Sharing few pictures of the mall. It's absolutely beautiful especially this time of the year. A huge shout out to the property management team that oversees this mall. Everything from the decorations, cleanliness, fully staffed and occupied as well the security and police patrol in and around the perimeters of the mall. Absolutely love it and hope it continues to stay this way. Keep up the great work!!

This mall is a bit far from where I live but I still take extra mile to come here . Variety of stores to shop , kept clean and well , I like their decorations for holidays too. We don't eat from mall food court so having the cheesecake fac. here is a plus.

We ordered the hibiscus lemonade (chose still water instead of sparkling) with lychee jelly and it was so refreshing! Unfortunately, the cashier said it only came in the smaller size. In comparison to other bubble tea places I've been to, it's a little pricey for the simplicity of the drink but still very tasty.

Nice clean mall with lots of shopping variety. Not overly crowded and you'd feel comfortable shopping here. Not a lot of spots to sit if you're waiting for someone shopping though.

Orland Square is a leading regional mall located in Southwest suburban, Orland Park, Illinois. While I wouldn’t categorize it has a high end fashion center, it is a pleasant shopping mall that’s well managed and maintained. The mall has your typical national brand department stores: Macy’s and JC Penny’s. The mall also has one regional, high end department store, Von Maur. Because the mall is the largest regional mall in this area of South Suburban Cook County Illinois, I think the region would be better served if the mall had more high end shops, stores and eateries. By doing so, the mall would reach a broader market share of families with higher end incomes, living in some of the areas higher end neighborhoods and community developments. All-in-all, it’s a decent mall. It’s my hope, that the Mall will eventually expand to accommodate all of its regional citizens. The former Sears Department store covers a vast amount of space which can be incorporated into additional shoppes, making the Mall a more appealing destination. At present, Orland Square is simply your average suburban, indoor mall. Though well maintained and clean, esthetically, the mall lacks luster and beauty: it resembles a 90’s area concrete wall of indoor shops. Not attractive, yet clean. Were the mall expansive and architecturally pleasing, I would have rated it a 5-star mall. Truthfully speaking, it has the makings of becoming a beautiful, Mecca for regional travelers, tourists and residents. Along the exterior of the mall’s outside property, lies new hosts of restaurants(some new to the region), shops and specialty stores, which have enhanced the existing market fairly well. Interestingly enough, the mall’s exterior is where it’s growth appears to be taking shape. Maybe a visionary, w/the monies/capital, will come along and breathe new life in Orland Square? Until that time comes, we’ll have to settle for that which we have and on a good day, travel to our northern suburbs where the true malls(plural) exists.

My family and i went to the orland mall yesterday. My husband went to the food court to use the restroom and to get a snack. There was a mall cop in front of the only entrance ( the other entrances were blocked) there were people searching for their medical cards. They wont let u go into the food court unless u have a vaccinations card. We really need to take our country back. This is terrible.

This mall is a joke as well as it’s security. Me and my friends walked in around 6 PM last night, driving from 2 hours away and just wanted to get some food. But the security immediately pulled us over, asking for IDs as other people walked right past without any checking, especially unaccompanied teenagers as I saw them all over the mall. We had to be escorted out eventually just because we wanted some food and our only problem was that we wore hijabs and were Muslim. We were racially profiled by the security and escorted out like we committed a crime. Do not recommend this mall at all, if you want to be racially profiled, discriminated against, and humiliated, then go ahead.

Orland Park Mall was nice enough. The carousel was nice and a draw for families. The food court has the standard fair: Panda Express, Sbarro, Taco Bell. Also had options I have not seen before: Byrds Hot Chicken and Incredible Burger. The mall has an interesting "Unaccompanied Minor Policy": on Saturday and Sundays all mall visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a 21 or older adult. The accompanied Adult is responsible for the actions of the minor(s) they are with.

This mall continues to add new great stores. Only two issues on our last visit: kids under 18 can't walk around alone after a certain time so my daughter couldn't shop around with her friend without me which is really annoying on both sides. Second issue was that an escalator was down so it was a bit annoying getting around.

Quick in and out visit. Mall area wasn't too busy. Found what I needed right away. Seems as though some stores are opening up later and later. Guess it's a sign of the times. Mall security and Orland PD were very visual

This place is a rat hole and feels more like a prison than a mall. I’m so serious I will never shop or go near this level four prison . What a shame there’s more cops walking around then actual shoppers. And the big white lady walking around allowing her filthy German shepherd to sniff you as you walk by. I can’t make this s#!t up, and it happen to me twice within 10 minutes. Wonder why? It’s Outrageous and disrespectful on so many levels.

The mall is a beautiful place to shop and enjoy the many retail stores, especially the branded ones. There is a place for children with beautiful and safe games for all ages. There is also a dining hall, which includes a large and distinctive group of luxury restaurants. In my opinion, I highly recommend it to spend a nice time with friends or family.

  • 1/5 SimplyDionna 3 years ago on Google
It was too many people in the stores. It was people who weren’t even shopping they were simply just there to chill in the mall and stand there. Stores didn’t have much to buy. The mall was very hot. I didn’t spot any sanitizing stations for shoppers what’s so ever and considering that there is a pandemic I think it should be sanitizing stations everywhere. I won’t be back.

Rarely do I find myself at the mall anymore. OP mall has changed since I was a teenager that used to hang out at the mall. Now they have police that are there all day, which is fine but shouldn’t be necessary. The store selection has really diminished - so many stores have closed and the ones that have replaced are just garbage stores filled with cheap clothes.

