I'm very confident about giving this place a 5-star rating! 1- Food: Food was absolutely delicious and healthy, you can eat as much as you want here without feeling stuffed. Everything is very healthy and cooked with little to no oil. I loved their teas too! 2- Vibe: The environment is great, pretty calm and relaxing! Also a lot of art work and interesting messages on the walls! 3- Pricing: Very reasonable, relatively cheap and totally worth it! 4- Cleanness: REALLY neat and clean. Germophobe approved!! 5/5!!! From the table to floor and bathroom, everything was very neat and clean! 5- Staff: super nice and friendly, didn't have any issues! 6- Menu diversity: their menu looks amazing and has tons of delicious options!! 100% recommend for vegans and non-vegans! Especially if you're looking for a relax place to eat some healthy food!

One of the best vegan restaurants I've ever been to. The food is overall delicious, flavorful, not too greasy or salty. My friend and I had Dr. K's soup, vegan dumplings, and yin and yang dish, all were worth trying. The ginger citron tea was soothing. I wish I had more of a stomach to try the other dishes on the menu. Def will have to come back soon!

Insanely delicious vegan food. The ambiance was very serene and the service was impeccable. The mandoo vegan dumpling simply melted in your mouth. The Dark side of the moon dish and the mushroom Bi Bim Bop were both so delicious. Yes, we did leave very clean plates. We intended to order their vegan pizza, but sadly, due to lack of workers, they were not offering it that night. We will be back for sure to taste that pizza!

My first choice is all RAW foods pulled straight from the trees and ground and straight into my body as it’s in its purest and natural form and that is what these energetic bodies need. Food: Jade Maki Sushi Rolls was good. Lacked flavor. I am someone who enjoys herbs and seasonings on food to wake up everything and then it will be a dance party in my body. Seaweed and Spinach soup was a delight and very tasty. Mung bean pancakes had no flavor at all. I did enjoy the fact that it made my body feel really good and comforted. The Wolf’s Dream entree was ok. I’m learning although I love flavors in a massive way I’m more so concerned that my energetic body absorbs as many nutrients as possible and this restaurant makes sure of that by not serving you any toxic items. Most if not all is body safe. Drink Ginger Energy Tea was delight. Very generous portions. Affordable prices. Street Parking. You get a discount if you pay with cash. There’s a 3% processing fee with credit/debit cards. Customer service can use some help but overall it was a joyous and magnificent experience. Wholeness and Infinite Love To All! Oh boy, where to start. Finally dined in at Amitabul and were beyond amazed with the food and hospitality. Do have the Energy Ginger to start with vs Green Tea. We ordered the dumplings off the Appetizers and they were fresh and light. We ordered a dumpling noodle soup and Bibimbap and they came out fresh, full of veggies and flavor. We are coming back to try more things off the menu. There is little to no oil used in prep of the food.

Amazing vegan restaurant that everyone must visit. Upon looking at the menu I was amazed to see that most items while vegan were made without oil. We ordered a noodle dish, curry dish, vegetable dumplings and the green heaven juice. While the order took while to come, it was nicely prepared and all dishes tested fresh. The service was amazing i must say. The restaurant was super busy when we arrived but we were served right away.

My partner and I went for dine in yesterday ( we have ordered delivery in the past), and had a great experience! First off, I called to make sure they were open and the gentleman I spoke with was very sweet on the phone ( assuming the owner?). I ordered the wonton soup, There was another soup that we ordered and three entrées and the dumplings. Everything was very good! Some things were a little spicy for me, but that I’m sure it could be made more mild if you ask. The atmosphere was so chill. It was exactly what I needed after a crazy weekend at work.. also, a sidenote, I ordered the fig tea and it was absolutely amazing and I will have to find out the secret next time ! Thanks again ❤️

I am not vegan, however Amitable really brings out the vegan in me! I am impressed at the numberous dishes that are offered that contain no meats. I'm also amazed that many are cooked with little or no oil and that sodium levels are also kept to a minimum. Make no mistake: everything I've tried is so satisfying in flavor and health conscious. My favorites are "Dark Side of the Moon", "Energy Nut", and Korean pizza. I'm definitely, coming back for more! Special thanks to Brian and Chef Bill for the love!!

You really can’t go wrong with that which is proven out by the SRO lunch crowd. The endless variety is both home cooked and heavy on the Sicilian tradition. Add to that Very affordable prices and you have a winner worth repeating. Five Stars.

My favorite vegan place outside the depths of Chicago. The people are so nice here and the food is so good. If you like spicy, you will have so many options. Noodles and soups are yummy and my favorite thing is probably the green and greener nirvana. The ice cream is really chocolatey if you get dessert too.

