fun place where people can shop again.

This mall is almost dead, but I don't why the kids play area is not open yet. The covid-19 is over, but look like not for golf mill mall. My son does tykando, so my daughter can play in mall kids play area but it's been closed for so long and I don't know how to keep my daughter busy at that time. Please open play area for kids.

Up-scale mall. We all know how’s Golf Mill are this one same like quite, good restaurants, good people, numerous shops and great Insta structures. It’s a open mall shop so if you are not inside the shop you will be out of roof and we all know how’s Chicago winter is so make sure to plan according of you don’t want to frizzing in cold 🥶. But all over one of the best shopping mall in Chicago

How is this mall still open? Seriously. There are more empty stores than filled ones. I stopped here on a Saturday around 1:00 to visit the Visionworks and the mall was a ghost town. Three stores that had been open a week earlier were closed and the only people in sight were the older mall walkers. It's the shopping equivalent of a zombie; dead yet somehow still slowly shuffling along.

What the heck happened to this mall? We used to have good times out here 10-15 yrs ago. Now it looks like a zombie apocalypse ravaged the place with hallways blocked for no reason, empty shops, drinking fountains and faucets not working, no A/C, .... If you want to know what it feels like to be in a post-apocalyptic society, come here...

There is a Target there. You come in for tissue paper and leave with enrichments for your home and another toaster oven - in red! Stopping is a breeze and access from practically all sides to the central avenues. Extremely pleasant spot to visit for speedy shopping.

👍 I had an appointment. When I arrived, there were 12-13 other people there. I'm not vaccinated, yet. People were waiting by the windows and doors. It felt extremely unsafe. I left when my appointment wasn't honored after 15 minutes. But, if you want to just walk in and take your chances, good ahead....

👍👍 It's amazing that the Eastwood Mall has been able to survive the trend of closing malls. The mall, the surrounding restaurants and businesses provide many choices and opportunities to satisfy the needs and desires of their customers. Great places to spend time and find what you want.