Enjoyed shopping at H&M and Torrid. The customer service in both stores were great. I was able to get a decent 10% discount at H&M and personalized assistance at Torrid. I forgot the ladies' names who help me shop. The overall mall was clean and not super busy. It was LOTS of people without masks on (I'm not playing with covid no matter the mask mandate). Some stores do shut down 1 hour before closing, so it's best to come earlier if you want to walk around, shop, and window shop. Security was helpful. I got slightly lost and the security offered help to get to the parking lot and entrance I used. Beware of some of the booths in the middle. Lady charged me $50 bucks for one plush/stuff character... Google searched the same stuffed animal/character and found it 5 times cheaper, yet it's being sold 5 times the price for the same cheap stuffed animal/character. I should've past the booth up but my child really wanted the stuffed character (I think she upcharged on purpose since no one was shopping or stopping by 😒)

Grew up going to this mall over the past 25ish years. While I really miss the old aesthetics, I still enjoy going to this mall. These days alot of the stores I was interested have either moved out or closed. There is still a good variety of stores to the mall. The food court has an ok selection of places to eat.

Spent $1500 in back to school for kids so we sat down to enjoy our meals in the food court. 10 minutes into our meal, security said the mall was closing in 2 minutes & we had to exit he mall right away. They could not even give us 5 minutes to finish! RUDE & inconsiderate!

This place is where you can buy any products that you need. There are various options to choose from, very clean and you definitely feel safe shopping here. There are restaurants which are very good for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Amusement areas are awesome too, especially for kids. They have very nice quality products, like clothing, that every person can return back to. It observes health protocols properly. It was an amazing experience. The parking space is not so crowded. So, I enjoyed shopping, roaming and eating here at Orland Square. I will recommend this shop to all of my family and friends.

Glad they moved the Pink and Victoria’s Secret down to the food court area, when it was on the upper level by JCPenney there was a sitting area where a bunch of creepy older men would watch teenagers and younger women enter and exit Victoria’s Secret.

Me and my daughter went and they were very rude to us the whispering and eye rolling from the girl at the register and the pregnant girl I would advise anyone not to even go to that store. Where do they find these people from if you don’t want to work stay home and be more respectful to other people.

For the size of this small it's very alive and well. Very clean. People are friendly. Their bathrooms are clean. The Lego store has size limits so if you do go make it brief it was quite a wait. Cheesecake factory was superb as always. We had a nice time. No problems.

I went into the mall briefly for the first time in a long time and as nice as it still is the economy and pandemic have taken a toll here too. I was saddened by the missing businesses and frenzy of the teenagers who used the mall as their meeting place. I hope recovery is in the future for this mall.

This mall is where criminals go to use stolen credit cards over and over. PHONE CHARGERS kiosk and CHAMPS are 2 that accepts stolen credit cards. Hmm wonder if they are set up as a biz who 'specializes' in such. Watch your wallet and other valuables at all times..best yet..do not shop here. You never know what could happen in the parking lot.

If you're on the safer side regarding covid, do not go here. I had to go to get work clothes that are not online and I, double masked and gloved, was shocked at the lenience in the mall. For one, the whole capacity limit is non-existent. It was packed with no one reinforcing the limits. To add to this, a decent amount of people were ignorant enough to not even wear masks or wear the masks under their chins (this includes the mall police officers) Regardless of that, the stores were nice and had everything I needed.

Much like every other place it appears people forgot how to drive during Lockdown. This parking lot and the surrounding businesses is a nightmare to get into as it was designed by two monkeys with several crayons. however the mall itself is doing well to not become a dead mall. Fantastic variety of shopping.

Shopping here is like at home. You got what you need and enjoy it within. Beautiful place and the staffs are very friendly. They are observing health protocols and of course the place is very clean. I am enjoying this place when I need to unwind from the stress of life. So, If you want to destress? Just come here and you will experience a stress-free moment. Parking space is not so crowded. I will recommend Orland Square to all of my relatives and friends who are very fond of mall hopping. Let's shop and dine.

I revisited the trampoline park today with my kids once again. The bathrooms were dirty and the trampoline park isn’t safe for children. More importantly, Jamal, a manager, was very disrespectful and went as far was threatening to kick us & the children out over birthday cake. His attitude was beyond ridiculous and I will not be visiting again due to this. Never in my life have I seen anyone without a conscience. He made children cry. Zero stars.

Orland Square is one of the best indoor shopping malls. It is very clean and well maintained. Located in Orland Park, IL, just outside of Chicago, Orland Square has many popular retail shops including Macys, Coach, William Sonoma, etc., and restaurants, both fast food as well as fine dining, located in and around the mall. Don't pass up the opportunity to get a slice of cheesecake, or an entire meal, from the Cheesecake Factory. That alone is worth the trip.

  • 4/5 Diane C. 1 year ago on Google
Decent mall with most of the mall being open and decent selection of stores. Other malls have half to a third being used by stores. Clean, lively, and food court has variety.

  • 3/5 Andrew B. 1 year ago on Google
I've seen the highs and the lows. While the retail world remains much the same, the shoppers always change. All in all it's modern, it's clean, and likely has what what you need. IMO a mall is a mall, some just have more "stuff". If you've been to one, you've been to them all.

I just need Rachel from Beauty Frizz not to be so aggressive & touchy feely. She literally held on to my arm the whole time I was there, even after she was done rubbing on the moisturizer. It was uncomfortable. The products she was selling was great but the price was out of my range. Thank you!

The mall is always clean with plenty of new shopping areas whenever I come here. It seems like they have some shops that are exclusive for Orland because I don't see them anywhere else. I have to pick and chose when it comes to the clothing stores, but the other stores are hardly and issue unless they are crowded with people. Most of the people are decent though.