It's a little off beat experience in the middle of Milwaukee Ave. The people working were lovely and attentive. There isn't any meat served here, so carnivores beware. It's a Buddhist approach to eating healthy, and a great experience all around! I had the kimchi tofu soup, which they say is great for a cold or flu, but take heed to their warnings when they tell you (on the menu) you will sweat!

I placed a pickup order for vegan sushi and seaweed salad this weekend that took 45 minutes. Why did a salad and cold cut take almost an hour? There were also ice cubes in the salad dressing.

But (and not to toot my own horn) I like my own Asian/Fusion cuisine better.🤷‍♀️ Flavor was ok but could have used some more diversity and spice, especially considering it's a blend of Korean and other Asian inspired dishes.

This is a jewel of a restaurant. So much delicious and healthy food to choose from. I found this restaurant searching for vegan options when I landed at O'Hare one afternoon last year. Glad I came across it. Although I live in the western suburbs, I gladly make the 35 minute drive each way to pick up the great food during this lockdown. Favorites include: pizza, jade maki sushi, original veggie tofu patties, tibetan high noon, Dark Side of the Moon.

Ended up ordering the rigatoni vodka (not a drink) by the cashiers request and realized this place means serious business. Not only do they serve legitimate Italian food, but a true culinary experience. Highly recommending you are looking for some quick munchies or a serious restaurant.

My experience here was AMAZING 😊 best customer service I have experienced, so friendly and accommodating. They make you feel like you’re at home! I had my daughter's 9th Birthday party at Gianni's and reserved tables for 30 adults & 10 kids. We ordered the Pizza Party catering package and there was enough salad, pizza, penne pasta (both meat & meatless) in marinara, and warm bread. The package was perfect: hot tasty pizza, tasty pasta, fresh salad, everything was great. Mari & the other server were great from start to finish. This was all reasonably priced. Absolutely delicious and a soothing pleasant atmosphere. Come here for a true rarity, particularly for vegan restaurants: healthy and fresh and affordable plant based food. Many low oil options. I got the dumpling, original pancakes, healthy soup, and zesty noodles. I had half my order to go, and it all held up well the next day. It’s so nice having a filling meal, and feeling lovely after rather than regretting it. Can’t wait to visit again!

I ordered the Dark side of moon and my son Spicy Tibet. Me and my son were poisoned by this meal. We were both sick. I felt terrible, I vomited several times. My son's stomach ached. I am sure it did us some harm as it was our first and last meal of the day. AMITABUL! Shame on you feeding people old food! I do not recommend this place. This is a lottery, sometimes fresh and sometimes old!

After reading all the positive reviews, I was pretty disappointed by the food here. Maybe I came on a really bad day or something? It was really, really bland. The sauce tasted like water. I felt like I was eating veggies that were boiled in water and pepper. And to make it worse, the menu description of the dish I ordered didn't mention mushrooms, but over half of the veggies were mushrooms... Which I hate. So the menu is unclear and lacks details. If a veggie takes up more than half your dish, specify it please! Even after removing half of the veggies (mushrooms), it was so bland that I couldn't even finish what was left. Everything was fresh and the portions are a good size, though. So there was at least that and is why I ended up giving 3 stars. I'd give them 1 star based on taste alone, if I'm being honest. I won't be coming here again.

Dr. K’s Cure All Soup is a classic and can’t be missed. The smoothies are delectable as well. The owner and his wife are so lovely - they really have a special business here.

I was very excited to try the food here and it didn't disappoint! My fiancée who is picky with vegetables liked his entree which made me happy! I got the kimchi tofu patties and they were delicious but I do think the texture was a bit off-putting at first (tofu is quite soft but mixed with lightly cooked vegetables) and I did not care for the sauce. We shared the dumpling appetizer and red bean small cake and ginger apple juice which were all delightful. Though it can be expensive if you get an appetizer and dessert, the portions are all generous and we had a lot of leftovers!

My mom and I came to this restaurant when we were on a short vacation to Chicago. We ordered lots of great food like the Dr.K Cure all noodle soup, the mandoos, and the Yin and Yang. Their food was amazing. Their spice levels were perfect and it was so nice to have something with a kick to it. Since they make it fresh they also adjust the spice level to your request. The fresh seasonal vegetables were cooked perfectly. I wish we had this near our home.

Great food. We got tofo miso - It had a lot of tofu! We also got the mung bean pancakes and mild tofu mushroom soup. It was amazing dipping the pancakes into the mushroom soup and pouring some mushroom soup on the pancakes, amazing combo. We also got the 'dark side of the moon' and my husband said that is his favorite.
